My washing machine has stopped working. The display panel lights up and I press start but nothing happens. I have had the machine for 3 years, I was washing towels today and for some reason it threw a fuse in the power box mid cycle. I have switched it back on but now I have the above problem. Is there a re set button combo I could try like in other models? Mine is the WMY7046LB2.
Thank you.

Hi Milly I had my machine for 18 months. Ever since I bought it I had issues. It was shattering, and leaking as well.
They sent a technician and he said I may put too much washing powder. I reduced the amount of washing powder I use. Still it was shattering. He came back and said the floor is not leveled. He took the machine and tested for few days came back and said no fault found. He used my own rubber mat to put underneath and said he would come back with rubber foot year ago. I'm still waiting. In the mean time I made a complaint someone from Beko called me but they didn't help. He said im doing something wrong. The only reason they called me, on the feed back it says if they don't get back to me within two business days the feedback goes on public.
My machine is still leaking and shattering after following all the troubleshooting they provided me.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BRAND TO ANY ONE.
Milly Please raise a complaint although it 3 years old, it should be covered under ACL.
Good Luck

Hi Milly, sounds similar to what ours was doing. Seemed like the machine wasn't recognising that the door was closed and that it could now start. Sent it in expecting them to say we need a new door lock instead got told it was the PC board and main board quoting us $495. It was also just on 3 years old. Beko didn't respond on product review at all. Betta just told me it was out of warranty. Counted our losses and bought a secondhand Samsung. Best decision ever! So much quieter and works great.
Didn't realize how flimsy and loud the Beko was until replacing with a Samsung

My washing machine has stopped working midway through a cycle. The power box threw a fuse. I have switched it back on and the machine lights up on the display panel but won't actually start. Is there a re set trick or something I can try. Troubleshooting guide in manual didn't mention anything.
Thanks

What speed does the machine spin dry the load at following the 28 minute Daily Quick wash?

Curious question. 1200.
I think you can change it though. I'm not sure.
My machine broke after 4 years. Even after one motor replacement.

What programme would i use to wash light terylene curtains?

Hi Shez. I have attached their manual so hopefully this will answer your question. https://www.beko.com.au/media/documents/BekoWMB71231LAUserManual.pdf
Thank you for your kind help. The manual was very helpful, I used the gentle programme with no pre wash,
the curtains came out lovely..

My machine stops all the time whatever setting it is put on. I usually like Daily Quick though. Please advise?
I made a typo on the email address and now can't retrieve the information to correct it. I added a - instead of _

1) Re laundry power fills up a large capacity dispenser drawer using a sensor 2 automatically know how much 2 use: can 1 use wool wash or is one stuck with washing woollens and hand wash clothing with laundry powder?! 2) On that topic is the WM always using the fabric softer for every wash?! Apparently, it's not good to use fabric softener on towels cos it makes them more water resistant (which makes it less able to dry one's body or hair). I think vinegar might soften but not sure if the smell goes or is mild. Personally I don't like the thought of vinegar on my towels unless it makes me a salad.

Depends on the washer model
I bought the 7046 model which has no frills- all powder put in used in the wash and all softener put in used during the rinse as managed by the board program applying water to each compartment. .if you dont add softener, then there is none used at rinse time.

Drum not spinning. Any help?
Where am I meant to put fabric softener (like vanish powder)!? I don't want to have to use such a long cycle just for the prewash option but it's not dissolving directly in the drum and I don't want to add it to my liquid detergent in case it clumps

There is a drawn design in the manual that will tell you which section is for which detergent/option (ie. 1 is main wash, 2 is pre-wash and 3 is fabric softner for my machine). I removed the insert/filter that was in the main wash section because it was causing clumps and washing ineffectively. Now it gets every particle of detergent from the drawer section (main wash) and I cleans very effectively. Hope this was insightful for you.
Thank you. This was meant to stay stain remover lol. I now just throw it in the machine and bump the temperature to 40ºC, as otherwise it doesn't dissolve fully :)

My clothes are getting ruined in the wash! They all seem really hard, towels and sock are loosing their softness..even if I use the handwash option! What is the best cycle for towels?

Have you tried adding fabric softener?
I suggest you contact BEKO directly and get an answer
Instead of fabric softener I would add some washing soda and also it depends on your water quality. Rainwater is always a good option if available.

Considering purchasing the bek wmy7046lb2 which will be my first front loader however there is nothing in the specs or manuals to advise the washing times. I have looked everywhere including Beko website. I would hate to have a machines that takes 3 1/2 hours which some do. Can anyone help me?

Each washing/rinsing option has its own timing, which will show up on the machine screen once an option is selected; timings can range from an rinse only option(19 minutes) to cotton(3hours15minutes), a quick daily wash(light) only need 28 minutes. I've been using a combination of pre-wash (15min) in the Cotton options + daily quick + rinse only, using a total of about an hour.
Best wash- auto cycle
