I found the content of the course, revelent for my workplace and future career.
The convenience of self paced and to submit video recordings of my role plays was ideal.
I did struggle with a couple of necessary units and it REALLY stretched me!
Overall I will continue to recommend AIPC as the learning provider.

I've just completed the Diploma of Counselling. I enjoyed the course content, learned a lot about myself, and was able to complete the practical assessments locally using a private assessor. This course is for anyone wishing to expand their self-awareness and personal development, as well as those wishing to obtain an entry level counselling qualification. The AIPC team on the Sunshine Coast are a fantastic group who are always supportive and encouraging.

I am currently studying with the Sydney Branch. Working through the Study Guides and Assessment Books at my own pace and when I want works really well with my other work and personal commitments. There is great support material in the manner of Readings. I have also attended a number of face-to-face practical assessments that were invaluable as they allowed me to network with other students and learn more about the industry. The assessor was very supportive and helpful with their feedback. The admin staff are also very helpful and supportive each step of the way.

The course faciltators were amazing and highly knowledgeable. The course content provided me with invaluable life and counselling skills.
I come from an engineering background, I found the course to be a challenge however, with the support from the tutors and the staff they provided unbelievable help and support for me to complete the diploma.

The course is well structured with industry relevant up-to-date content. Teachers are professional and well experienced. Support is timely and helpful. It would be beneficial to have work placements and more assistance in finding employment.

I found all the units interesting and I learned so much from this course. I really enjoyed the group assessments and the insights from the lecturers. The skills I've learned help with everyday situations and are great for managing difficulties. I do agree that there needs to be more support in relation to finding a job in this field, I have found volunteer work but I am not in a position to start my own practice, and have found it difficult to be considered for advertised roles.

Self paced = perfect! I'm half way through the course and feel re-energised and excited about new possibilities. Everyone is so approachable and understanding when asking questions. Well worth the investment!

Im so glad I enrolled with AIPC. They are very professional and provide courses which reflect this. Although my studies started off slowly due to my own external and personal commitments, eventually my circumstances changed and I was able to study really hard and push through to the end at a quicker rate. The turn around speed of marking is second to none and I believe this was able to keep me on track. I will definitely enroll on further studies with AIPC down the track.

Really enjoyed studying online with AIPC. Having the ability to go at your own pace is fantastic. No time limits or pressure. Support whenever you need it. What more could you ask for? After blogging and advice guru'ing for years online, this was ideal for me to start that transition from hobby to professional. The staff are friendly, qualified and really care about you finding success afterwards. They don't just cut you off after you finish. Amazing service!

I had spoken to a number of training providers prior to contacting the AIPC, and I have to say I was really impressed with the the APIC Gold Coast staff and their communication when carrying out my initial research. Their knowledge on all aspects of counselling is excellent and they really care about your progress. The materials are great and the portal is easy to get around. A really supportive team.

I had a few stops and starts along the way, as life events happen, and not once did I feel pressured beyond what I was able to do. I learnt so much from the facilitators along the way, and it was well worth the 1000km round trip to attend the workshops and assessments face to face with these wonderful people. It was also amazing meeting other students and sharing stories, experiences and getting great support from all concerned. All this built my confidence to know this is the career I really want to do, and now know I can do successfully and professionally.

The course content was thorough, easy to comprehend and follow making for good success. The practical component made for so much more learning and really putting things into perspective. I can't speak highly enough of the value this brought to the experience and learning. I traveled several hours from the country to participate and it was always overwhelmingly worth the effort. The staff on the help line where always there and always helped me to find the answers myself, further enhancing my skills. I would recommend AIPC for study to anyone, I learnt so much and enjoyed the experience.
