Terrible company
I have to say that I don't own this product. I wouldn't buy anything from this company even if they had sold it for a dollar. The company that treats workers like slaves from the American South in 19 century.

Costly Maintenance
I have owned two of these units for 5 years and a month, which is just outside the warranty period of 5 years. One unit has failed. The quoted repair cost is about $1,500 for a new controller and valve. The service tech is probably better to buy a new one. This seems over priced to me.
Purchased in December 2021.

Extremely disappointing..worked during Summer evenings - lasted 5 years
Do not waste your time or good money. Stopped working, technicians could not diagnose the problem. Their answer was replace the $700 controller and if that doesn't work the motor??? Really $1800.00 repair.

Most expensive Evap unit to maintain
We had our Breezeair EGH210-G installed 9 years ago and use it frequently in the summer. Over the last two years we have had to replace two Solenoid valves @180 per piece, Drain Valve $448, Pump $550 and as of last week the Control Box $900.
This despite servicing the unit annually and replacing the pads @ $750 as directed. I would not recommend Breezeair based on my experience with this unit.
Purchased in September 2021 at Weather Wizard for A$5,800.00.

Control Box faulty
This unit is rubbish over the three years in the house we have used the cooler maybe for 2 months out of that time. Now the Control box is no good and needs replacing. The Sealy representative told us that the unit itself is not worth repairing as a new control box would cost $600 and we would have to replace the pads so buy a new system. After paying a $245 service fee to be told that it would be better to replace the unit. The unit has hardly been used, it would be similar to owning a car for 5 years and only doing 10 000kms but then being to...Read more
ld the car is no longer any good and should be replaced. This would never be acceptable. Look for a cheap unit and replace every 5 years it would cost less than buying a Breezair overpriced underperforming unit.Purchased in October 2021 for A$4,500.00.

Excellent product
We have had the EXH 190 model for nearly 12 years and have never had a problem. The unit performs well and is very reliable. Unlike every other household appliance.

Only 9 years old and the motor is blown and controller faulty
We had our EXH210 installed 9 years ago and only use it for a few months every summer. We tried to turn it on last week and nothing would work so we called our aircon tech to have a look. It turns out our motor is blown and our controller is sending erratic voltage to the motor. We are very disappointed with this system as it cost us over $5200 to install almost 9 years ago we expected to get a lot more life out of it than this. I was involved in a serious motorcycle accident last year so I'm now disabled and this is the last thing I need to deal with.
Purchased in November 2021 at Seasonmakers for A$5,270.00.

Unreliable!
Purchased our unit in 2011 cost $4650. Had to replace the control board in 2016 at our cost. Almost $1000!! Not happy the warranty period had expired, This week the solenoid went. This time we sourced and replaced the part. Cost $35. Very disappointed with the reliability of this unit will never purchase another Breezair product again. When it works it cools beautifully but it is too unreliable.
Purchased in October 2021 for A$4,650.00.

Breaks down just out of warranty - suggest you put aside $10 every time you use it for the inevitabl
I purchaed EXH210 6 years ago and have used it about 20 days / year. It worked pretty well to keep the whole house (180 sq m) to around 25 degrees when up to 40 degrees outside.
A few days ago it stopped working. 1 year out of warranty and the control board needed replacing costing $900. Incredibly the control board only comes with 12 months warranty even though I originally got 5 years warranty for the whole unit.

Ok for a few years, then breaks down all the time
I have had one for 9 years now, and every year during hot weather it breaks down, from pumps to sensors, to floats its something different every time, and costs $500.00 to fix it, I should have put in an air conditioning system, its too unreliable, and too costly to keep getting fixed. NEVER BUYING ONE AGAIN !

Don’t buy
It’s not a sound investment for your home. It will give up as soon as the warranty ends. In speaking with the technician. He has see many many units stop working because of a mother board issue just after the warranty ends. It’s a 1000 dollar replacement. Get another brand. Something that has a better lifespan.

