I use it regularly
I like that I can brown the onions and meat in the very large pan on the stove, before setting it back into the slow cooker. The low setting keeps the cooking going for 8 hours, whilst the high setting will have it done in 3 to 4 hours. Auto will give a result in between. So simple and so easy to clean.

Love it
I love that I can cook everything in this one dish. No more extra fry pans when I brown the meat. Great flavour and so easy to prepare. Simple to use. Straight from the stove top to the slow cooker. I would recommend it to anyone that is interested in buying a slow cooker

I love my slow cooker!!
This appliance makes dinner fast & hassle free. It is so easy to cook with & very easy to regulate the temperature & it is also easy to clean in the aftermath (ie. when you don't feel like cleaning!!). I organise dinner in the morning & serve it in the evening when I get home. I love it!!

This product is one I use all the time.
I am very satisfied with this product one I would recommend it to anyone. I use it for casseroles soups and I do my silverside in it. I also make pot roasts for my family. It is also very good for making apple crumble and apple and rhubarb. Also very good for rice custard.

Fantastic!!
What a fantastic bargain! Super handy that I can brown meat and that just pop the pan into the electric base for slow cooking which means substantially less washing up! I can fit a 4kg brisket into this - perfect! Have used it at least twice a week since purchasing. Very easy to clean.

Oh man this slow cooker is the best I've had. Put it on at 2pm, dinner ready by 6 or use the slow cooker Mehdi for the longer time of course. Flavour to the max and being able to go from stove top to slow cooker then to oven is fantastic. Just keep in mind that someone has mentioned the non stick may come off over time if using like this. Definitely worth buying.

No problem, when a product is great then i think it needs to be shared. We love our Breville coffee machine too! I think we're becoming a Breville household.

Better than expected.
I was hesitant to buy this slow cooker due to the negative feedback and high price but because I wanted a large slow cooker (7L) I decided to buy it and invest in an extended warranty. I have only had it a couple of weeks and used it about 6 times but I've found that it seems to cook a lot faster than my previous slow cooker and it is exceptionally easy to clean with its non-stick coating. You can sear in the pan prior to slow cooking and although I haven't used this feature yet, it is available if I need it. The only down side it that it doesn't have a glass lid to see how the meal is progressing. Overall very happy with my purchase.

Great so far
This was the only slow cooker in Australian market that Browns and Slow cooks without removing the pan. Ninja make an awesome one but it has not made it to our market yet. We were reluctant to buy based on all the bad reviews but so far it's been good. The key is to only use plastic so you don't scratch the inside. We will be reviewing again if anything changes. We decided to buy the 3 year warranty based on all the bad reviews.

This is perfect. Hate cooking but this makes it so much easier and my family loves it. I use it all
Absolutely love that you can brown in this instead of using a separate pan and shape makes it easier to cook shanks etc. only negative is that a glass lid would be good to see how things are going. Also the lead could be a little longer. Otherwise fantastic. AAA+++.
July 5th 2017 Update: Fantastic
I have had this now for 14 months and absolutely love it. However I am very disappointed in the fact that the pan coating is starting to deteriorate. I am not sure if anyone else has had this problem with it. Otherwise it is an excellent item and I use it regularly.

Fantastic
Very happy with this slow cooker.
So light and easy to clean and with the removals power cord it stores so easily. For me, the cord could be a bit longer but that's an issue with my kitchen
Being able to brown on the stove then just place in the base is fantastic.
The size and shape is perfect. Cooked 6 large lamb shanks easily and no need to juggle with placement

Great Slow Cooker
Have owned this slow cooker for approx. 2 yrs now. It's my favorite so far. Cooks brilliantly and I love the large size. It would be perfect and worthy of 5 stars if only it had a glass lid (so I could see how my food is doing without having to lift the lid) & a digital display would be perfect to give the slow cooker the ability to set to cook for an exact time on high or low, then turn itself automatically to keep warm. This cooker gets used several times a week in our home and it's stood the test of time. After a couple of years the coating ...Read more
is starting to pitt, so I will have to replace it soon, however unless Breville create a new version with the glass lid and digital display in a 7 litre I honestly don't know if I would purchase this exact one again.1 comment

Functions well but is an awkward shape.
I got this cooker a few years ago with our credit card points. I love the way you can put the inner section on the stove to brown meat prior to starting the slow cooking process; and you can lift it out and put it in the oven or back on the stove to thicken the sauce. I don't like the stainless steel lid as you can't see in to check how things are progressing; and the shape is so awkward it doesn't fit in our sink to clean it - nor in our old dish-drawer either. My husband and children didn't like the strange flavour that it gave to the food, and in the end I gave it away. The construction was good quality though and nothing ever went wrong with it.

Very disappointed, don't bother.
Bought this in May2014 in Myer and have been really happy with it till March 2016 when element went. For $199 RRP it should've lasted longer than my previous $59 tefal one from Big W which lasted 12 years! I'm heading to Big W for another Tefal and I would neither buy another Breville slow cooker or recommend one. :(

Bubbles on the surface
I bought this product because it was light and you could use it on the stovetop and now the surface on the bottom and up the sides are bubbling and flaking It was very disappointed, up until this happened I was delighted. I wonder if you can replace the bowl only

Very poor quality non-stick coating!
I've been very happy with my Breville slow cooker and easy to make extraordinary dinners with little effort. In the last month I've noticed that the non-stick coating is degrading and the inner pot looks like its has many spots of fungus. It's the non-stick coating that breaks up into tiny small flakes that make it look like fine fluff. I'm very disappointed because I expected much better quality from a Breville product.

Nice Stainless Steel Lid!!
Apart that looks nicer than a glass lid which can be found in any $20 + cheap slow cookers and electric pans, this stainless steel lid it's lighter than glass + unbreakable. I had other slow cookers with glass lids and still I had to lift the lid to look at the food cooking, because of the condensation buildup.
This slow cooker is probably the best in market, good built, good size, good results. I found very useful the auto setting. I would have liked though to have and a keep warm setting, or even better an auto timer when finish to switch to warm setting.
Over all a very good product, at a very good price. Highly recommended!!

Time saver
Recently bought this slow cooker and sorry I waited so long. Meals come out so tender without having to stand over pot for hours to get the same result. Cooking a chicken sauce for the spaghetti today and it smells delicious. Roast meats are a treat !! Practice makes perfect

Its a Great Cooker
As the the model name says this is a true "Flavour Maker" I recently "Slow Cooked" three Lamb Shanks with some Pearl Barley, a couple of sliced Onions, some chopped Garlic, three or four Bay Leaves and some Thyme - I added a couple of cups of water and switched it on at Slow Cook level. I cooked this feed for seven hour checking every two hour to make sure it wasn't "dry" and then served it with some steamed vegetables - It had cooked the Lamb Shanks to perfection - The Breville BSC Flavour Maker is great for cooking large meals particularly if they are something like Lamb Shanks
