My little princess is gone

published

Gave her bravecto, she became listless, not eating, spewing up yellow froth in 1 week.Took her to vet and they gave tablets and antibiotics, said it might be infection. She was losing weight fast so less than week later returned. She was put on a drip and xrayed. They said she might have swallowed something and would operate after blood test. So 24 hrs later her kidneys were so bad they couldn't operate and advised us to euthanize. when I said could it be bravecto they ignored me.Miss my little princess, she was 1 day off her 1st birthday. We only had her for 6 months bought off a lady that had no time for her.RIP little Ruby.

DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT

published

I gave my healthy dog this product as the vet recommended it. After giving it she started getting bouts of Diarreoah and was acting funny. She got severe allergies and then came the seizures. They got so bad that we almost lost her. We decided to Detox her and after almost 9 months she began to come clean. She didn't have another seizure. We will never use this product again. It almost killed our beautiful dog.
This POISON should never have been approved and should be banned.

Bravecto almost killed my dog liver damage

published

24 hours after forcing my dog to eat the tablet he began shaking. He also could not keep food or water down. I took him to the vet. Diagnostic studies revealed highly elevated liver values at over 1500. After a week and a half of antibiotic and liver medicine therapy as well as trying a variety of foods he finally showed some signs of recovery. He no doubt has permanent liver damage, but at least is still alive. Skinny as heck but alive.

Horrible

My husband bought this from the vet he said it was guaranteed it did not work on my dog she has scratched her little body until it is red and bleeding I need something that works I am scared to give her anything else she only weighs 8 pounds but she needs something that works.

Avoid!

published

Gave my dog seizures, he finally quit having these after about a year. The vet didn’t believe me, but he had never had issues before. He’s healthy now, and I’m lucky! A lot of dogs have died from this nasty stuff.

I gave it to my Shih Tsu and she started it itch. She was going out of her mind scratching her back on the floor or against anything. Went to the Vet and had to put her on prednisone and benidrill and it has taken almost 3 months to get it out of her system.

Gave this to my little 12 year old dog
She has never been to the vets for anything but her injections .has always had so much life in her till the day she was given bravecto..hours after Taking it she was hiding under the bed then the shakes started and she was very lethargic ..
After 2 days she seemed to be feeling better but now she has bloody diarrhea and the shakes again..looks like she is on death row..
Stay away from this product..

It is ok!!!

published

We were talked into this by our vet and were very dubious about using it by some of the reviews I had read, as our vet said I use it on my own 2 dogs with no problems and it is much better than advacate as if they roll in fox poo and need a bath it washes out and needs to be reapplied, so we gave it a go with no problems, it is a little expensive at over £30 tablet but only have to give it once every 3 months so all ok here in the UK.

DONT use it...ever

published

I gave it to our 4 small dogs, all ended up with vomiting and diarrhoea. One ended up with pancreatitis and ongoing irritable bowel and has stomach issues now. One had seizures and the other 2 continual sickness. Terrible stuff. Did kill the fleas which were terrible at the time, but almost killed the dogs too. Not worth it.

I think my dig dying

I went to the vet on 7_7_17.she went for a eye infection. Because ive been fighting fleas for 5 months i agreed to bravecto. I gave her it about 5 in the afternoon. The next morning i went to her and i thought she was dead. Could not get hold of any vet all weekend. So i administered gluecous and water. I took her to the vet who told me she has had a stroke. This was a spritely healthy dog when i took her. Telling me shes had a stroke and it was just a coincidence. They advised me to put her to sleep.i walked out. Before i did someone damage. ive brought her home. I will try myself with her and see if i can get her right. Ive also been trying to get in touch with the actual company. Devasted is not the word.

DONT GIVE THIS TO YOUR DOG

published

I am not the type to write reviews however after my experience this for the past couple of weeks I had to voice something. My dog was given and recommended this med from my vet to solve a small flea problem she ended up with stroke like symptoms for weeks. To hear your pet screaming and crying is the most distressing to experience. They need to pull this product off the market immediately. It almost killed my dog. Be warned

Bravecto Very Small (For Dogs 2 - 4.5kg)

Has anyone ever received Bravecto... in the standard packaging, but it was shipped from CHINA?? I placed the order in Canada. Seems strange to me! And now my dog Maltese, under 8 lbs ( under 3.5 kg), is not well— seems shaky at times, walks MUCH slower than normal, I wonder if she’s in pain, but not sure— although these symptoms did not start immediately after giving Bravecto. I’d appreciate feedback!

Our dog, also small, developed similar symptoms 12 hours after taking Bravecto.Clearly in pain etc.I believe there is neurotoxocity at work here! the vet took blood for liver and kidney function, all good. The dog is now on NSAIDS and Robaxin, almost for 2 month.I am hoping that after 3 month the toxicity of the drug will be out of her system.
