It doesn't work.
I only had mine ten days before the 3 beeps of death started. Major waste of "a lot of money".
Yes it's under warranty but after reading the other reviews I'm looking to get a refund, I don't want headaches when I wake up in the morning and try to make coffee.

Love it
This was a birthday present (the best birthday present ever, I must say) I use this every day sometimes 3-4 times a day. It's easy to clean, has a large capacity and does what it claims. Very happy with it, I just hope it lasts forever.
I recommend it to all my friends. Definitely worth every cent.

BEST MILK FROTHER
I love this machine. Not only can I have hot hot milk for my coffee I can also make hot chocolate in it. The temperature is adjustable with the turn of a dial from cold for iced coffee or chocolate to whatever temp you like your coffee to be. Being stainless steel a simple rinse is all it takes to clean. More expensive than others but well worth the money. After shopping around I bought mine from Billy Guyatt for a really good price. Would recommend the Breville Milk Cafe BMF600 to all.

Brilliant frother
I bought this frother a couple of years ago after first reading a lot of other reviews. I was not disappointed. It heats and froths the milk quickly and to a lovely, silky froth. So easy to clean due to the heating element not being in the top jug with the milk. Love that you can also adjust the temperature of the milk too and it shows what the optimum temperature ranges are. Highly recommend this frother. It looks great too!

Super easy and perfect!
Not a single issue.
The froth is so stiff it's like Pavlova! I use the non frothing disc most of the time. Temperature setting works perfectly too, it obviously uses conduction to heat the cup which is awesome.
Clean up is AMAZING! We had one of those Aldi frothers - coated with horrible Teflon with tiny nooks where you can't clean the milk..and it burnt milk too!
Don't think about it, just get it!

Solve for 3 beep fail
I have found that the easiest solve for this problem is to empty the jug of the milk, put asmall amount of water in. Press the start button and after it resumes spinning for a few seconds lift up the jug. empty the water and put back the milk. Replace the jug and press the start button. This method has not failed me yet.

Dreadful
Three beeps and it stops. Replaced item only to have it happen again. Will try disconnecting as per previous review. Breville you are a chook. Fancy letting this past your quality control. Your customer service was rude and unhelpful as well. The design of it is good but it does not work.

Possible solution to beeps and turning off
My product was pretty good for a couple of weeks and then would just beep and turn off. Think there is a problem with some sort of current leakage effecting the device. Anyway if you turn it off at the power point after each use then it seems to work every time. Needs at least an hour or more in my experience. Use the heavy frother and stop it when you get the right consistency. Pretty hopeless that this is necessary but good when it works.

Think i solved the problem of it not working after a few goes.
Aologies but this post applies to the Breville milk cafe or whatever it is called, not Sunbeam. My product was pretty good for a couple of weeks and then would just beep and turn off. Can not live without it
Love how I get my milk the right temperature every time and no hasel or burns. My kids like warm milk with their hot chocolate and I like my milk to be extra hot with my coffee. I can use it with any coffee but I use it with Aldi coffee capsules and the taste is better than bought coffee. Highly recommend it

A really good quality made frother
This is slightly more expensive than other brands because it is stainless steel and the temperature of the milk can be dialled to your taste plus it will froth cold milk as well. The Breville is the best frother available in the market. Quality and appearance is excellent.
Look around and you can get a better deal as the recommended price is $149
I bought mine from Retravision in Cannington WA They gave the best deal. The milk when added to percolated or expresso coffee really tastes like it does from a coffee shop.

Good Frother, takes too long though
I have a Nespresso with the built in frother that I just can attach and refill. My main complaint was luke warm coffee. So I searched for a substitute frother and I saw my friend had this frother. The coffee he served was warm and he mentioned how easy it is to clean. So decided to go for this one.
For the frothing result, it is good and I can froth for multiple cups. The milk comes up warm enough for my taste.
My main complaint, frothing takes a bit long. Probably because of the temperature I set and the amount of milk I'm frothing, 500ml. Otherwise, would recommend it if you have the patience.

