My dryer is not collecting water in the water collection reservoir and even with semi dry towels there was water in condenser. I clean lint collector every cycle, but hardly use the dryer really. I cleaned the condenser this week and there was a fair amount of fluff so thought that was the problem but still no water collecting in the reservoir. Husband decided to have a look and said there was something at the back of where the condenser sits that was hanging down. Not sure if this is the problem, can't remember if it was there last time I cleaned condenser
Hi! I have a Asko T753C dryer. I put in just a comforter and it stopped mid cycle. Now the machine turns on, but shuts off when I press “start.” I cleaned the filter and condenser (both completely covered in lint) but it still shuts off. Any other tips??
where do I find the heat pump reset button ?
I am not an appliance repair engineer - I simply asked detailed questions of ASKO repair engineer.
DO THE FOLLOWING AT YOUR OWN RISK.
shift the dryer into work area and unscrew the rear screws - take ...
Read morecare not all the screws should be removed. look carefully at the type of screws some hold part inside to the back. once you get inside you will see some wiring and circuit breakers mounted at various locations. The one I have is black with RED reset button. This is a safety device and is not accessible to the general user because there is a FIRE risk if the motor overheats or draws too much current. You just need to press the red button to reset the CB. IF your dryer is not faulty then this should get it going. Test the dryer while it is open and the motor should run now until the next time it trips. Product from hell!
I have just replaced the control board on my T753C dryer after it stoped operating completely.
It works fine on the "revitalise" cycle but on any of the other cycles I have to press the start button about 5 times before it starts operating. Also the screen is blank except on the "revitalise" cycle. Any suggestions would be appreciated .
Hi Anthony, I would suggest you go back over the connections and see if you missed anything. Also read over the instructions again, as sometimes you need to reprogram the control boards.
Hope that helps.
Hi Sin, All connections appear to be correct. tried to do a total reset as per instructions - hold stop button and turn on power- I have a blank screen. What should I see?
I have an ASKO dryer T754W CD.
The inner filter snaps into place but the door on the filter system will not close. Any help?
We have a T753C that gets very hot on top of the machine even when not in use so we have to turn off at the wall when not using. Now has a terrible burning smell.
It has been lightly used and well maintained. Is it worth fixing?
Hi, my problem is every time I put large laundry, eg. sheets, doona cover in dryer. They tumble up into a log. I have to pause program and straighten them out. It’s a problem. Please tell me what I can do to stop this?
we bought a T754HP and have started using it last week but with no success. small loads, larger loads etc. it takes about 2.5 hours!!!! and still not dry. All the filters are clean. What can I do ?
We have an ASKO front loader washer and a Model T754C condenser dryer. Initially the dryer worked well - although we only used it a handful of times to finish off medium sized loads. After a year or so the dryer started cutting out mid-cycle with moisture evident inside the dryer door and laundry cupboards. From time to time we could detect a burnt smell. After a number of visits by a technician to check and reset the dryer it was determined the override switch inside the rear housing had completely melted (and burnt the surrounding area). Hundreds of dollars have been spent in call out fees and parts and we spent months without a working dryer. Eventually a new trip switch was installed to rectify a "recognised design fault".
Now we have a problem with the dryer not collecting the water in the reservoir. Yesterday we dried a medium sized load and upon checking the reservoir found no water. We are diligent not to overload the dryer and in removing lint etc.
We have much the same problem with this Dryer. That Burning Smell!!! Sometimes I have to stop and start it 30 times before it works properly :-(
I have just moved house and my Asko dryer T753C is now leaking too! It was set up to condense via the well not a pipe. Could someone explain what might be the issue all of a sudden?
Hi Tarn,
Is the pipe at the back connected properly to the condenser drawer at the top or to your drainage? Also kindly check to make sure both the filters are clean, their is no lin...
Read moret around the seal on the filter on the door either. If you have checked these and the problem still persists you will need to book a tech to come and inspect it. If you would like assistance in booking one in, you can contact our after sales service staff on 1300 002 756.Hi, my heat pump dryer is not drying my clothes at all. It is 2 days old, nothing needs cleaning in it. I have tried drying one item and I have tried drying a few items at once on about 4 different programs for up to 3 hours each time and the Clothes in there are STILL not dry or even close to it!!
This is extremely frustrating as it is not doing its job which I paid $2200 for it to do. Is there something not mentioned in the owners manual that I have to do for it to actually do its job? I am most certainly not impressed
Hi, don't think my dryer is a heat pump, but when my dryer was first delivered it did not dry the clothes properly so asko replaced it immediately. This sounds like the best thing for you. The shop w...

