The new iPhone XR is an excellent alternative to the XS or XS max. Great screen size and camera quality, with very little comprise from the more expensive models. I would highly recommend this phone to anyone not looking to spend $2000 on a phone!

Best phone I’ve had yet. Apps run smoothly and quickly and having Face ID to unlock the phone is very convenient when in a rush. I love that I could buy the phone in my favourite colour - yellow. The best part is not having to charge the iPhone XR constantly. The battery lasts me all day (even with constant use) and I find I only have to charge it at night when going to sleep. So convenient for when I’m out and about and don’t have a wall charger any where near me. Thank you for the long-lasting battery!

Phone lives up to its name however being glassed encased it’s extremely fragile even with protective cover. My screen broke after a little knock and now is now “bleeding” can’t use the front camera and can’t see the top of the screen where all the menu buttons are on most pages and parts are extremely expensive was quoted $650 to fix it . I also have a lot of lagging and freezing issues with it and the message tone distorts on a regular basis.

So far I think this is the best mobile I have bought, moved up from a 8Plus.
No home button is greater lot easier to get around the phone.
Pictures are very good, certainly don't need a stand alone camera anymore.
No problems with apps, all running ok.
Also very happy with Telstra,been with them on Mobile deals since 2015 and never a problem and when there anything to fix it is generally fixed promptly and always contactable.I like using the chat line as I can get a transcript of what was said over the chat line.
Internet speed is great.
Probably only downside of the phone is that it is a bit pricy, could be cheaper.

The photos the iPhone XR takes is unreal. Looks professional. The portrait setting is my favourite.
I use my phone for taking photos of my son and family, games, music and listening to podcasts.
All apps I have used all run smoothly and it’s easy and fast to download anything.

My husband picked this phone out for me. I love almost every thing about it. I love the sleek design, the camera and the battery life.
I wish it was a bit smaller as I can’t use it in one hand. But saying that, it’s. I’ve having the bigger screen to watch videos.

August 14th 2022 Update: Beautiful photos

I’ve been an iPhone user for many years and love how they continue to be more advanced and easy to use.
The size of the screen is great and the speaker is really loud and great quality.
The new “portrait” option in the camera is gorgeous!
The only thing I dislike is that I need two hands to hold it to text. But it’s worth it as viewing videos is more enjoyable.

This would have to be the best phone I have ever owned. Took a little getting used to with not having a home button, but it was an easy transition. The camera is incredible and I love the sound quality from the speakers. The face recognition is also a very welcomed addition.

I use an iPhone XS Max, and I got this iPhone XR for my Brother, I wish I bought the same for myself (XS MAX is way more expensive).
so far so good. It's reasonable compared to all other iPhone

I have been a Samsung person since 14 and recently decided to take the leap and change over. It has been amazing and the XR has converted me for life

When you compare the other flagship apple has, this device is indeed a budget option compared to the others. It has a decent camera but don't expect too much from it. Only to be used for calling, messaging etc.

Phone does get quite warm so that’s the only downside of this ...

Despite of being LCD the screen still looks superb around LCD iPhones. Face recognition is fast and pretty handy, the rim is bit on the bold side but still acceptable. Good photos from the camera but it'd be nice to have a dual camera settings as its siblings. Dual sim capability is a great addition, as many overseas operators support eSIM it's handy for travelling at a low communication cost, while still able to receive text messages from services home.

I spend a lot of time on my iPhone and the XR makes using social media, taking photos, music and video play easier and more enjoyable. With its high-quality LCD and great speaker system, playing games and YouTubing has been easy and pleasant. The Camera has been an improvement and still manages to make images pop with colour. Even though the ecosystem remains the same, I found that to be ideal for somebody like me that enjoys simplicity.

I find the iPhone XR slow mine always is freezing I have completed all updates and still freezes and takes quite awhile to load sometimes. However pictures are really great to take and have heaps of details. Also battery life ends really quick

This phone is so much fun to use. The camera and video are top notch quality. Make your own avatar and send fun text messages. Nice and slim to hold.
