A lightning strike in a severe storm finished off our 9 year old Brivis with a 720W motor in February 2017. It was OK until then, a bit noisy at full output and was rated at 50% over capacity for the house but as there are a couple of rooms not used much it was decided to down size a bit on replacing it. he house so very convenient when watching TV and deciding it's too cool or not cool enough. It's showing up as 23C in the entrance hall compared to 36C out side and not feeling that humid. We live a kilometer inland from the coast and get sea breezes so it is not as challenging as most sites for a unit to cool our double brick house which has an off-white heat reflective roof. There are a multitude of models to choose from but I think simple and replace after 8 to 10 years is probably better than a more complex heavier one that is under worked and has more expensive parts as technology does improve over time. If we were further inland and not subject to sea breezes we would have gone for the 750W version more than likely. Bonaire Summer Breeze® – The Value Choice The Bonaire Summer Breeze is the value for money choice. Ideal for both new homes and changeover installations, the Bonaire Summer Breeze has been specifically developed to provide a quick easy changeover for many old evaporative coolers. All units can be installed on a standard sized dropper duct.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
