It's a Washing Machine & It works..
I normally go for the high end products but bought this to keep the husband happy with the cost.
It is quiet.
Washes the clothes well. Clothes are not worn by using this machine.
No chime/sound to let you know the load has finished, and seeing our laundry is downstairs that is a feature that I would like.
Sometimes I have to make sure that the start button is pressed hard to make sure it starts.. as we have had times where we have pressed start & the machine hasn't actually started.. it is not a soft touch button...
It is not a washing machine that I would recommend to someone.
So far it has not given us any grief in any way of break downs... but next time I'll be going for a higher end machine.

It's easy to use
The most straightforward washing machine iv'e ever had, it's so nice being able to see how long cycles and such will last, it only really has 2 downsides, 1 being that since it's a front loader you can't open it mid-cycle, but that's just inherent, the second being that it can take a minute or two to start sometimes, which is annoying when you're not sure if it's actually begun.

Great washing machine
This is my first front loader, and it is great! Easy to use, Thales a large load (full set of King sheets easily) the cothes come out clean, can use got or cold water, lots of settings and wash lengths. The washer is quiet and I would recommend this machine to anyone.

Easy
We recently brought this new washing machine. I can say it cleans our clothing so well whites seem whiter and use's little water and power. I love the quick 14 minute wash when in a hurry. It's very quite you have to keep a eye out as it doesn't finish with any sound. So I forget sometimes. But I love it

Great machine
I didn’t want a front loader because of back problems. Our old one died and my husband bought this but I wasn’t happy. But after using it for a few months, my opinion is changed. My mother is law’s expensive machine from another brand is horrible. Clothes come out actually dirty. But my machine cleans the clothes like they are new. Amazing results. I have also heard that the top loader washing machines ruin clothes and the front loaders don’t. I guess that’s true.

Decent quality machine
Bought this as a replacement for an older machine that started to give after 5 years. This hasn't missed a beat and gets used 5 - 10 times a week (big household), and well worth the price. I was hesitant about buying the brand Beko, but as far hasn't been any reason not to trust it.

Very Good quality product at a good value price!
Machine washes fantastically for the the price. It has an extremely quiet inverter motor that accurately adjusts wash speeds according to the program selected. There are more wash options than you can poke a stick at, to which you only end up using about 4 of the 16 wash options realistically, however you may need to study up a little to find the right wash cycle that best suits you, as these cycles are not like the ones we are used to from previous generation washers, they are quiet specific. But once you worked out the cycles, it's a set ...Read more
and forget. There is a quick cycle button that speeds up most of the cycles for those with busy lifestyles by reducing the preselected cycle time by 20% with virtually the same results ( providing your clothes are not heavily soiled). It does also feature a genuine Wool cycle endorsed by the Australian Wool association, a feature not found on many similar machines. It has an adjustable spin speed of up to 1400 rpm which is more than enough for an excellent drying result. The Beko washers are genuinely manufactured in their own factory of origin in Turkey, not somewhere else outsourced like most other brands have now done. Energy rating is reasonably average for this price point, still a huge improvement if migrating from a top loader washer. As with the warranty being 2 years parts and Labour and 10 year guarantee on the motor. Beko are now manufacturing machines for other brands under license, and is rated as the second largest washing machine manufacturer in Europe behind BOSCH. Overall value for money is excellent, with overall quality as good, overall wash result very good, overall energy rating ( for comparative front loaders ) as average. Overall opinion is: Excellent choice for buyers on a budget offering value for money with good to very good quality & wash result. They are well established in the Australian market place. Cannot go wrong with this machine!!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

good wash, unfortunately major fault
My beko machine has a good choice of washing cycles, even a short cycle which still gets my clothes clean. It also has a pet hair removal system and is good on water consumption, and pretty quiet. Unfortunately at just 18 months old it had a catastrophic fault when the counterweight broke, as it was still under a 2 year warranty Beko have replaced my machine with a new one, and my warranty begins again, I can honestly say the after sales service was excellent.

Great machine, incredible price!
Bought it at JB HI-FI during a sale for $584. I chose this machine based on size and wash cycle times. I do 2-3 loads a day so needed a short cycle without compromising wash quality. Very happy after 2 months, tried a few other cycles as well and so far it has been great, uses little water!

Thought I'd make a change to type of machine and glad I did!
I bought my Beko while on promotion and at first was overwhelmed by the different operation and controls to my previous top-loaders, but eventually came to really like it. It is fairly quiet but sometimes can spin a bit loudly. It is amazingly soap-efficient - in fact I use truly about a quarter of what I've used with all of my other washing machines - very economical on soap and also on water. At first I found it hard to accept just how little soap powder or fluid is needed and I had to keep running the rinse and spin function to get rid of...Read more
it, but have now adjusted to its needs. The only thing I don't like about front loaders is that you can't open the door to add further clothes once the cycle has started! I had some initial slight issues with the door refusing to open after the wash completed but a maintenance guy came out and replaced the door. Service Department are very understanding at Beko also, and I found they will do what they can to help if and when there's an issue. I haven't yet used all features on the Beko, but I'm happy so far.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Quiet...works well
Very quiet couldn't believe it. After noisy top loader.
Runs well did 12 loads in 2 days never missed a beat
Clothes clean well even with small amount of laundry powder or liquid
Good range of cycles
Only complaint is towels are rough which is apparently common in front loader
Has short cycle and variety of wash cycles

