Hi, i have been using this seat over 3 years now. So far so good. But when i am trying to change it too booster seat mode i really don't see a pathway for belt to pass through shoulder on the booster seat. I am only able to run it through the outer area of the seat like from the top. Kindly suggest how to fix it. I feel like it is not safe enough to be using that way. I lost my manual. Could you plz help ?

Does this have the iso fix

Babylove
Babylove ·

Hi Tammy C. Thanks for your question. The Australian Standards has only tested and approved Isofix on products which do not exceed the 4 year (age) mark. For example, our Safe-n-Sound Unity Isofix capsule, and some of our birth-4 year convertible car seats have Isofix. There are no seats in Australia which have Isofix that can go beyond 4 years. Kind regards, the Babylove team.

Hi Lizz A. Thanks for your question. To change the recline position on the Babylove Taurus II, the seat will need to be removed in order to be able to reach the recline foot. Kind regards, the Babylove team.

Hi
I have a few questions that I couldn’t find answers to-

how easy is it to install and remove as coming to Australia on holidays and will change cars about 5 times in 5 weeks.

Does this fit to all modern cars 2014 onwards?

How much does it weigh?

Lastly the sides look really wide as if they might prevent a 3yr old see out the window unless leaning forward ??

Many thanks in advance

Hi Jane, thanks for your question.

how easy is it to install and remove as coming to Australia on holidays and will change cars about 5 times in 5 weeks. This seat is installed using a top tether and vehicle seat belt that will need to be fitted and removed each time you change the seat.

Does this fit to all modern cars 2014 onwards? the Taurus is compatible with most vehicles with dimensions of 760mm (H) x 385mm (D) x 530mm (W)

How much does it weigh? 6.85kgs (approx.)

Lastly the sides look really wide as if they might prevent a 3yr old see out the window unless leaning forward ?? This product has deep EPS lined side wings providing additional protection in a side impact crash.

Hope you have a lovely visit and if we can assist with any further information please email us at [email protected] kind regards, the Babylove team.

According to the latest C.R.E.P. protection star rating, this seat forward facing is 4 Star for Protection but, in the Booster seat is only 2 Star. Why is that please?

Babylove
Babylove ·

Hi Lou F, Thank you for your question. Babylove restraints are tested to meet the Australian safety standards. We would suggest that you contact the RTA - 132213, NRMA 131122- or RACV - 1800 134 126 for more information as they can explain the change in the result. Kind regards, the Babylove team.

Hi babylove, we purchased this seat about 2 years ago for our son for my husband's car and he can instal it and take it out with no problem, my son is now 4 and a very big and tall boy that we are looking for a booster seat, the only thing that makes me nervous about the booster seats is the lap sash seat belt, to me i would like more safety, can i use this one as a booster but still with the harness?

Babylove
Babylove ·

Hi Kat, thanks for your question. The Babylove Taurus II is a convertible booster seat approx. 6mth to 8yrs approx., 6mth to 4yrs approx. with the in-built harness, then 4yrs to 8yrs approx. with the vehicle seat belt. If you child has reached shoulder height marker that requires you to change the seat to booster mode you can no longer use the in-built harness and must use the seat in booster mode with the vehicle seat belt. Please feel free to give us a call on 1300 303 330 if you would like to discuss this with us in further detail. Kind regards, the Babylove team.

Reading the description of Taurus 11, can it be fitted rear facing as well as converting to front facing from 12 months? Above answers are confusing as not definitely stating can be rear facing as well????

Babylove
Babylove ·

Hi Kylie, thanks for your question. The Babylove Taurus II is a convertible booster seat and doesn't rear face. The seat is large enough to allow most children up to approximately 4 years of age to use the in-built harness and allow many children to use the in-built harness until they are 5 or 6 years of age.

Harness Mode: 6mths > 4yrs Approx Accomodating your child’s growth and the safest fit
Booster Mode: 4yrs > 8yrs Approx the Sash Guide correcty positions your child’s seatbelt

Please feel free to give us a call on 1300 303 330 if you have any further questions. Kind regards, the Babylove team.