Its the old style one, which i cleaned it myself and easy to fix...long story short...busted and replaced with 2 new Breezair EH150 and 170 5 years ago and 2 months and now its dead! Clever researchers....2 months out of warranty! Hoping they ll overlooks the 2 months but alas! ants more money from you! I wish i have bought the older type which they still using for industrial type which they dint want to....instead this fancy all automatic type....btw also u installed the 150 which still running....but the last few days give sign its dying also...instead of instant ON (a few seconds) now takes 1-2 minutes to start blowing! The 170 has been like this since installed in 2016.... [name removed] from QualityAir came and took less than 1/2 to fix the problems...seems like its the usual problems that Seeley knew and like everything else problems always happened after a day after its expired just like mine...2 months after...its where they make their money...$650 boom! [name removed] is a great guy his company installed it very professionally 5 years ago BUT its the product itself that buggered! Would I recommend Breezair? Maybe yes BUT Seeley must have a bit if leeway in their Warranty issue....especially the last 2-3 years the weather wasnt that hot and didnt use it much imagine if its has been use a full 6 months in a year...We ll have to replace the LEXTRONIX CONTROL BOX 110554 within 2 years Reason Selley didn’t give a damn is coz if 10000 consumers bought an EH 170 and only a 100 complaint they still have 9900 idiots who will buy Breezair. in this case only 24 reviews so Selley dont care about us! Not even an acknowledgement in these reviews.... at least they discontinued this model now.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Purchase through Ford & Doonan here in WA they arranged installation with all new ducting and new dropper. We were replacing an older model Breezair. The older model worked well just old and costly to repair. With new Breezair had a Magic controller fitted. Since we had it installed in October 2017 it has stopped several times. The first time for approx 2 weeks just after installation which happened to be through the Christmas period. At which time no repairs could be scheduled. After many attempts to reboot system as instructed by Ford & Doo...Read more
nan WA it just started again so no service from any company either Ford & Doonan or Seely Breezair. Since then it has done it again. The service is through an agent third party organised through Food & Doonan WA. When technician came as soon as he touch Magic controller pad it started to work. He then up on roof to check out unit and found pump had been installed wrong and as he said was trying to pump up hill not down. He noted it on service documents. Now they say as unit did not show fault I need to pay call out service fee. I have been in talks with Ford & Doonan WA and they say will call back in few minutes. What a joke unless you follow up they don"t want to know about it. If they have no intention of giving good customer service just tell you to ???off. It is becoming so frustrating I would certainly say avoid Ford & Doonan and posibly Breezair as it takes to much effort. My next steps are to go to consumer affairs or possibly through the courts as this piece of equipment is not fit for purpose. Think twice before you spend as much as $5937.00 for a head ache.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Lasted 3 months. Blew up and showered the house with shards of plastic. Yet to have it fixed but cant be good. Will see what the techs say. 35 degrees in bedroom at 9pm would be nice to enjoy our air con. Sounds like no one has had much luck with these systems

Happy with it
This unit gave me a lot of problems for the first few weeks because the timer would not operate the on/off times as set. It took a few days of phone calls, emails and sms to get this unit running correctly. Apart from that, the unit runs very well and so quiet it cannot be heard in the stillness of very late at night unless the fan is turned to a high setting. I run at a setting of 1, 2 or 3 from an available range up to 8 but have not needed higher than the 3. Even on a day of 40 degree heat.
Very pleased with my purchase and would recommend this unit for anyone looking for an evaporative cooling system.
The expected newness smell took a few days to go away.

Very Very Disappointed
I purchased a Seeley Breezair Evaporative cooler was installed 14/12/09 paid nearly $5000. It has stopped working and I have had service technicians inform that it could be the control box or the fan which at the moment is hard to find which one is at fault, either one is extremely expensive to replace .For the cost of the unit I believe I have not had a reasonable use as it would only have been run 10-15 times a year. If I decide to replace the unit it will definitely not be with another Seeley product as I believe they are not value for money. I will be informing any of my friends if they are looking to purchase one of these models that they will be very disappointed in the long run.

Set the unit in to Manual mode. If the unit has been on "Cooling" mode, just switch to "Fan Only" mode, or turn the unit off. This will dump the water in the unit.
