Colour changed, non stick did last for 6 month
It was my christmas gift. I was so happy to have full 6 set of rock pan. Used 26cm frying pan most to cook fried rice using grepe seed oil. Noticed brown colours even after wash. Stickiness was getting worse and unusable. Took out 20cm frypan and used to make fried egg couple of times a week. Few month later, same phenamenon happened. I was quietly confident despite all those experience as Baccarat offers life time guarantee. So I took them to the retailer but the first response from them was not positive. They blamed me for misuse. Main cause...Read more
for discolouraion is too much heat and wrong oil, like oilve oil. Shock to hear those accusation. Anyway they sent the pan to the bacarrat for review with little hope. One month later, I got new pans for replacement. Not a bad effort by baccarat.Purchased in October 2021 at House for A$279.00.

Wouldn't buy them again.
I have had a couple of types of Baccarat frying pans, the latest is a 21cm rock. Very disappointed. As with other users that I have just read.
I use olive oil, nothing mentioned in the instructions to say don't use olive oil, it does say not to use spray oils, which I never use.
Every thing has just started sticking, cleaned as per instructions.
I will be going back to stainless steel pans.

Non stick doesn’t last
I was really disappointed that the fry pans in my 6 piece set now seem to stick, I called customer support and they advised I take them into the store of purchase for examination. The rep said “ oh, you used olive oil” as though I did something wrong! He suggested I clean it with vinegar but nope, that did nothing. I can only imagine I’m now going to struggle to get my money back or get a replacement.
Purchased in December 2021 at House for A$300.00.

Best pans ever!
I've had a full set of Baccarat The Rock for well over a year now and they are the best I've ever owned. Never stick, easy to clean and cook evenly. I've never been so happy with a set of pot and pans.
Purchased in May 2021 for A$300.00.

The best
I cook on a gas cooktop and the handles get fairly hot but other than that I have no issues. They are perfectly non stick. Lean meats etc turn out juicy and tender. Not too heavy. Great quality

Fell apart in 2 months
My wife got a full set of these a few months ago and at first they were great. We have a normal gas top kitchen cooker and in less than 2 months both the frying pans handle assembly had crumbled and broken off leaving the pans unusable. The pots are going OK but l always have the flame turned right down for fear of the same thing happening. When we told the store about it ( not Baccarat shop) we were told “ you cook too hot) so not interested in warranty. In the end we got a couple of frying pans from Coles and they are going great guns.

Started great, now everything sticks
I loved these when we first purchased them (6 piece set), but all the pots that we used for frying started sticking within 2 years. We're talking serious sticking, needing overnight soaking for absolutely everything. I never use spray oils, harsh scrubbers or metal utensils. The pots used for soups and other non fried foods are still fine, but really it's the frying that you need the non stick pans for. I'll be returning the set and trying another brand.
Update: It's been a month since I returned these to Baccarat (place of purchase would not ...Read more
accept them so used the reply paid address on their website). No reply from Baccarat, even after phone calls and an email. Very disappointing so far. Will let you know if/when it gets resolved. Final update: Well, it took over 2 months of weekly phone calls and emails, but finally they offered a replacement. Given the poor performance of the original set, and given that I had to purchase other cookware in order to return these, I requested a refund instead. Lessons learned: keep receipts, pay a few extra dollars for postage to get a signature that it has been received (so glad I did this) and persevere!Purchased in December 2021 for A$300.00.

Really good cookware
My husband bought a set of these for me for a present. I always check the reviews and despite a large number of poor reviews I haven't had any problems. As long as you follow the maintenance instructions you should be able to cook non-stick without any problems. The pans are light weight and are excellent for stir fries, curries, steaks, eggs, and fish. It is awesome for pancakes and omelettes. Never had a problem washing these pans and never had any burn marks or anything sticking. Very happy with them. It's been a year and still non stick and in great condition like new and I use them everyday.

