What is the waste indicator installed for?
Our 555 van has a gray water indicator. How does the gray water system work if it is fitted
Avan 555 DOM 6/2019. the hot water system stopped working on both gas and electric. The gas lighter is flicking but no gas flame. The hws unit is a Watermark 60111. The unit is usually turned on and I suspect the water tank was too low it this a possible reason?
Is there a reset button?
We were going to buy an Avan 555.5 but after reading all your problems I think we will buy something else. Had an Autotrail Delaware last an No problems like all of you are having.
Our Fly screen just stopped working when we were pulling it shut. Is there a manual we can use to fix it. It’s a horrex brand.

We had the sliding screendoor, useless but if yours is the same just clean out the track.
We replaced all with a Camec door and security screen door.
We’re just trying to work out how to fit the screen back on.
We pulled the frame out and are trying to re thred the screen it’s self

Our Avan Aspire 555 caravan 2018 microwave has just stopped working. As the microwave is built in we cannot check the electrical connection. As we are travelling gif two months we cannot get to an Avan specialist. Presently staying in Jacobs Well till next Tuesday 9th August can anybody assist us please . Thanks you
Ours looks built in but actually is held by screws underneath.
They are covered by plastic buttons
how do we get the fridge to work when not plugged into 240v
If your level the gas fridge will work
We check the vents are clear, turn on gas at bottles, turn fridge to gas setting, click the lighter and push in gas button and repeat a few times.
On ours eventually the gas ignites and the bar moves across, then we let go of the button. If yours is the same it's easy.
The instructions booklet will help
When we finish we turn off gas at the bottle and then when fridge has used gas in the line, we turn off gas at fridge.
thanks just a question "click the lighter" what does that mean
we have a clicker on the gas hot plates and oven but cant find any clicker for the fridge
We have a hard top 555 2022 the battery appear to be flat it is 3 years old so we plug it into 240 volt but still no power at all. The van has only been used once because of all the lockdowns. Can anyone help with sorting this one out?

Just take battery to auto electrician to check but it's likely so flat it will only charge by driving behind the car, the 240v charger on my Aspire will not charge if its dead flat, I have to tow for several hours
Auto electrician first just to be safe
Dead batteries usually recharge with a CTEC 25000 Reconditioning charger. I have a car with a 6 year old battery and still going fine
mine is 3 years old and has a bad leak due to using the sink, we put on the hose and turn on the sink and flooded 3inchs the inside so i disconnected and used the tanks by themselves and as soon as i turned on the pumped it started water coming out again, i cannot find the leaks any suggestion
Only 3 years old. I would take to dealer and advise that a reasonable person would expect the sink to function for more than 3 years and under Aust Consumer Law they are obliged to make good.
If the decline (unlikely) then record it all, get it professionally fixed and ask Fair Trading to act on your behalf inc your being willing to go to the tribunal.
I believe you only need to ask Avan but who knows.
I think I'm right about the law but ring Fair Trading and ask them.

We have a 2021 Avan Aspire 555 hardtop single axle. Manufacturer said to put 40psi in but they seem very soft when reversing! I am towing with 2012 Ford Territory. Could someone help with tyre pressure?
I use 40 psi and no problem towing. Zero, nil
I've got a fridge problem. The vent isn't where the fridge makers instructions says it should be but Avan guy declined to fix it so I've got to totally remove the fridge to clean the gas. That's really difficult.
Ok, so I thought I would swap out the existing AC Delco battery for a new lithium jobby. This will be easy. Mistake, I didn't take pic. In the time it took to carry the old out and the new in the cables moved wherever they wanted and now I have six of them with no idea of what is positive or negative connected. Before going to an auto electrician It seemed prudent ask here. Is there a 12 volt inclined reader who has the wherewithal and time to send me a picture of how they are connected. The van is an 2022 Aspire 555, double bed and a Projecta management system with one solar panel. Any help is appreciated and worth a beer or two should we meet - out there.

We use a Mazda BT50 2018 twin cab to tow a 2022 Avan Aspire 555 Hardtop with adventure pack are sway bars recommended to be fitted to our van?

We tow with a Ford Everest 3.2 . We started off with Load Distribution bars and a sway bar and have now become comfortable without them. For the effort of putting them on and off each time there was not enough change to warrant keeping them. We do not have the problem of transferring the weight to the front wheels. I hope this helps

What is fridge e in 555-3 avan
Just wondering if someone could tell me how long including the drawbar an avan 555-3 is. We have ordered but can't find these dimensions anywhere and we don't get caravan until november and i need measurements now.
Salesperson should have these figures at their fingertips.

Got a 2022 Aspire 555 Single. Has anyone out there got both their fridge and Alko Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system working through a single 12 pin electrical plug - along with all the other usual stuff such as lights etc? In other words having no Anderson plugs at all. Any disadvantages to simplifying/centralising everything thru just the one plug? We don’t do any dirt or off road driving.
We're still awaiting delivery of our 555 but have been told we need to turn up with a red Anderson plug (wired directly to the battery with a fuse) specifically for the ESC. The grey one is for fridge etc. Hope that helps.
