Clive Peeters went into receivership some time ago owing to, I believe, a staff member embezzling over $20million. I bought a lot of appliances there and always found the staff to be very helpful. They could arrange installation of anything you bought and from my experience of having air conditioning installed, was smooth, on time and trouble free. They did make it so easy!!! Our local Clive Peeters store is now Harvey Norman and even though the staff were kept on, I don't think business has continued as it had been before. Our local store in Ringwood, Victoria was the original Clive Peeters store and always busy but not so much now.
Service was good and you could have installation arranged at time of purchase.

Was a bit more expensive than other local shops, and didn't price match. The store has now closed down for a number of reasons. I suppose it didn't help that a staffer embezzelled a few million bucks.

I arrived to look at dishwashers. Chose the Bosch (later purchased through Myer) and the salesman made a pass at me. Asked me to have a drink. I said no thank you I'm married to which he replied we could make it a threesome. No other staff in the entire section of store to come to assistance. Everybody looked busy. Maybe this staff member does this regularly which is why he had the entire dishwashing section to roam and conduct his sleezy behaviour.

Bad service.

Overall a good store to shop at I bought a fair few things from them and even helped some of my friends to buy there as I had created a few sales contacts, but after the store closed down don't know where the staff have moved.
Clive Peters Stores are good at price matching, but it depends who your sales person is, mostly good staff unfortunately they also have some of the odler staff who are very unapproachable. Good variety of electronic and small kitchen gadgets in store
Unfortunaley the store we had at the Crossroads in NSW closed down due to liquidation and has not reopened. As a result the Good Guys at Casula have become snobs and very unbargainable with no competition.

Definitely worth purchasing from them. If more retail chains are like them, the quality of the shopping experience from competitors will also rise up to match them.

We purchased an Air conditioning unit from the morayfield store,(unbeknown to us at the time) the box was damaged as was the unit inside and because the installer went ahead and installed it they wont do anything to fix or replace it.the sales staff couldnt care less, I will never shop at clive Peeters again, they promise the world and once they get your money they couldnt give a damn!

Bad warranty

I have only bought small ticketed items from this store but I haven't had any issues with anything. My local store is huge and close by to Harvey Norman so they have to try extra hard to compete against them. They have an excellent cooking range with ovens, dishwashers cook tops etc and they have free cooking demonstrations to attend which I think is a brilliant idea. My local Harvey Norman doesn't do this. They have a decent range of products and they are priced realistically. I can only go off from my local store, but I have nothing negative to say about this store (yet).

The store is clean and well laid out they have a good range of appliances and they are normally well stocked. But they are absolutely rubbish when it comes to customer service i agree totally with the other comments on here the staff come across as arrogant and totally up themselves. That is when you can actually get hold of a staff member. Me and my wife actually walked out of the store even though we where wanting to make a purchase due to the lack of staff and then the staff members attitude. Often the prices are not as good as somewhere like the good guys which is another negative.

Clive Peters (Dandendong South is the best) I found Mornington Staff still had a lot to learn about customer loyalty..
we bought several of our appliances from the dandenong store.. they have great customer service .. had a a problem once from a faulty appliance.. we contacted the store they contacted the manufacture and we receive a new product.. Because of their terrific customer service..most of my family buy at this store..
I liked the prices.. willing to discount for loyal customers or multiple purchases.
I found all the stores are different in their customer focus and approach.

A good store with some very knowledgeable staff, but the one incident has put me off buying from the store. However, some great sale items can be gotten there.
The staff is friendly. When we brought an oven from their, Clive Peeter gave us a free cooking lesson would was quite unexpected and very nice of them to do so! They will discount stuff if you ask and they give you free stuff if you make a big purchase.
The only major biff I have with Clive Peeters is that they sold us a dodgy oven. They were not very helpful in helping with this problem, which was a bit disappointing.

I enjoy shopping at Clive Peeters. Sometimes I could pick up some electronic products for really good price. However, most of the time Staff cannot give me much info about the products as much as I needed.
Clive Peeters is a good place to shop for all your electronic needs. I like the fact that it is not as busy as other stores so I can take my time to look around.
Product ranges are still limited compare to its competitors such as JB Hi Fi and Harvey Norman. Prices are also more expensive. Staff don't have much knowledge about products.

I would like to comment about my local Clive Peeters at Bella Vista. The staff at Clive Peeters, Bella Vista are one of the most knowledgeable that I have come across. They know their product well and provide reasonable advice. They even know their customers very well. It is unfortunate that Clive Peeters is in administration. You can feel the difference the moment you walk into their store especially if you have been to next door Harvey Norman.I would purchase from them any day.

Bella Vista Store. Rude store manager who left my wife in tears.

Clive Peeters Ipswich store, went in to buy an aircon, showed my vip card and they offered me a whole $50 off a $1000 air con needless to say i told him that was an insult and bought at the good guys. This isnt the 1st time at that store either. I will never shop at any clive peeters again.

Purchased kitchen appliances from Mackay store. Diswasher had split hose on delivery. Still waiting for replacement of hose (or dishwasher) after four weeks! Promised phone calls never eventuate. I would never deal with them again!

living in warrnambool it was such a breath of fresh air when clive peeters arrived.. usually stuck with pushy rude sales staff who judge and blatantly avoid you! great knowledge in the kitchen department and always happy and friendly people offering coffee and food... have spent a lot of money in there and will spend PLENTY more.. well done clive peeters warrnambool!!!
