You will not regret choosing Carpet Call
We decided to replace our existing cheap laminate flooring with quality product that would suite the style of our home. The staff at the Auburn store recognised we were pressed for time when we went in and organised for someone to see us the next day at 6pm. He spent 2.5 hours with us and at the end we knew we had made the right decision. They called when they said they said they would call and answered any questions we had with no crap.

It’s my pleasure to meet these two awesome and professional persons from carpet call. The store manager of Cambelltown Store, Mr Omar and very professional installer Mr Moe. Both of them have provided their excellent and best services from their capacity to choose my laminate and install at my place in a very short notice. I am really glad to see to get the job as per my expectations and which is very important from the customer point of view. Both of them kept on chasing and inquiring until the final job is done at my place. Mr Moe was there even to do the final inspection of every single corner of my house where the floor board was laid and kept on asking about my satisfaction. Laminated Floor Boards installation
Great service from Leonardo and Ahmet at Alexandria store with the measure up and Quote.
The installation was a different experience with the guys trying to install cheap borders to save time and not wanting to remove kitchen flooring as quoted. They lost my building and apartment access keys and burnt the adjoining new bedroom carpets whilst attaching door trims - very disappointing experience.

Signed up Laminate Flooring and Carpet from CarpetCall Ferntree Gully on 19 Dec. Worst service by sales rep at mentone store
Firstly the store manager was fantastic gentlemna but a shame 1 of the sales rep was a pushy person, from getting the m&q date wrong and lucky I was across the road to not giving me a written quote to keep which quotes normally last 30 days & telling me that price was for that day to pushing me on when I want the job done, I then had them come do a quote for laminate floor and same thing happened by the same sales rep, the store manager gave me a quote to keep with no problems, when I phoned to get a quote for my hallway and lounge room for ins...Read more
urance store manager was very helpful as it was for insurance but when I phoned on his day off and got the same sales rep on the phone he said he would do the quote and call me 7 hours later when I finished work went to the store and he hadn’t done it as he couldn’t find the plans, why paperwork isn’t uploaded to a computer system these days is betond me, I’ll only ever go to the Moorabbin store from now on as the sales rep Steven was fantastic with my carpet and laminate floors that I gave the sale to them, I have spent over $3000 with them2 comments

WOW- WHAT A FANTASTIC JOB!!
I must say- my husband and I have been sooo impressed by all the people we have dealt with at Carpet Call- from Andy on our initial enquiry- to Steve- who measured up ( and its seems he was absolutely `spot on’) - to the 2 gents Milad and Matt- doing all the hard yakka! We have had laminate flooring replace 20year old carpet plus stair carpet replaced and it looks stunning!

My laminate floors
5 years ago with a newly built house I had laminate in the living areas and carpets in bedrooms. Found the laminates easy to clean and maintain. So decided to rip the carpets off and had it laminated with the same Parador Classic 1050. Dan and his team did a very good and thorough job in installation. They were professional at all times and left the my house clean.

hi thank you for reply to my concern l have invoice 24516 the store was Auburn Carpetcall still no happy they charge me for Dunlop underlay aqua acoustic 480 extra frim my first quote but l dont think they underlay this one no sure .

Excellent Service
We have just had Parador Laminat flooring put in throughout our home and would highly recommend Carpet Call. The product range was excellent and we found exactly the colour and style we were looking for. Customer service has been fantastic, from knowledgeable sales staff, to prompt over-the-phone service, and on-time, professional installers that worked hard all day to complete an amazing job in 1 day, they were so very help and abliging nothing was a problem for these guys I am extremely happy with our new floor and the A1 service from Carpet Call.

Happy with product. Room for improvement with service
Certainly happy with the carpet and laminate flooring products we purchased - very happy with the quality and colour. Unfortunately there were issues with the service provided. Initally the service from our sales representative was excellent - he was very personable and sensitive to our needs. Unfortunately the reliability (or lack thereof) of the workmen proved a bit frustrating and let the company down. We received a call on the Thursday night prior, from the branch's Operations Manager (who I must say was very helpful throughout), stating that the workman had called in sick for the following day and our installation needed to be rescheduled. He stated that the work could be done on the Saturday concurrently with the carpet installation. Normally this wouldn't be an issue, however we had moved furniture in preparation on the Thursday + had taken a day off work so this was frustrating. Saturday rolls around the laminate installers arrive (and did an excellent job on the day - tireless and committed) but now no carpet layer. I received a call from a coordinator from another branch who looks after the carpet installer's schedules to state that he had been trying to reach this particular workman for 2 hours and he wasn't responding to any texts/messages etc. After some more discussion, it was confirmed that another installer would arrive the following Tuesday - once again this was frustrating as we had moved/disassembled furniture in preparation. On Tuesday, the workmen who came in did an excellent job and finished the job quite quickly. I must state that the service from the Sales Rep, Operations Manager and Coordinator was good. So too the workman who did the final installation. Unfortunately the lack of reliability from one or two staff proved quite frustrating.1 comment