Worst pan I have ever used
My husband bought Baccarat Rock 6 piece set as a wedding gift in 2017 and I haven’t started using it until jan 2018 as we were buying a house then. After 6 months of use it doesn’t work as a non stick pan at all. Rather it sticks everything to the pan and have to pour plenty of oil to prevent sticking to the bottom of pan which I think defeat the purpose of buying expensive non stick pan. When I went the shop where we bought the pan, the customer service assstant wasn’t helpful at all and was trying to find a way to void the warranty
We are totally unsatisfied and I would never recommend buying this pan
It’s waste of your time and peace of mind

Don't buy this product it's a waste of $$$$
Never again will i buy this product. Within 12 months it's stuffed. Everything sticks even after doing what sales lady suggested for care of pan. Don't waste your money on this product

Worst Pans ive used
Ive used, Scanpan, Caphalon and cheapy non-stick. These are the worst. Due to the textured surface they invarabliy gather residue from cooking which you can only get out by scrubbing, but wait, youre not allowed to scrub them, even with a green scouring pad, the surface is ruined and even with oil things like bacon just insta stick to the surface, Im glad i only bought 2 sizes and they where 50% off.

Don’t waste your money only last 6 months
I bought my bacarat rock set a year ago. The fry pans got so messed up. The first time i bought fry pan, they didnt mention that if you cook with olive oil, pan will stick. after while pan stuck like crazy. We took back then they said dont use olive oil when cooking. Excuse but if i cant use olive oil( healthies oil), why bother? Wish they would have told me when i bought whole set. Now im on my 3rd bacarat frying pan and im done. They said it lasts a lifetime.
No way 6 months tops. Never again.

Left undecided
I brought 2 frypans & 1 grill pan for the holiday house which has an induction cooktop, the sales woman highly recommended these fry pans. I have only used the larger fry pan & grill pan once & although I am happy with the non stick & quality of the pans it took me 30 minutes on high to cook some french toast, which normally only takes a couple of minutes each side, & the sausages in the grill pan took 40 minutes, but there was no smoke & splatter which was good. I will take one home & give it a go on my gas cooktop to see if that cooks any quicker, so reserving my final opinion at the moment.

Finally a non-stick pan that works!
I’ve lost count of how many non-stick skillets I’ve gone through over the years; from expensive brands like Analon to the ones they promote on TV such as Danoz. They all work for a while then they lose their non-stick properties. That was until I received a set of Baccarat Rock skillets for Father’s Day. These pans are as effective as the day they were first used, which was September 2017. No matter what type of food is cooked, it just slides out of the pan when you’re done. That’s all you can ask for - a product that does what it says after multiple uses. Very reasonably priced too.

Best non stick cookware I had so far
After trying out a number of different non-stick cookware,I was looking for some thing without any Teflon coating and I found the baccarat rock range.been using for more than 6 months and it's as good as new.easy to clean and requires very less oil.
Though they are a bit expensive but good to get during some deal going around the year..

The base is warped and doesn't heat up properly on induction cooktop
The fry pan cleans well and the non stick works as it should but,
the base of the fry pan has warped through normal use to the point it spins like a childs top on the cook top and the induction process doesn't work.
Very disappointing

Easy to use and wash
This is a nice cooking pan. Generally non stick but don't expect to get really cracking hot effect like the carbon steel or stainless steel pan or wok typical in oriental stir fry. It's good for stewing or braising.

Failure of product and warranty
Bought a 28cm & 20cm rock coated pans.
Never cleaned with more than detergent and a soft cloth. Coating has degraded to the point of food now sticking.
No warranty. Consumer Affairs a joke.
Avoid baccarat like the plague.

We have a baccarat stone pan from a set of 3 fry pans . Not long after using them we noticed the handles were loose. I was unable to tighten the handles and it's about to fall off because of wear between the chrome fitting and the alloy pan itself. We have not been able to get any assistance with replacement as all the shops want a receipt. If the pans are garentee for life then a reciept should not be needed. I would appreciate some guidance with this issue as it not an isolated incident.

I recently returned a set of non stick pans that started sticking. The shop would not accept them as we had used extra virgin olive oil, even though the guarantee says nothing about avoiding this. There is a reply paid address on the warranty section of the baccarat website so I sent my set to that. I did have my receipt though so can’t help you with that. Have not yet had a reply from them. Good luck.
I would imagine that you are flat out of luck. The pan in out set that hasn’t fallen to bits needs tightened up with a Phillips head screw driver once a week. I would not hold my breath in relation to any help based on my experience with the “ life time guarantee “ seems if you have used the pan for cooking then it’d all a bit hard for them. Go to Coles or Target and get a $20 pan it will do the job just as well
I'll never bye Baccarat again regardless of what I'm buying. You buy a brand because they are surposed to be the best but you soon realise that it's just crap like all the other cheap store bought produce that's available.
