Beware! False advertisement - colour shade only available for very short time
Have bought Dulux Wash&Wear a few years ago.
I paid the premium price relying on the "wash & wear"-promise as I had young kids.
When I then wanted to remove scuff-marks, I was not able to - I tried everything, from clothes to special plastic sponges, no avail. It is definitely not "easy to clean" or "mark and stain resistant" as advertised.
Tried to get it repainted which was not possible as Dulux discontinued the shade - even though I had a very common white shade, not some fancy colour...

Read moreaint - the assistants in the Dulux shop Balcatta were unable to advise me correctly. When I spoke to the managing director of Dulux in Australia, he promised me a voucher to - at least somewhat - make up for my disappointment and the money spent on the wrong shade. That was over a year ago, the managing director has not fulfilled his promise - extremely disappointing customer experience. Beware and rather use a different product!

I am considering purchasing some dulux precision maximum strength adhesion primer, but at nearly $100 for 4l I am concerned that it may fail.
I am looking at painting the undercoated side of composite alloy panelling which a mural will be painted on and affixed to a wall. this will cost $1000's to complete and I dont want to find the mural peeled off laying on the ground in 6 or 12 months time because of the adhesion primer!

Am about to buy Dulux Max Strength Precision Primer to paint over existing gloss enamel then overcoat with gloss acrylic. Going to do the whole house. Reading some of the reviews now I’m not to sure. Any comments?

It is designed to bond to old glossy enamels however for a better finish we still recommend that you sand.