Unbelievably Bad!!
Paid a deposit in May for an order of over $25000 (second order for the same house). It's now almost November and the job isn't finished and we already have faults in the laminate flooring. We only have about 30% of the carpet done and one of those rooms is only partially done. We paid in full in August and have 6 rooms out of 8 plus a large stairway not done. We've been told over and over that someone from head office will call to book it in for completion and fix the fault with the laminate flooring and we never hear anything. Called head of...Read more
fice a few days ago to ask them to finish the job and fix the faults and they say they want more money. I told them not until everything is done and the operations manager refused. I was so angry that I hung up. I then called back and the same operations manager laughed at me, called me "pathetic", told me to take them to fair trading and hung up on me. We've given this company almost $50,000 in business and get treated like this. Apparently nobody at head office knew anything about the job or the faults, even though the operations manager told me that once contracts are signed, head office take over everything. They have absolutely no idea what they're doing, apart from taking your money.1 comment

Worst Retail Experience Ever
Purchased laminate flooring from the Helensvale Store. Everything was fine during the sale, but as the installation commenced we soon found out about the integrity of this company. We were told 3 days maximum for the installation, that then stretched to 4 days and now there is not enough stock in Queensland to finish the job and we have to wait another week. The installation team also damaged our walls and left a mess on the front lawn and were constantly late to arrive and early to leave. The communication at all levels was not acceptable. Very happy to make the sale but refuse to take responsibility for any issues.

Excellent customer service..genuine and helpful
We have just purchased our carpet and laminate wood floors from carpet call in Maribyrnong. The salesmen Roger and Antonio were fantastic. Helping us choose the right product. They provided excellent advice and never put any pressure on us to buy. Even when we went back a couple of times because we were not sure they were still very helpful and patient, understanding that we wanted to get it right and not rush. If I could give 1 star I would
Rude, arrogant and pushy salesman.
Laid the incorrect laminate flooring in our house and poor workman ship of carpet laid.
Carpet was laid, but installation was not complete. We moved in and the carpet is RIDDLED with nails (sharp end up) poking through in every room that is carpeted and very badly where carpet meets flooring (where you get a lot of foot traffic). I understand how carpet is laid and the use of nails, but this was pretty bad and quite frankly it was not a good job. We had to wait A MONTH for them to send someone out to ...Read more
rectify the problem because the first person they sent out to look at the issue, never showed up! Emailed their customer service lady asking what had happened, she never responded, I had to ring her. Had to wait another two weeks for someone to come out and in this time we had rectified most of the issue ourselves. It was clear to us and the person who came to repair the work that whoever installed the carpet had failed to go over the edging for the nails. Our carpet was also lifting around the doorways and had to be fixed. Now our scotia beading which we have around only around our island bench is lifting, part of it has broken away completely, less than 1 month after moving in. I absolutely refuse to have anything more to do with them and we will be having it fixed by other means. They have been a disaster company from the moment we dealt with them. If you would like your flooring installed to a great standard, with great customer service, do not shop here.2 comments

Not Happy
Very disappointed in the laying of our laminate floors! Lack of return calls to rectify the problems! Have placed an order for carpets which we are now cancelling! Where are the experts in the trade!

Never deal with these two store
In mid June I went to Maribyrnong store. I saw vinal laminate flooring, the manager approached me and asked if I need help. I showed him which I liked and told him that I don't know the amount I need, so I will come back with the measurement.
On the way home I went to some other shops as well as another CarperCall Hoppers Crossing store. One sales person asked me if I need any help, I showed him the product I like and explained that I don't have the measurements. I need. I did have it in my car so I gave him. He told me that I need 171 meter square including 7 % wastage. He told me that it will cost me $10,200.00 if I pay the same day he will make it 9200.00. I walked out of the store and gave a call to the Maribyrnong Carpet Call store, I told him the measurement is 171 meter square. He told me that if I pay the same time on the phone he will sell it $8000.00. The same product the same company different stores. I paid 3000.00 on the phone, next day I went to the store to sign on the paper work the same time I showed him the floor plan, he checked it twice and told me that it is not right it is 177 meter square including 5% wastage. He asked me to pay more, I told him that I can't afford to pay any more, I paid what I had so I need refund even I explained to him that I don't have money to buy underlying. Few minutes later he said including the underlying he can give me with the same price 8,000.00. We agreed to deliver it to Hoppers Crossing store so I can collect. I paid the balance 5,000.00 and delivered to Hoppers Crossing store. We picked up 42 boxes on the first round, the person measured the floor and told me that I need about 184 meter square including 7% wastage. I told him to do the job and see what will be the shortage. After he used 3 boxes he told me that he can't continue the job because of the product clicking edges are breaking easily. He damage about half box out of 3 boxes of work.4 comments

This is the third time we have used Midland Carpet Call over the years, very happy with service and especially happy with the timber laminate installation, the installer when the extra mile to accommodate the rounded edges at the ends of the skirting boards.
