Perfect for a hair straightener to travel with
Little Micro Iron is perfect to chuck into your bag and take it to work or wherever you must go.
Very satisfied with this product - I had heard amazing reviews and they did not lie. Better than the other hair straightener brands that I had always raved about.
Purchased in December 2021 at Adore Beauty for $155.00.

Broken 10 days in
Literally I bought this product 10 days ago and last night it broke half way through doing my hair. I can't believe I just spent $200 on this stupid thing. Not impressed.

Perfect for short hair!
Turns on easily and heats up very quickly. Maintains temperature well. Super compact so is great for travelling and very lightweight. Comes with a alcantara pouch for carriage. Has probably only snagged my hair once or twice in the 4-5 years I've had it. I've found that this was the perfect hair straightener for me as at the time I had very short (<2 inch) hair which was remarkably straight, this tamed my hair down and curled it so that my hair sat much more nicely on my scalp. Very impressed!

great for touchups
This is a great hair straightener for on the go. When buying it, keep in mind that it is small, so it is for people with very short hair or for those who want to touch up their hair or straighten their fringe. i find that the hair straightener heats up to a really good heat level in a short space of time. It's great for curling hair as well!

New hair straightener
I brought my cloud nine not to long ago.. Very handy with the small iron for my recently new short hair.. Gets very hot! Straightens my boofy thick hair quickly and easily.. Although I have noticed as it does get super hot that it's better to leave the settings lower as I did burn some of my hair.. Overall great hairstraightener but I probably do still prefer my ghd.. As it just feels a little bit more gentle on my hair.. So I switch it up between the both

Teeny tiny dynamo
Wanted a small iron for travel and came across this micro straightener. Read reviews and a lot were stating they used it for their thin or short hair. I have really long hair and use this to curl the ends and shape the layers around my face. Everything you get in a full size top of the range iron but in a micro size. The size does make it a little more difficult to maneuver and obviously you can't style as much hair in one go. Super impressed by Cloud 9.

So tiny!
Takes a little getting used to a smaller iron when styling hair after using a standard size iron but it's the perfect size for travel or handbags. Does everything a full size iron does but in a micro size. I use it to curl the ends of my hair and it works perfectly. Super impressed!

Love it!
I have had my cloud nine micro iron for over 3 years. It is perfect for short hair, and I find the micro size easier to hold for styling my fringe than a full size iron. I used to have a standard GHD, but I now prefer the cloud 9. The price is extremely reasonable. It's micro size is perfect for traveling.
Reasonable price, fast heat, auto off, reliable, compact

Good travel iron but deceptively small
I was rather disappointed when ordering the iron as I was under the impression it was similar to a GHD mini - a full-size iron with narrower plates, making it better for short hair. It certainly isn't - the Cloud Nine Micro is extremely small, basically pocket-sized (total length is smaller than my palm).
This makes it rather painful to use as an everyday straightener. That said, as a tiny travel straightener it works quite well. Just a shame none of the online product information or photos give a true idea of its scale - whilst it is called...Read more
"micro", the competitors' "mini" straighteners still have a full size handle. If buying as a travel straightener you'll probably be very happy - if wanting something similar to a GHD mini, steer clear. Compact, works well for its size Misleadingly small, looks a little cheapSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