We bought our At753c dryer three years ago. We have only used it twice and it worked perfectly both those times. I decided that I wanted to use it today to finish off some sheets. I pressed the button with clock beside it, which offered me 1 hour, when I pressed it to alter the time I heard a loud click and the machine had no power. I have turned it off at the power point and turned it on again hoping to reset it but still no power. What has happened?
Hi Jen,
I would like to help resolve the issue. If you could kindly email you details to [email protected] I would be happy to give you a call to troubleshoot the problem.

Hello Jen,
Exactly the same thing happened with my dryer - it was about 3 months out of warranty and used only once a week on weekend off peak electricity rates.

Hi
today i removed the condensor from my Asko t745c dryer to see if it needed cleaning, and found a pool of water in the space behind the condenser . The floor of the drier is plastic and this hollow seemed to be a drip tray, there was at least a cupful of water, which i removed with sponge and then towel. The upper water collector catches water successfully, but caught less the last time I used it, and it also seemed to take longer for the clothes to dry. The dryer has modest use, and i have been pleased with the results over the last year. Would it help to use the hose instead of the water collection box? I don't think water is in the base is part of the drying process, the dampness will surely cause rust over time. looking forward to your comments.
Hazel
Hi Hazel, I would definitely use the hose. I have an Asko washing machine that spins the loads out at 1400 rpms, when it is working properly. You would be surprised at the amount of water the dryer e...

I collected nearly a quarter of a bucket for each load. I have the hose going into the outlet with the washing machine hose, I will never have to worry about emptying the draw. I hope this helps. JennyThank you for your reply Jenny, it is amazing how much water can be extracted from a load of wasging. I will attach the hose and check the inside of the cabinet for any stray water. Read moreour washer is erratic, I have a 20 year old asko 20004 which has run wonderfully, the shocks are now worn and getting into spins is a bit wobbly but the actual spins are fine, Technician considers repair uneconomical but reading reviews makes me wonder if repairs are a better option. :-)Dear Hazel Roggen,
Thank you for your inquiry. There are couple of things we could recommend you to do: ...
Read more 1. Empty the condensed water container and check that neither the lint filter nor the condenser is clogged. 2. Overly long drying times may also be due to the tumble dryer being located in a confined area or room that is too small, causing the air to become too hot. 3. Make sure that the tumble dryer has access to more cold air, open doors and/or windows. If you still have any issues, please feel free to contact me directly on [email protected] and I would be happy to look into it. Kind Regards, Vani - Team Leader – After Sales ServiceHi, my T753C dryer is stopping half way through the drying cycle. Clothes are only half dry. Condenser cleaned regularly and lint filter cleaned after each cycle. Any clues??
Yes this is part of the new Eco approach. Very annoying. Asko think we will hang it all up then to finish. I re dry the whole load and probably it gets too much drying then. And a waste of electricity.
Sorry Marye Jane - No clues - just don't buy another one which was my mistake! After 2 trips to the repairer and $510.00 later (plus hours of time and petrol) it still isn't working properly - repair...
Read moreer replaced the whole top panel - at the moment I can get it to work but not in the way it did when originally purchased and after 2 and a half year (a little longer now because of all the back and forth to repairer) I would not have expected it to break down at all!!
