Long lasting and comfortable

I bought mine 2nd handed and kept using it for close to a year so far. Perfect for light use especially when quick impact function needed yet not too much power to damage tiny screws.
Very comfort handling and runs smooth and quiet. The ring LED keeps minimum shadow which is a high light. Relatively long with today's view - it's longer than most of latest 18v impact drivers in the market. That only becomes to a problem once for me but I get other tools.
Lately it started to develop sparks in the motor and I found out it's because motor brushe

... Read mores are run out. At least it proves how well this tool can last through years of constant use of the previous user (I paid close to nothing for it. He told me it was used in a factory) as it takes long time for brushes to worn out especially for a small tool. Most of tools have no chance to last till brush replacement. Sadly it's impossible to replace it's RS550-VC 8518 motor brushes without damaging the motor housing - so I bought a new one from eBay for around AUD 12.00. Removing the 15 teeth gear from old motor and mounting to the new motor is a bit challenge but otherwise very easy. Now it works like new again!

Great driver except for a dead battery out of the box

Can't fault the driver works a charm came with two lithium ion batteries. Unfortunately one of them was dead straight out of the box.
Contacted Bosch who put me onto service agent who was closed over Christmas break. She I did go he says sorry I'm service agent you need a warranty agent. Only one is in Mandurah which is miles away from me.
Contacted Bosch again and again with no reply. I guess a product is only as good as it's warranty and in this case pretty disappointing.
