Hi, I am an Aussie expat living in Colombia. I am looking to buy a guitar, and am wondering if you have a distributor who handles South America. Thanks for your time. Regards, Nigel.
Hello Nigel. I am sorry to say that we do not have any distributors nor do we ship to Colombia. If you have a mate or family here in AU, we can ship it to them and they can then ship it to you in Colombia in turn.
How does the lock work on the REC350BK case? I have tried and it just seems to spin around without actually locking
Hello David. I am sorry for the inconvenience. Would you be able to send us a video showing the problem for us to assess and document the problem? You can upload the video file through this link: https://www.videoask.com/fae0mk9ew
I am a female, 51 yo, first time purchasing an acoustic and looking at the 41 inch LSPS, would that be a good fit?
Hi Debra, Sorry for the delayed response.
The LSPS is a smaller acoustic, so it's most likely a good fit for you, can you tell me how tall you are? Thats the best way to work out which size would be most comfortable for you.

Hi, I would love to own the OS60EQ O Sized Parlour Acoustic-Electric Guitar but the Fishman installation is stopping me from pulling the trigger. If I am just noodling on the sofa or playing around a campfire, I don't need to plug in. Whilst some professionals will appreciate the amplification, a casual player like myself would very much prefer a simple unadorned instrument. Perhaps you could offer a choice, with or sans Fishman?
You can try the OS60EQ guitar and choose not to use the preamp. We also have a 100 day free returns policy so we got you covered if you're not satisfied with it when you receive it.
Has anyone got a review on the student violin packs?
Which guitar would you recommend for someone with diddy-sized hands? This has always caused problems for me, especially when playing barre chords. My index finger = 6.4cm, middle finger = 7.2cm, hand fully stretched (little finger to thumb) is = 20cm though with an almost 180 degree reach (years of playing bass!).
Maybe a 3/4 size?
Hi Joolz, Are you playing an acoustic or an electric? What do you currently use? Ian
Hi. I'm looking at getting an electric guitar. I used to play a Les Paul copy about 30 years ago, but haven't actually played now for years. Even with that I had a bit of a problem with barre chords though not with open chords.
So you might want to try something with a thinner neck as this might help, or you might need some help with the technique, I notice a lot of beginner players use too much pressure on their hand and make it harder for themselves, having said that a barre chord is harder to play than a regular chord. Do you live near our showroom at all?
I'm down in Melbourne and seeing as you appear to be in NSW, I suspect you are outside of my possible 25km radius. ;-) I think you're probably correct about the hand pressure thing, also I reckon I likely have dodgy wrist/palm positioning. I'll do a bit more research regarding nut width, radius, neck cut, etc, and *eventually* make a decision. Thanks for the help and the speedy responses. I have to say I've been very impressed so far with what I've seen/read regarding Artist Guitars, and I'll almost certainly be ordering something soon. :-)
So If I was you I would lean towards one of our strat style guitars, maybe the STH, it won't make a big difference size-wise, but it is lighter. I wouldn't focus too much on the nut width etc as you might not find much of a difference. If you need any help either send us a message or give us a call on 1300 489 816, Ian
I bought A cherry semi-hollow artist guitar like A 335...it has an "A " on the truss rod cover, I noticed that your current models don't have that. When did that get discontinued?
I’m sorry we don’t have exact date on this. We do have new models coming out soon that might include this. If you would like to know if those new models have it or not let me know.
Good evening my name is Allan a Thomas and I am a music therapist and perform in age care homes. I was wondering if you would consider donating me one of your factory second electric guitar and or your 20 watt tweed tone valve amp? I have already purchased one of your TC59s and love it I try and put on a good show and try to recreate a fantasy sound for the residents I perform for. I am wiling to put up a banner at various places I perform at to advertise your in real products. Thanks Allan Thomas [email protected]
Yes can i have lots of free stuff too? I preform for dolphins and turtles and I'll even wear a t-shirt that says artist guitars.
Are your guitars acoustic or classical guitars?
Is an Artist Portrait a good guitar?
Hi Catherine, did you mean the Parlour Guitar the OS60EQ?
Catherine, to my knowledge, Artist Guitars don’t sell a “Portrait" model. I"m guessing that you may be referring to the "Artist Portrait" guitar made by a Canadian company called Seagull (which is a sub-brand of another company called Godin Guitars). They have no relationship to Artist Guitars in Australia. ..... But to answer your question, yes, Seagull generally have a good reputation as a guitar maker, so, while I don’t have specific experience with the Portrait model, I’d imagine it would also be a good instrument, provided you have the budget to match! (In Australia, I doubt you’d pick one up for less than $1,500-$2,000.)
If I purchased the Artist LSPCEQBK Beginner Electro-Acoustic Guitar Pack, would I have to set it up or is the action already low.
We set the action to be at a good height for beginners - low enough to be easy to play, but not so low that you'll get buzzing strings.
I have a classical accoustic guitar that I have had for 48 years. It is made in Japan out of spruce and mahogany with the serial number 19674 can you advise me how I can find out the brand please.
If you look inside the soundhole you should see a label with the maker details. If there's no information here, it's very difficult to tell, best to take it to a local guitar luthier.
