A little over a year on and this machine is still the heart of the kitchen
After buying this machine I can no longer stomach a bad coffee. The problem is that all coffee now, with the exception of some cafes that make specialty blends are not up to standard anymore. I recently had an issue with this machine foaming milk. I contacted the DeLonghi service department and was told a technician would come to my house to service it and if he could not finish it then he would provide a loaner until it was fixed. o much and should have been using milk cleaner instead. However, a replacement jug was ordered and I will receive it in a few days. The machine is great and the after purchase service is just as good. The wifi program is a little old and needs to be upgraded to allow for more customisation. It really sucks that you cannot program it to give you a triple shot of expresso.

Best coffee
As a lover if coffee coming from a European back ground this coffee machine is one of the best ones i have owned compared to the other ones i have had would recommend it to anyone that likes there coffee and wants a good machine to do what it says it does

Best coffee machine has decreased the amount of money spent on takeaway coffee. It’s great you will not regret the purchase. We bought beans from our coffee shop and now we have the same coffee at home. It does take a little long to make a couple of coffees. The Bluetooth is a waste of time as you need to be near the machine,

You have control over every part of the coffee making process with this lovely machine - coffee grinding or pre-ground, water level adjustment both saved and on-the-fly, coffee temperature, coffee strength, separate profiles for individual users, blue-tooth connection to smart phone to bypass the menu on the machine.

a single touch on the screen surround to choose from Espresso, Coffee, Long, Doppio+, or if you want to use milk, you can choose from Cappuccino, Latte, Flat White or just Milk. Milk container is double layered to keep milk cool in use and then store the container back in the fridge. Programmable cup warming plate on top, and the grinder is not noisy. The choices are almost infinite. Has also an auto off programmable up to 3 hours, Easy to clean and looks good. A very happy choice for me - local coffee shop is missing me! Recommended.

Best decision I ever made
We had a nespresso pod machine, but you just can’t compare it to the taste of the coffee from this machine, it’s honestly on par with coffee shops if not more consistent than them!
Super easy to use and you can sync it and make it from your phone to turn on and make coffee. Only downside is it cleans first so cant leave a cup there ready for the morning or you’ll get that in with your morning coffee!

I have had one issue with it frothing, but I took the frothed apart gave it a good clean, and ensured the two holes of the turn were pointing left/right (good old google) and it was fine.
Definitely recommend! Best decision, don’t regret it for a second!

Makes my coffee great and my mornings faster
My PrimaDonna Elite has made my mornings so much faster, after I set up the profile to make my cappuccino how I want it, it's just 1 button and my coffee is ready without any more effort. I find that I need to clean the infuser every few weeks or my coffee starts to get a bitter taste, but it only takes about 1 minute and everything is great again!

Useless App features.
I have two fully automatic coffee machines, one is this and the other is a basic Delonghi with non of the fancy stuff. I would never spend extra money for a fancy one again. The best feature is that the machine washes the infuser which is quite handy from a maintenance point of view. The benefits end there, i bought this as i thought if you put a cup underneath, in the morning you will have a coffee ready for you - No. The app uses bluetooth to connect which means you need to be there next to it to use it. Coffee is fantastic
Really simple and easy to use and produces HOT coffee - yay. We have had a couple of machines but this is the hottest by far. I do wish it just reverted to the main screen after each coffee instead of asking you to rinse straight after as you have to esc out to make more than one - previous models were easier.

Love the Coffee and Touch Screen
This is our third Delonghi expresso coffee machine and is the best. Coffee flavorsome. Coffee is hot if milk not straight from the fridge and if the cups have been heated upon the top heater tray.
The Touch Screen looks great and very easy to use including setting up.
The Blue Tooth connection is mainly useful for black coffee.

Yep they do, a few other ones do as well I was in at HN yesterday and was surprised that what looks like they are just manual button controlled have the app function sitting behind it to personalise the coffees etc

new solenoids and a new milk canister were delivered and fitted. After setting up at home all wonderful again. Of interest the coffee grounds container no longer captures water, coincidentally with the installation of new solenoids.
