I only just switched to Budget Direct, so I can't comment on claims or anything like that. I can just say the set up process was reasonably easy and it was certainly much cheaper than who I was with before.

when I asked them to do few changes in my policy they just cancelled it. The costumer service is so rude. instead helping they start investigating you.. hope they improve their service ...

My car was morethan 1 year in insured with budget direct
When someone hit my car I applied for claim they fix after 2 months and they increased my premium

Reason went to budget direct it was cheapest. Turn out to be the cheapest & worst service ever.

Been rating 1 driver no demerit points over 15 years. Had someone break in to my car (broken windows & stuff taken out from my car)
- First will take 30 minutes to answer calls
- Then took 2 weeks to get window repaired (I had choice of repairer option, but couldn't use mine)
& $ 600 excess
- Another claim had to lodge for contents. And suddenly my monthly payment doubled.
Had to cancel the claim and find another insurer.

Never ever go with these people.

The premium was bn really competitive. I saved $700 just by changing to Budget Direct. The online process was really easy and quick. Would totally recommend this company for car insurance.

After looking on Line and comparing car insurance, and checking out companies, Budget came up that wa suitable for me, I was contacted by Budget, spoke t o someone and eventually signed up.

I compared apprehensively as I had been with the same company for over 30years. I saved over $200 with similar benefits. Wow I was surprised so I changed my policy to budget direct

I applied for comprehensive insurance on line, I was required to provide documenrs to prove my no claim rating status, I did this and up till time of writing, had no idea if my insurance was in place.

Cost effective when you buy, but you will pay the real cost when you have accident.
I think it is not value for money.
They don't look like to be willing to help customers and it seems they are finding away to avoid their responsibilities.

I had 2 cars insured with Huddle. I saved over $200 by switching to Budget, the customer service agent asked every pertinent question so I had the best value for both cars.

I set up the insurance on the phone and the process was made easy by the helpful assistant.
There were good options to tailor the insurance as I needed.
The components of the insurance policy (what was covered) easily surpassed other insurance policies that are trying to compete with the Budget Direct price.
The only negative point is one that is shared by all of the companies - my premium was affected by a ‘no fault’ (and therefore no claim to the company) incident where I was rear-ended.
If I ever need to claim, I hope their service remains as good as the initial set up.

Don't be fooled by their cheap quotes,

As soon as you need to claim they will switch on "don't give a fk" mode

For this case it was a not at fault and the other side is not insured, they will find every little thing to avoid paying even it wasn't even your fault.

Go pay a bit extra and have a hassle free claims in the future, fk this company.

I'm a long time customer with three other vehicles insured with you it was only when I said I would get some other quotes did he offer to give me some more discount I still felt it was too high but accepted anyway very dissapointed will be looking around next year for cheaper quotes regards Alastair
