Wait for this to come on sale as it regularly does, but even a 'full price' this is a great buy. Sold online from manufacturer.

Aside from being able to sous vide an awesome steak, you can:
- render fat for soap-making
- melt beeswax in a jar and not worry about anything catching fire or being burnt
- put a sealed container of dough in a water bath to rise (great for when its cold)
- cook pudding in jars
- put a container of milk + yoghurt culture in a water bath and set at a suitable temperature
- warm up bottles of sauces for ice-cream (hot chocolate fudge...caramel...mmm)
- make dulce de leche using tins of condensed milk without worrying about them exploding ...

It's a little bit of preparation required, and the cooking time may seem a little excessive. But the end result makes it all worth while.
Cooks to absolute perfection without risk of over cooking, which can be a matter of minutes when cooking a steak for example.
I can't recommend this product enough, just try for yourself!

I have had this for 6 months and initially loved it. Unfortunately the company completely ruined to machine by updating the phone app to make to machine next to useless. Thankfully I can still remember the settings I used from my most popular meals.

If I could return the product I would. Really disappointing that the app update could ruin what was a fantastic machine.

I would not recommend this product.

Had the Anova sous vide for a few months now.
Love experimenting with poached and scrambled eggs...
Never tasted such succulent chicken or duck breast!
And of course cooking the perfect thick steak is the reason I bought it in the beginning!
The Anova has certainly added to my cooking repertoire.
My kitchen never be without one!

Easily my best kitchen purchase of the past few years. Since my first use I haven't cooked red meat in any other way with chicken & pork being cooked in it 90% of the time.

I couldn't recommend it more highly.

The latest app update is rubbish (and made me a little angry if I'm being honest) but I'm still giving it 5 stars because... jesus christ you've gotta taste how good steak is cooked with this thing... seriously.

Saw a lot about Sous vide cooking on the web and after a lot of research decided to give it a go using the Anove Precision Cooker with wifi.
Purchased online through Anova culinary and order was shipped promptly and arrived at expected time. Packaging of the unit is excellent and the pieces easily slip back into the box for storage.

So far have cooked 30mm thick T-bones, Atlantic salmon tails with crispy skin and boned out middle eastern seasoned leg of lamb. All were done based on the included Anova recipes and all were loved by the fami...

Anova recently upgraded their app which you can use to control the device from your phone. They now require personal details and a login to use the app and to control your Anova. This is a total invasion of privacy and simply unnecessary to operate a water heater. Its nothing more than data mining by the new parent company Electrolux. Give them your details and expect more spam and product pushes by Electorlux. Such a shame that a really useful product and app has been ruined in the pursuit of your personal details..Avoid at all costs..!! Try a Sansaire instead.

We use conventional cooking, slow cooking and the Anova PC. We are NOT chefs or wanna bes. We do appreciate quality food and HATE cleaning greasy pans.
We'd talked about sous Vide for FIVE years. All too expensive and taking up too much space. Then ANOVA and a few others started making controllers that you could clamp onto your own vessel. Basically a stirrer and a very precise thermostat. Christmas 2016, my husband got a Anova Precision Cooker (and one for the nephew). Just the basic model (Bluetooth). Weighs about 1 kg and fits into a drawer...

I've been using an older model (Anova One) for about three years, with daily usage. It served me well but died a few days back.

Sadly, customer support was terrible. Replies felt insincere and rushed. As if the person could not be bothered to do their job.

I had received a plug for the wrong country when I received it, but only recently realized it. When I raised this up, I was told the following (In order of replies):

1) It was not possible (Showed her picture)
2) International Plugs were only released in the newer models (The second unit I ordered at the same time got the international plug)
3) It is an international model. They could not really say if I was sent the wrong plug (I literally just showed it to them)

Ordered my Anova about six months ago as I wanted to replace a much larger and far more expensive unit that was taking up way too much bench space.

It is awesome.

I love the fact that I can experiment in different sized containers, doing hard-boiled eggs in a small pot, steaks in a medium and an entire leg of lamb in my big soup pot! I've even made my own limoncello in a few hours that was better than anything made over a few months, including store-bought bottles.

This is a five star chef's tool for the home chef, so don't expect that...

I was given an Anova Sous Vide for Christmas 2016. I was broken by 15 Jan 2017. I used it 3 times.
When given it I read reviews and how to use it on multiple sites and it was the best sous vide out there, with rave reviews. I was optimistic when trying it out. I have not seen the cooking shows on TV that show its uses so it was a whole new world for me.

My Anova kept shutting off randomly. When I contacted their support to resolve this, they said its out of warranty and they don't do repairs, so I'll just need to buy a new one.

What kind of company does not have the ability to repair or replace their electronics? All my follow up emails were ignored.

I really regret shopping with Anova. I ordered the Anova Precision Cooker in advance on 4 December 2016 thinking that I would receive it before Christmas for a gift. When I made the order, it provided an arrival date of 20-23 December 2016.

When I contacted the company on 13 December to follow up, I was told that it would not ship until 19th December and that I should wait 48 hours for a shipping link.

I was not sent this link until 23 December only after I contacted Anova, and the tracking reference provided by the company did not work....

Tried our new Anova Sous Vide Precision Cooker last night with some lamb tenderloin chops and OMG - beautiful results. So easy to use - sync with my phone for recipes and time/temp guidelines and hit "go" and the unit starts heating/circulating the waterbath for the food.
