I purchased this cleaner about a year ago so have had ample opportunity to give it a work-out. We have a long-haired dog so the carpets need more regular cleaning and this machine certainly does the job. It comes with an upholstery/spot cleaning attachment as well, so if you have fabric covered chairs, this appliance would certainly help to keep your furniture smelling fresh and clean.

I think after two uses its time to give this machine the big thumbs up.
Yes its a once a year usage, spring clean, but in my case, a summer clean as the hot weather is the right time.
Its small head size is not an issue,, for a standard 4 x 2 home or smaller, about right.

Its easy to use, and the instructions are clear enough, cleaning easy.

Agree with previous reviewer, first 2 times I used it it worked well, then I noticed it was not removing water from the carpet very well so I measured the water in the dirty water tank, it had only drawn out 870mls but the water tank put 2 litres of water into my carpet.
Phoned Bissell and they told me it should draw out 80 percent of the water and had me send it back.
