We were insulted by Finnston because we were waiting for him while he was on the phone.
On the 1 Jan 2022, 6 pm, we went to the Bunnings Hawthorn store for less than 10 mins to get a couple of water fitters from the second level. When we were at the check out, the staff member Finnston was on the phone. We were patiently waiting for him, but it seemed that he wasn't happy about us standing there to wait for him. After he hung up his phone, he immediately asked to check my handbag and he was rude about it and he also insulted me. I told him that I don't feel comfortable for him to check my handbag, and then he shouted and go...
Read moret another staff member to check my bag when we were on the way out. He had no evidence to prove that I had stolen anything. It seemed that he just got upset with us by standing and waiting for him. At the end, they couldn't find any thing from my handbag. This was the first time I had even been asked to check my handbag. I had been forced and it is also against my will for them to check my handbag. Finnston's behaviour was very arrogant and rude.

did a special order in store for suntuff roofing, ordered and paid 1st week December told will be 7-10 days here we are today and they are still telling us it's not their fault but the fault of a courier company, I had to have xmas day lunch under a tarp and was soo embarrassed by this it was humiliating, Bunnings with all your power with suppliers you need and could have done so much better, I cancelled order today and will go somewhere else, and you know what is dissapointing in all of this, is that you just do not care.

Very disappointed with my hothouse purchase. After paying over $300 for it and spending hours putting it together with my handyman husband it’s really not that great. The instructions weren’t very clear, however if you buy one be very organised like we were. It’s just not a great hothouse.

Read more, then drove 25 minutes to the Belmont store to purchase. It was 39 degrees at the time, I spent a long time looking for the item, then sought the help of a staff member. She also couldn’t find the six that the system showed we’re in stock. She spent another 15 minutes trying to track down someone ‘from landscaping’ who might know more, then disappeared. The second staff member knew no more, but told us stock online / the app is only updated once a week. (That seem ludicrous if that’s the case.) this is on the last in a long series of disappointments where Bunnings does not have stock as shown, will not sell the item they do have, and make no effort to find a solution for the customer other than ‘I don’t know’. We left empty handed and I’m am going to try my hardest to spend my money elsewhere from now on. That Bunnings Market place is a shambles, the Amarex delivery should stop operating. I ordered an aroma diffuser on the 6th of Dec, today we are on the 28th, no sign of the item. The Amarex tracking is a joke, just shows pick up, not even up to the Melbourne depot. Will never use that Bunnings Market place again, first time, last time, it's giving Bunnings good name a bad reputation. If I had bought it from Amazon, it would be in my hands right now, big mistake to try Bunnings Market place. Please stay miles away.

Received the projector although it won't even turn on and the screen is still currently sitting in a Perth warehouse after being sent there from Melbourne despite me living in Brisbane despite me ordering over 3 weeks ago. Bunnings have apparently now become Amazon and have allowed suppliers to sell products via their "Marketplace". This really means that Bunnings are purely a website vehicle for vendors. If you want to return a product you have to contact the actual vendor, post the item back and pay a restocking fee. BUYERS BEWARE - as you could end up paying more than using Ebay or Amazon, or any other online retailer for that matter.
The description of the product I actually bought was vague and stupidly I thought i'd be able to return it to Bunnings if it wasn't right. I'd not realised I wasn't ordering from Bunnings online where you can return items to the store.

Ordered two pairs of "ARTISS 2X WOODE N BAR STOOLS SWIVEL BAR STOOL" and yet only received the legs of the 1st pair.
This caused a bit of a panic but received the remaining parts. I wasn’t given any notice about more boxes to be delivered and the only way to communicate with sender is via a generic online form. This process really needs to be improved.
Otherwise everything worked itself out.

I saw item on Bunnings Marketplace via one of their 'trusted suppliers' Timeless Living.
I placed order on the 10th Dec and Aramex picked up my order on the 13th December.
Since then no tracking update so I contact seller Timeless Living who tells me it is within delivery timeframe. Um, that not the issue. The issue is my delivery has been lost. I sent email 2 days ago and follow up today asking them to raise a case with Aramex to find the missing item, no answer from them.

Faulty power tool, promised replacement then told it will need to be sent away
So my Makita brushless vacuum cracked around the nozzle through no fault of my own and I took it back to your Woodville store. The lady on the service desk said no worries and to go get a new one off the shelf which I did. When I got back to the service desk some dismal guy said sorry we won't replace it and it will have to be sent for repair but it might take until March until it comes back. This is DISGUSTING customer service and in breach of consumer law which states I am entitled to a refund or replacement!

Paid nearly four hundred dollars for a bed, received a couple bits of metal and some sides. Supposed to be a gas lift bed, all I have are parts. Item number one on the included parts is the headboard, nowhere to be found, and it goes on and on.
After seeing other reviews here I have lost all hope of either a refund or receiving my bed. What a scam.
"Bunnings trusted" literally means nothing.

Purchased over $700 of ladders.
Nothing wrong with the ladders but the contractor used by Bunnings charges $80 to deliver a distance of 31 klms.
Given the value of the purchase, I expect better treatment from Bunnings than to add another 10% to the purchase price for a 30 klm delivery.
Even the Bunnings Special Order staff were embarrassed by this extortionate rate and were apologetic about the charge.

Terrible. Do not order from bunnings Marketplace. How can I get a refund please. This has taken way too long and by the looks of everyone’s comments it will not be arriving. I am a Bunnings shareholder and I hate to say that their website is disgraceful for stock availability at retail stores. I have been caught too many times. Today I visited three retail stores, all of which showed stock available. Not one had the item, so another waste of a 45km round trip. My advice is to call the store, if you can get anyone to answer. Stores visited were Broadmeadows, Sunshine and Maribyrnong.

We ordered a lounge through Bunnings Marketplace, hoping we would receive it in the 4-10 days as stated. Well, we got something within that timeframe……How can you send 2 out of 5 boxes for a lounge? Are we supposed to just put the seats on the floor???
We have not received any correspondence or email as to when we will receive the actual lounge…..JOKE! I have sent 2 emails with nil response. When I am finally contacted, I will be advising not to send the rest and come and take the 2 boxes back!! WITH A FULL REFUND!

I have bought cat litter box from Bunnings marketplace.
ETA was 3 Dec so I placed order.
Tracking comes up but estimated extra one week, ended up delivered two weeks extra on top of estimated delivery time.
And worst thing is they sent me an email to review, I wrote what exactly happened, like items is good but estimated eta is way way off and I would have not ordered if I knew that take so long, their email returned to me oh we can’t place your review.
So they choose only good reviews to place on their site so it looks good.
They should be hones, not hiding all the reviews.

Purchased an Esatto 198l fridge/freezer from Bunnings Marketplace and been having issues with the temperature control panel from day one of receiving the item. Needed to replace 7 sheets of polycarbonate roofing after hail damage. Previously stocked 3 meter lengths now only available through special orders. When received all sheets varied in size by some degree. 4 of the 7 sheets were within acceptable tolerances despite being out of square while 2 were 20mm too long and another 20mm too short. For whatever reason, my order went through as a pick-up order. I did not want to collect the order from their store in Port Melbourne as I live a long way away. I do not believe I made the mistake but trying to get them to alter this was next to impossible. Numerous text messages, emails and attempts at phoning got me nowhere. The most useless time-wasting service you could imagine. I will never order anything from Bunnings online again, and I would never recommend it to anyone else.