Great product!
At this price point this is simply the best frother out there. I have been using one for over a year and a half without an issue. The nespresso frother was ok for single coffees but didnt work as well when you wanted to make multiple ones.
I love it soo much that I have already given away another three of these to various friends and family.

Great when it worked!!
Purchased in February 2016 as was fed up with burnt Nespresso frother. Should have stuck with them. Slow, noisy and temperamental when new, now it wont work at all & keeps doing the three beeps and switching off. Only used at the shack so probably used for 80 days. Big waste of money..

Absolutely Love!!!
The best Milk frother machine I have owned!! After owning many different machines over the years I wish I had come across this one sooner!! The only downside to the machine would have to be the pricing. But Overall I'm happy to be able to enjoy nice hot creamy coffees :D

I'm looking for a second one for upstairs, but they're a bit too expensive at the moment.
We've had ours for about 4 years, and it's wonderful. It makes good froth with whole milk and isn't fussy about what temperature the milk is to start with like some. The frother that came with the delonghi Nespresso machine was a waste of space. I think the Breville that didn't work must have had the little frothing bit missing, a tiny coil that can be removed for washing.

Cant do without this anymore
I use the Breville Milk Cafe twice a day everyday to make coffee. My family loves the warm frothy milk made in it, the milk does not burn and there is a temperature control knob in front that allows us to heat it up to the exact temperature that we like. I got it on sale at $95 at myers ebay special. Have only had it for 1 month and i hope it will last. I do notice that if i add too much sugar and instant coffee to the machine at one go it will beep and stop functioning. But if i add them in 1/2 tsp at regular intervals the machine works fine. ...Read more
If the machine does beep and stop, i wait a little while and then press the start button again and it runs. I think perhaps the frother is rather fragile and cannot spin when there is too much weight on it, but once the sugar/ coffee has dissolved it works again. My only gripe for now is that it can only hold up to 3 cups of milk and sometimes i want to make more than 3 cups.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

;Why did I wait so long
I just purchased the milk frother, so easy to use, clean and best of all the milk is HOT. Apart from that the froth is really frothy, excellent choice. It was a bit more expensive than others but my main object was to get HOT milk as I don't like warm coffee or chocolate drinks.

It's really good!
A good appliance for your house!I am happy to use it.Of course don't expect the same hot chocolate you are used to order at cafes as they have much better professional ones.
Once again for common and daily use at home it would say it's perfect because with about 100 bucks or more you have a good domestic applicance.

Skewasked
Can you use it WITHOUT the frothing discs to just heat milk?
2 answers
No, you need to use one of the discs. If you don't want frothy milk, the Latte disc would be the one to use. There is no heavy froth when using that one. I use it to heat milk for my cereal ... using the latte disc.
Ok thanks for the reply!
Mariaasked
My milk frother does not turn on again. I have checked different power outlets around the house. and apparently the power is not the problem but the machine itself. This is been happening randomly. I would appreciate if you could help me. Thanks

Hi Maria, I sympathise. We are on our third Breville BMF600 frother. The first two refused to work after a year or so;, responding with 3 beeps when powered on. One possible explanation is the internal safety cutout being too sensitive, thinking it's got moisture inside. Not heard from Breville though. They seem to ignore product design faults and concentrate more on packaging.

Hi I have the 3 beep problem keeps shutting down, everything is clean.. is there anything else I can do, before throwing it in the bin, microwave is my milk heater, due to this product having a mind of its own

I love this machine & highly recommend it, have never had any problems. With your issue, I'd contact Breville - give them the chance to remedy the situation before you blast their product. If they respond appropriately, that's good. They said in the past "Please give us the opportunity to correct the situation by contacting our dedicated customer care team at 1300 139 798 (M-F, 8am-5pm) or at [email protected]
PS. When not being used, I turn it off at the power, that might be an advantage.
