9 questions from our users
Can you use it on orchid
Is it any good for frangipani and hibiscus
I didn’t like the product at all. It burnt everything that I applied it to. I now use rooster booster in my garden. Low price, a bit stinky for a couple of days, but natives and exotics all happy with it. Hope this is helpful
All purpose is good for hibiscus and frangapeni
I’ve just put 20g around all and it rained on them all hope works
can I use eclipse fertilizer on my potted hydranga
I use osmocote on hydrangea
Eclipse fertilizer? Not familiar with that name. I think Osmocote make a fertilizer that specifically for hydrangea.
Should slow release fertiliser be watered in?
What are the NPK percentages in Brunnings NPK All Purpose Fertiliser (a comment from above said the N percentage was 7.8)
Nitrogen (N) as ammonium 9%, Phosphorus (P) total 1.0%, Potassium (K) 9.2%, Sulphur (S) 12.5% Calcium .3%
The figures above are for WA.
All other states are: Nitrogen (N) as ammonium 7.8%, Phosphorus (P) total 3.8%, Potassium (K) 9.6%, Sulphur (S) 13.9% Calcium 8%.
Note: seems that Brunnings change their formula from time to time as the figures I quoted are from the tub I have but looking at samples I saw online the figures (for WA I think) were different to those on my tub.
Read my updated review regarding a negative side to this fertiliser.
Is Brunnings NPK fertilizer suitable for native shubs?
Not suitable.
From their website......."Brunnings All Purpose NPK Fertiliser is a premium, fully granular NPK complex fertiliser that contains both slow release and fast acting ingredients for quick results and extended feeding.
For use on indoor and outdoor potted plants and most garden applications (excluding native plants)."
They have a specific product for Natives.....Eclipse Fertiliser for Natives.