Absolutely love it!
After having a secondhand top loader for 10 months and hating it because it would hardly clean anything (and the lint collector hardly worked!) I finally bought this front loader and I absolutely love it! I used a 7kg one a few months ago at a friends house and I looked into one after loving the efficiency of it. I bought this 8kg one and I'm never going back to a top-loader again!
I use cloth nappies for my child and it gets them so clean! I love that it takes less time to get a high quality wash as compared to twice that when using a top-...Read more
loader. I especially love the 90°C option that I use on dirty towels and bedding! The highest spin speed really helps get rid of any excess water and I could honestly go on and on about this amazing washing machine. The only thing I don't like about it is that it has only one water inlet (cold) and even with a 4 star energy rating it is very electricity hungry and causes my house's fuse to overload if I have it on at the same time as my oven.Similar opinion? Wife punishes this and keeps going.
Washes and spin dries fantastic.
It does around 10 to 15 load a week and doesn't miss a beat.
I never used Beko before but now I think if their other products are half as good them I will give them a try.
I believe their washing machines are made in Turkey(Europe).
Very happy Customer

Good where it matters - quiet, good price and looks smart
Amazing! So quiet! But a bit of a mixed bag this one. Done settings are elite- couldn't ask for better. Like cottons and cottons eco. Daily 28 is amazing and so efficient. Some others like sportswear clean is really poor. Same with Mix 40 40. Basically this machine has lots of wag cycle options. Basically the traditional 3 or 4 cycle options are fantastic. The remains wash cycle options may looks impressive but aren't worth the go. For show really. Which is fine, given the price is very reasonable. If I had paid more for this machine I wouldn't...Read more
be satisfied. But like I said it's very competitively priced, so I have no major issue with the product boasting elite cycle options, but really only built for the 3 or 4 standard cycle washes that come with every washing machine. Hey, maybe it's a process of feedback and refinement. Hope so, but hope the price doesn't go up as a result! We wanted medium range trust Bosch, but couldn't afford for our first home. I am somewhat obsessive with washings and do 2-3 loads a day easily (all on eco settings of course!) Given we were dreaming with our Bosch wishlist, this washing machine actually came up trumps as a more cost effective options for furnishing our first home. Plus, I was a die hard top loader fan. But this Beko front loader has been great so far (purchased about 4 months ago). Good buy all in all.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Extremely dissapointing
I would like to be able to say I love this machine, but I can't. It isn't all bad though as it does have some good points. Firstly, it's quiet, even when spinning, in fact the only noise you hear is the water sloshing on the door. It also has a large bowl, and by far it's best feature is the very wide door which opens 180c enabling blankets and doonas placed easily inside, and it spins so well with clothes being almost dry, but that's it. On the other hand it is so sloooow with cottons taking up to 3 hours and 17 minutes and eco cotton 2 ho...Read more
urs and 20 minutes, so in a 7 hour day you would only get 2 loads washed. I also found it doesn't wash so well with one lightly soiled item having to go back for another wash. I found half the detergent left after one load, so if only half is being used the washing won't be clean. And would you believe it does not tell you when it has finished, and even worse, if you don't attend to it immediately it turns itself off, and as I had gone out and returned expecting the load to have finished, when I found the machine turned off I thought I might be suffering dementia and forgotten to turn the rotten thing on, however after reading the book I found out about that little trick. I bought it to match my beko dryer but it doesn't even do that as the dryer is nothing like it with the word beko written differently. One hopes that with each new product it will make your life easier, but this sure hasn't. I have to fiddle to get the time manageable then the temperature and spinning speed becasue I want to get all my washing done in one day and not stretched out over a week. By far the hardest fault to deal with for me is the lack of a finished signal, I hate not having one. In 2017 I'm having to set my kitchen timer to tell me when the washing is likely to be finished. I wish you could find these things out before you buy a washing machine, but here I am stuck with it now. So if you are like me with 4 or 5 loads of washing and want it all done the same day DO NOT buy this machine becasue it's not for you!2 comments

we had a few changes of clothes each day. I started washing on the Friday and did the last 2 loads on Monday. What a pain! As it was still leaving detergent behind I rang for a service call. They had no idea when someone would come so I waited, and waited and 7 days later phoned to say no-one had come. I was told "but you didn't tell us no-one had come". Was I supposed to check-in every day? It was agreed someone would come in 7 days time but would you believe the next time I used the machine it used all the detergent. So I cancelled the service call. It's a bit hit and miss sometimes taking it all but leaving some other times. The last time I was in Bing Lee I looked at the washing machines and there was not sign of my model so it looks as though it is no longer made No call to tell me it's finished is by far the worst feature but having dealt with Beko I feel if you had a problem you would be out on a limb becasue I don't think they would be one bit helpful. I don't like either the machine or Beko.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

I only write what I don't like
I use it for 2 years, so far so good. What I found:
1. Very noisy compare with all machines that I had used in my life. No matter how I adjusted those legs, the bigger load the sharper vibration.
2. Buttons on the front panel don't feel good, I have to physically stay there until it works properly. I don't think I could manage it if i'm blind
3. Remember keep the machine dry by opening the door after run, in order to get better ventilation, I usually pull the detergent dispenser out a bit to let the machine breathe
Overall it's a good value one

will it wash a queen size doona

BekoBeko
Hi Vivien W. It will wash a queen size doona however the performance of the wash will be dependant on the thickness of the doona and the wash cycle you select, we would recommend using the Bedding & Blanket cycle. We usually recommend that you should have enough room to fit a hand span between the items in the washing machine and the top of the bowl to get a good quality wash performance. Thanks Beko.

s with not all the detergent being used during the wash, and I have read the book backwards and forwards and it only mentions using too much which I certainly am not. I have tired the pet hair removal setting but have no idea whether it works or not because when I press the button the icon flashes for a second and as all the other lights remain on I am left to believe it isn't working. Who designed this machine? I would love to know because they certainly didn't consult anyone who does the weekly washing. It could have been a rocket scientist which would make sense because this machine is not of this world.
