Hi
I purchased Dafni from Amazon
and I have encountered problem of second use, Power button lighting red and green and the brush is cool!
What I have to do?
1 answer
You just push it to turn on it should flash red and once ready to use should turn green after a period of time it will shut off if the brush gets to hot.
Also be aware of how u hold the brush the button is in a position where it can be regularly pushed and turned off.
If it's not hot when green i would say it could be faulty you may want to check it out.

Need to know how and what I can use to clean product off the bristles? (I.e. I have to put a bit of oil in my hair to get the smooth finish and minimize flyaways after straightening but when going over my hair against the following day the product is sticking to the bristles and I have no idea how to safely get it off and what to use :-(
Please help as happy with brush except for this.

Try white vinegar and water. If it is really bad you may need to use straight white vinegar. Dip a cotton bud into the mixture to moisten it and rub it against the bristles until clean. Do not saturate brush and allowed to dry thoroughly afterwards. You should not need to clean it with anything other than that and the vinegar smell will dissipate once it's dry.
Thanks so much! I'll give it a try

Hi, I have slightly longer than shoulder level hair.
It has proper curls,is frizzy,thick.
In d past 10 yrs I would have done straightening 10 times.im not so used to use starighteners therefore nvr tried using GHD.
Reviews says it doesn't work tat well or doesn't stay fr more than an hour.
Would u pls clarify this for me,as I don't wanna spend on straightening every year.if this works it would b lyk a perfect solution for me.
1 answer
If you is very curly then a straightening brush is not the best choice. Straightening brushes are great for smoothing over hair, touch ups and if you like a more volume look than dead straight. They work but if you have really curly hair a traditional straightener with the double heating plates is going to give the best result (in one pass) . Look for some that also use steam as this relaxes the hair cuticle even better ..you can search some video reviews on google or you tube
Sangeethaasked
Do i need to use hair oil for preventing hair dryness? If yes, please suggest some oil
1 answer
Hi Sangeetha. I don't use hair oil, as such, but if you condition your hair after shampooing, as usual, let your hair dry completely, and then spray on a little heat protection solution before using the dafni, you should be fine.

Hello, if you could please provide your best mode of contact to [email protected], we will contact you ASAP in regards to the above. Look forward to hearing from you soon.
Joy, you are protected under Australian consumer laws. Legally, a shop that sells you a product has to either refund you the value or arrange repairs etc if it stops working. This applies even after any ridiculous "30 day warranty" expires. The law states that they have to provide you with a refund etc if the product stops working before one would reasonably expect it to. So for example, if you buy a washing machine for $1000 with a 2 year warranty, and it stops working after 2.5 years, the shop can't say "Too bad, it's out of warranty" because no reasonable person only expects a washing machine to work for 2 years.
Don't be fooled into spending extra on warranties. Make sure the shop abides by consumer law. The Office of Fair Trading can assist you if you need advice.
Good luck!

Hi May, I recently purchased the Australian version, but am moving back to Canada. I love mine and would love to swap it. What do you think?
Nenit Duqueasked
where can I buy this?

You can buy it from the Shaver Shop
I think in Australia 'the shaver shop' is the only place. If you by from overseas (maybe try Amazon?) just look out for the power plug/voltage being different.

Hello, you can purchase this from Shaver Shop either in store or online - http://www.shavershop.com.au/online-store/hair-styling/dafni-hair-straightener.html

Hi, I bought my Dafni from showcase shop for $335 Canadian Dollars two and a half months ago. I was so happy with Dafni and in the start of February it just suddenly stop working. It just start beeping rapidly and red light flashing so I unplugged it. Can you please help me with this? Thanks!

Hi, if you bought it from Canada, most probably you are having an electricity voltage issue. Canada is at 120-140V whereas Australia is at 240V. Would suggest you get a voltage converter from Big W or JB HiFi.
Ur dafni is fixed now or not?

My daughter and I have shoulder length hair, slightly layered. Would the Dafni be efficient enough to straighten our hair. I am guessing my daughter would have to try to straighten the top layers upside down first as you would not be able to grab the hair and brush at the same time. Thoughts please.

I would suggest you go into the Shaver Shop with unstraightened hair and try it. Don't be in a rush. My Shaver Shop was very welcoming of this to see if it was the right product. I was in a rush and already has straighened hair.
mccar5pauasked
Is the dafni hair straightener as good as it show on the tv and as easy to do?
Is the dafni hair straightner any cheaper on line and can you only biy this product at store?
1 answer
You can go in Shaver Shop and try one for yourself on your unstraightened hair. That's what I would recommend or you buy a similar much cheaper one on ebay from reputable supplier that will get a hotter temperature. The TV ad may be true but I doubt it. Some people might think it works but I found it didn't straighten my long hair enough or get hot enough. I found it's not suitable for short hair. Will stick with the VS Goddess steam straightener as the steam doesn't dry my hair (although its time consuming filling the small water container).
