Poor service from Apple regarding my warranty claim
Firstly I have been reasonably happy with my Macbook Pro. My complaint is about the service received from Apple. I was on my second charger (they don't seem to last) when I noticed an acrid electronic smell. My second charger has died. That's OK it is only 18 months old purchased by me brand new from Apple Miranda store, and under consumer law is entitled to be replaced. Due to Covid-19 there are no Apple stores open, I have to drive 30 minutes to Padstow to a third party service centre and drop it off. No problem totally reasonable considering...Read more
the Covid-19 Pandemic, we all have to make adjustments, I get it. 1 week later please come pick it up, it is most certainly broken and warrantable, however we cannot replace it as it has no serial number as it is an accessory, we the third party repair centre have no authority to replace it. Obviously not happy with this outcome. So we drive over and pick up the damaged charger. 1 week later however I get a notice, after complaining about the process, saying you can claim against your original macbook. Please for the third time drive over to Padstow 30 minutes each way and drop off your laptop so we can grab the serial number and attempt to make a claim against the laptop. Then wait 1-2 weeks for the charger to come in and then you can drive 30 minutes each way for the 4th time to pick up your $119 charger. I tried to have the Apple representative see reason and asked that seeing as I have the original purchase receipt for the charger purchased 18 months ago from Apple store, Miranda and that I have presented the charger for assessment, which concluded the charger was faulty and also provided a photograph of my macbook serial number as well, could you not just send me a new charger. Nope not possible, we don't have stock at head office as it is a legacy product, and also there is a 2 week wait at your local apple store for an assessment, which you will need to undertake again, that is all we can do for you. I honestly felt like I was in a scene from Fawlty Towers. This is supposed to be a premium product with premium service. This has not been my experience.Purchased in August 2021 at Apple Physical store for A$119.00.

PERFECT EXPERIANCE
Apple is expensive I know, But you are paying for quality, customer service after purchase and a computer doesn't get slower over time like PCs.
I have been using my Macbook Pro for the last 3 years. It is still like brand-new, Still as fast as first day.
I can't be more happy with my decision of moving to Mac from PC. I would never go back to a PC again.
Apple deserves to be the best tech company.

Excellent!!!
I absolutely can't believe how amazing this laptop is, the display is excellent and stays crystal. I really like the fact that you can't get a virus. every laptop that i have previously owned had crashed or got a virus.
The speed is exceptional and it stays fast, no more slowing down which is very good.
There is nothing bad that I can say about this laptop
go buy one

Amazing Product
I've been an Apple user on and off for a few yeas now, and this is by far the best piece I've purchased. The reason I upgraded from my 2010 model was purely the Retina display but the benefits were so much more than just the image. The battery is insane, I've never had a laptop with a battery that lasts this long, it's almost as good as a tablet battery. I typically use the MacBook for media viewing and web surfing which isn't very taxing on the unit but when I do decide to push the limits it barely slows down.
The ability to use my MacBook ...Read more
to stream to Apple TV is one of the features that really separates it from the pack. If I had one nitpack it would be, of course, the price. Apple are known for having higher prices than pretty much any other computer manufacturer but at the end of the day the build quality and extra features you get from the Apple ecosystem is, in my opinion, worth the price of admission. The fact that there is no optical drive (no CD's or DVD's) is annoying but I suppose allows for the thinner form and slightly lower cost, but I still kind of miss it. If you're looking for a simple web browser or workhorse, you can find cheaper. But if you're using an iPhone and/or and iPad or have Apple TV, the MacBook Pro is an awesome machine. The Retina display is the icing on the cake. Retina display, AirPlay option, battery life High price, no optical driveSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Excellent laptop
Just all you want from a laptop: light, long battery life, crisp and bright display.
It's also incredibly powerful: I usually run OSX 10.9 and two Windows 7 sessions at the same time (with vmware) and it is still not slowing down. I think the solid state drive brings a huge improvement in performance.
I recommend maxing the RAM though, I went for 16 GB.
light, long battery life, crisp and bright display
need adapter for Ethernet port . Not enough USB ports. Built-in speaker sound too tiny.

Really great! This is now end of 2017 and there is no sign of this laptop slowing down! I use it for my business which is heavy engineering tasks everyday and it never misses a beat!
