Disappointed
Paid $1400 and was so excited. Took 4 hours to cook a roast, and the crackling was still soft???? Stovetop is fine, and it looks quite nice but even on the highest heat with fan force on, it doesn’t get hot enough. I am so upset as now I am stuck with it as can’t really afford a new one. I am going to try another roast and also a couple of cakes, but from what I’ve seen so far it’s just rubbish.

The operating pressure is 2.75. I had it done by a licensed gas fitter.

This makes cooking fun
Natural gas is not available,this is the next best, can't believe we waited so long to get this stove,cooking is a breeze,so quick and the double oven is fantastic.easy to adjust the flame and the food is cooked quicker,the stove to is easy to wipe clean and the cut off mechanism when you lower the lid is wonderful

Worst service ever.
This unit cost $1,800 and like others thought we were buying above standard. While the cooktop is fine we have had nothing but problems with the main oven. Add to this the service dept. tried to blame us or the installer for all the problems it means this stove is a lemon. The first problem was the oven making popping noises. The service dept. tried to blame the installer, then they sent the wrong part and after many phone calls and 2mths we got it fixed. you couldn't leave the stove for fear of it going out. Again many phone calls and again the wrong parts sent, twice this time, which we were charged freight for and have not been reimbursed. So the oven finally gets fixed over 3mths later and a week after that the oven is still going out. Service is the wrong word as with other reviewers we have got nothing but rudeness and denial from the company dealing with this product.5 comments

problems. The wrong parts were sent twice last time which you won't let them return and have still charged for the parts and the freight. They have the emails to prove they asked for the right part and you have denied this. We have been to Fair Trading and will be taking this further.Candice C.Belling

nt that we will no allow the agent to return the spare parts. We do not have a 'no returns' policy on spare parts issued in error and so I would very much like to speak with the agent in question to follow up on this issue. Obviously, without more details, I am not able to investigate further which, and it would appear that in this instance we need to do. It is of course your prerogative to escalate as you see fit, however, I would very much prefer to be able to resolve directly if possible. Absolute Garbage - Shame BELLING and Glen Dimplex Australia
1 star only because the review requires the field to be used. We have this unit only in a L.P. version. Everything Kim and Chris have said has been our exact experience, right down to the attitude of Glen Dimplex Australia and their service agent Gas Care. (what a misleading name for them).

ch takes 30 minutes, it still won't create crackling. 3 hours of cooking at 200+ and the skin simply remains fatty and soft. We grew up in Melbourne with natural gas and have been in Hobart 35 yrs using a Chef gas unit that was brilliant, didn't know the difference from Victorian natural gas cooking, when we thought we'd earned an upgrade we bought this on recommendation of Harvey Norman staff, it looks great in black, shame it won't boil water without a lid on the saucepan and the oven is as outlined. Piece of junk, warning do not buy one of these. We are so frustrated that we're now shopping for a decent gas range and it won't be anything with a Belling badge.Similar opinion? Assuming that your appliance is a relatively new installation, and that you have had the same issue from day one, I would ask that you confirm the operating gas pressure ie.. what kpa measurement is listed on your Compliance Certificate issued by your installing plumber. Once you have this information, please contact our After Sales team to discuss further as appropriate: 1800 444 357Please note that by far the most common cause of the oven not performing in an acceptable (or expected) fashion is an incorrect gas pressure set at time of installation.
