Deep Oven pan and Americam spare ribs
Hi
Recently we were purchasing another pot thru our distributor, we were asked how it's going, etc, I explain that I had started cooking and was loving it, so I was ask if I would write a review. Answer Yes, and here it is.
My wife has had Bessemer for years. Every year or two she buys another piece. (She Loves it).
Recently I started cooking, 'Dad the want-a-be chef'.
My favourite recipe is 'American Spare ribs in hickory sauce'. These I cook in the Deep Oven Pan (The Beast) it's big. I can fit three full racks of ribs in the pan. The end result is fantastic tender meat falling off the bone in a home-made hickory sauce, WOW!

What I don't like is the wife's rules, you make the mess you clean it. ps. I do get help. Cleaning is one of the great things about the cookware, the non-stick coating is SOOOO easy to clean, just wipe it out, generally no scrubbing. I have read some bad comments about the non-stick. We own about 10+ pieces, some get used every day, I can be a bit rough on them too, I have even used metal utensils that's a NO NO, My wife is not happy! So, yes the non-stick can wear out, I accept this as part of using non-stick. BUT, You get easy cooking and cleaning for the trade. One of my pieces had a problem, Bessemer exchanged it no problems. Another I scratched, that I had to trade-in for a brand new piece for a good price ~ 40% off I think. Some of our pieces are now over 20 years old and counting. The non-stick still looks great. Others are showing there wear and tear. I love cooking and I hate cleaning, so we use Bessemer, I accept that they do eventually wear out. BUT if you don’t mind sticking food and scrubbing pots then go an buy cast-iron or stainless steel, but good luck, I have been there and the cleaning is crap! Like any thing that has a painted surface, it is not going to last for ever, you buy a car the paint gets old with wear and tear and age, go and see if you can get it replaced. I/We have tried other cookware both non-stick and cast/stainless steel. they have their place. But we find Bessemer is great for both cooking and ease of cleaning. The ribs and sauce take about 15 minutes to prepare and the cooking time about 3 hours. Dad the want-a-be Chef

Hahahahaha far from perfect
I have owned a Bessemer Wok, and a large 300cms cassarole with lid, not used for the last years as the Teffelon has peeled out .They would not redo the surface and take responsibility .
Its the biggest joke for the price however its easy to fool the masses as most are people conformist and they are fully aware of it .

It may be 20 years old. Aluminium doesn't rust although it can corrode. Non stick coatings can be burnt, cut or worn off over time. It needs to be inspected before we can determine whether the damage ... Read more

I used my oven dish for the base of steaming a fish but didn't realise that it ran out of water, now there is a large water stain on the teflon. Is there any way to remove it because I love this peice of cookware, it makes the best crispy baked potatoes.

Yes all bessemer cookware can be used in the oven. The oven temperature should not exceed 200 degrees.
