Worked for nausea

published

I found these by accident at the supermarket and as I had had nausea for days on end was desperate for anything that might work so purchased them thinking they probably wouldn't help.
I followed the packets dosage and they worked perfectly for me which was a massive relief.
I was not taking them for travel so I can't comment on whether they would work for that, but if you've tried all the usual remedies for nausea with nothing working, than definitely try these!

Used for reflux and nausea

published

I have used ginger tablets for several years as a natural remedy for my reflux problems. I also use them if I have over indulged and have a wind problem. When I'm travelling (boat and plane) I take three tablets about one hour before and I don't have a motion sickness issue. All my life I have experienced travel sickness, even as a car and bus passenger, so when I found the Blackmores ginger tablets worked I was extremely happy. I found that if I take the tablets too late (ie. just before I get on the plane) they have little effect.

Useless!

This might work for people who don't really get motion sick. For the rest of us poor souls who truly get motion sick, don't bother. I didn't even use them on the water, I used them for car sickness, and although I took them exactly as prescribed, they didn't make one jot of difference for me. Save your money!

OK

I purchassed these for my child when going on his first plane trip and cruise as a just in case. I was not sure if he would get sick or not. They made him throw up but it is possible that he was sensitive to the giner in the formulation! I ended up using them myself as we sailed through a very heavy typhoon. For me I found them to be great. They settled my stomach and stopped that dizzy feeling. I found that they were reasonably priced and well packed.
They were good for me on a large cruise ship!
They made my child throw up.
