Wash & Wear MattLeaves roller marks, patchy reflections even after three coats. Therefore required a lot of paints and time. Also, underlying colour comes after three coats although the underlying colour was not so strong.

I have had Dulux W&W Matt on my walls for 24 years. I have recently painted again and the product is no longer what I would call wash and wear. A Dulux rep came out and had a look and he wiped the wall in places (soft, very lightly damp clothe with water only) and you can see the marks he left. If it is Wash & Wear, how do I now remove the marks he left? Even my 80 year old Mum asked me what were all the marks on the walls? She was horrified. Wash & Wear Mattafter painting entire house with wash and wear having 5 kids in the house its impossible not to have hand marks etc on walls . but after using different cleaning products its hard not to have 1 wall now without a milky residue left on the walls when it dries, dont find this a good product at all.

... Read more damage to the walls. Sometimes, vigorous or abrasive cleaning may remove a stain by scrubbing-off layers of paint. Our advice on cleaning is to start by wiping with a soft cloth wet with water. If it doesn't come off with a few wipes, then try with a soft cloth and Ajax Spray n Wipe.Details
