I was charged $250 per person for refund. I Will lodge a complaint to ACCC, they changed the terms and condition without notify customers. and the terms and condition are not fair to customers

Thieves!
Flight was cancelled due to Coronavirus. Even though Emirates gave full refund BYO Jet retained a fee of $500 (250$ per passenger for admin fee) ! Couldn't even change the passenger names, as they were flown back to their country. How is this even legal? DO NOT GO THROUGH THEM.

Horrible BYOJET travel agent
Horrible travel agent. Never bought any ticket with them again. They won’t give me a full refund during a corona virus. Canada lockdown the country. I can’t fly and I tried to do refund but they want to charge me fee witch airline won’t charge. Other travel agent like Skyscanner gave me a full refund with out questions. Sent a 10 emails to them all rejecting my email. The only email I got is to said they will charge me. I will report them to unfair trading and they basically don’t care.

Hi, I’ve started the refund process of my cancelled flight and I still have no news about it. I received an email from BYOjet the 24-03-20 saying that I’d have Further information within 7 to 14 days, but I have no news yet.

All crap!!!$250 fees to process your refund when china southern refund in full
Our flight was cancelled due to corona virus and BYO wrote us an email saying we have the option to get full refund. However, byo charged us a $250 fees per person. Those fees was not metioned at all in the emails.

Charged change fees even though airline was wlling to waive
I called BYOjet on 16th March, the day before my flight with Etihad from Australia to UK. I informed them that due to national government advice against any overseas travel I needed to either cancel or change my flight. I had checked the Etihad website and it clearly stated that in such circumstances customers will be offered a change, free of any additional fees. otted from the Etihad website that day. I have complained to BYOjet but they have not been responding to web or email complaints. We wouldn't even be able to claim the change fee on insurance as our insurance company excludes pandemics. I then called them back today explaining the issue, and after waiting for over 1 hour, the customer services rep refused to discuss the issue with me and hung up mid conversation! Thankfully, my return journey was booked directly with Etihad in April and they offered me a full refund for my flight. Do not book with this company, go directly to the airline and also buy "cancel for any reason" insurance for the dates of the flights or any prepaid accommodation. They are criminal. The airline refunded to BYO but BYO never refunds to me
My flight was canceled due to Covid-19. The airline confirmed their refund to BYO and they sent me the evidence of the refund. I have been contacting to BYO but they never replied. They have my money in their account but they don’t want to give my money back. They are stealing my money. This is not just bad service. This is fraud and crime.

Byojet want to charge me $250 to be refunded even though Singapore Airlines who my ticket is with are giving full refund with no charges. No-one will want to book with Byojet after this dis service. Shame on you.

Never here again, ever
The airlines(Thai) are being responsible and charging no fees for extension or vouchers, but these guys(byojet) are charging us for coronavirus outbreak extension and vouchers, refunds and so on.
If that's how they are going to respond to the global pandemic,
they have my negative feedbacks and responses to everyone that I know for the rest of my life.
Never traveling via here ever again.

Awful Customer Service
As an online travel agent with no overheads how can they possibly charge $250 per person cancellation fee when it’s not the customer cancelling the flight.
Customer service is shocking and if we don’t make a decision on refund or credit the call is disconnected.
As a family of 4 we stand to lose $1000, that is a lot in this current climate.
I am disgusted that they are gaining from our loss. I will never book through this company again!!!

Disgusted
They charge me $250 cancellation fees to cancel tickets but it's not me the airline has chosen to cancel. I can understand that you need some processing fees but you can't charge people the "normal" processing fees during this pandemic. Not to mention their terrible customer service, all of their service are nightmare.

we bought our tickets from these guys unfortunately in April. the flights cancelled due to CoronaVirus.
from that time until now, we aren't able to call them. they are not answering any call, no email.
avoid this business as they just taking your money and there is no support.

I try to contact customer service many days and many hours, but still no response.
After Singapore airlines cancel my flight and ask me to contact the agency.

Refund/cancelled ticket
I bought tickets for Bali with BYOJET on their website and my flight got cancelled because of COVID-19.
Nobody from the company has contacted me via email/phone and I’ve tried to contact them by phone which was impossible. They don’t have any email for customer contact and I don’t know how to get my money back. They just disappear with my money!!

Customer service -very poor and rude
Just got hold of BYOjet customer service after on hold for 3 hours... booked the ticket thru them for Thai airways ..the airline has sent email on cancellation of flight but no credit given by Byojet to use towards other date... refused to help ... never ever buy ticket from these people.. just after taking away all your money and charging cancellation cost of $250 and rebooking charges for $55 .. when all the airlines are waving off the rebooking....... They should shut down if they are not able to serve the customers...

Disgusting service
Booked my flights through BYOjet on 31 Jan 2020. The airline (Cathay Pacific) cancelled flights on 13 March. BYOjet changed their terms and conditions as of 19 March and now adding a $250 per person fee despite airline offering full refund.
Spent many hours on hold waiting to talk to them, only to be hung up on twice when asked for a full refund.
Their website still states that if airline cancels the flights can get a full refund. Call operator said the $250 pp fee is because they value their work towards communication. Asked to speak to some...Read more

$250 refund fee per ticket for doing nothing
Malaysia airline refunded the full amount. BYOjet decides it’ll take $250 of it and called it their refund policy. This is unreasonable. I will never book through any agency again. If I had booked direct with Malaysia airlines I would not have been charged the fees. Unreasonable and unethical.
