Had my E190 Breezeair installed in 2009, so I have had a reasonable run with it ...serviced it meticulously annually. Pump was replaced under warranty. The fan has stopped working now (right at the beginning of 2020/2021 summer) and my written and phone requests for service have gone unanswered for 37 days now...which does not surprise me as I also had a ducted heater installed at the same time as the aircond and when it died it took a month and a genuine threat to refer the matter to consumer affairs to get a response. So now I have spent my ...
Read more$15 grand I still get no service...consequently, I will not be a Seely customer again. My main gripe obviously is about the lousy service. Both units work fine when they work, but service to me is just as important and Seely clearly know how to sell things but go missing when service is required. Therefore, make your own judgement!

We have had the EXH 190 model for nearly 12 years and have never had a problem. The unit performs well and is very reliable. Unlike every other household appliance.

Purchased our unit in 2011 cost $4650. Had to replace the control board in 2016 at our cost. Almost $1000!! Not happy the warranty period had expired, This week the solenoid went. This time we sourced and replaced the part. Cost $35. Very disappointed with the reliability of this unit will never purchase another Breezair product again. When it works it cools beautifully but it is too unreliable.
Purchased in for $4,650.

Hello Andos
Disappointing to hear that you have had these two problems in the eight years of ownership. We pride ourselves on the reliability of our products assuming that the unit has been maintained...

I purchased a Seeley Breezair Evaporative cooler was installed 14/12/09 paid nearly $5000. It has stopped working and I have had service technicians inform that it could be the control box or the fan which at the moment is hard to find which one is at fault, either one is extremely expensive to replace .For the cost of the unit I believe I have not had a reasonable use as it would only have been run 10-15 times a year. If I decide to replace the unit it will definitely not be with another Seeley product as I believe they are not value for money. I will be informing any of my friends if they are looking to purchase one of these models that they will be very disappointed in the long run.

I love the quietness, I love the freshness of evaporated and was thrilled with our installation however it didn't quite make the life span that I would regard as sufficient. The unit we had installed ran 24/7 for weeks on end over summer and kept our home nice chilled. Yes chilled. Throws on the sofa were always used in summer but hey that's what girl's do. In the last 2 seasons it died a slow death bits at a time. Solenoid, pump, control box, pads and all of this adds up. It maybe cheap to run but these other costs must be taken into account. ...
Read moreI think realistically if you allow a full unit replacement after 7-8 years and budget for it then your family funds won't be hit so hard. It still hurts and insurance went some of the way to help pay for it but our out of pocket costs, I feel, were very uncomfortable and embarrassing. The drum fan is hard to beat regarding quietness. When the unit started to fail we called the company that sold and installed it originally to replace pads and take out control box so it ran as a manual unit. The "control box" was failing so this fixed it but it was only for months. This whole story is boring and and should not be part of my life or your life however this is the age of planned redundancy so maybe look at alternative product that is big in size but cheaper in price offering a 10year warranty. There are many different brands around that still work well after 10years. Breezeair was recommended to us but we offer caution to future purchasers. Remember the model number can change to keep ahead of complaints. So now we have a brand new unit installed (thanks sgic, wife and me working) and it's awesome after a week. The guys who installed our original unit also installed our replacement unit. My expectations of this company were also shattered as since they recently installed new pads into the old unit I guess they have kept them for another sale pocketing cash at our expense. The new unit cost about $4000 which is close to the original price which included 7 outlet ducting. The new unit comes with a 7 year warranty so it seems pretty close to the expiry date of the original unit. Breezeair beware!- Date Purchased

They are the quietest around, i hear neighbours when they turn their noisy bonaire on.. standing outside breezair is simply the quietest as stated to be so..
Very low water use is a added bonus.
very powerful and nice wireless remote came with it. warranty also great, as they sit on the roof, you should really go for the quietest unfort builders go for the cheapest noisy options and on a hot day its loud when everyone turns theirs on.
