Great for heavy mixing work and it's stylish
Perfect for heavy mixing like bread and pizza dough. Looks great. I got the red model. Was very reasonable as I got it from an online sale. Still going strong after a few years. Don't really use it for whipping eggs etc as it's more of a heavy duty work-horse.

Impressed .
Looked for months for a stand mixer . Did look at other reviews on other stand mixers .I know it was new to market decided to give Bodum Bistro stand mixer l decided on.I am impressed l make bread dough every day .Whip eggs .Cake mixers heavy & light .No complaints .But one suggestion scrapper option would be good also .

Stylish and easy to use
As soon as you whip it out of the box it's clear this thing is gonna make the kitchen look better. And it certainly does. It also makes me look like a better cook/baker than I really am, which I appreciate. It is very easy to use and I've found it handy for traditional uses like baking cakes but also for things like mashed potatoes.

Would like to know from those who've had the Bodum Planetary Mixer for some time, how its performing and any issues? As there's not many reviews or comments about this mixer out there. Cheers.

I have one. I use it for heavy mixing (bread dough, pizza dough etc) and it has been going well. It's not really suited for things like whisking a small amount of egg whites etc,, but great for heavy work.
