Very very disappointed
My son brought me a large two wick candle was not cheap its a vanilla and caramel. i was very excited to light it as its smelt very nice. Lit the candle a few minutes later the wax melted around the wick and drowned the wick and it turned itself off kept doing that every few minutes . For the candle to say on i have to keep takin out the wax around the wick that means wasting the wax. Very disappointed as i love dusk products and a thought very highly of it. I hope someone will read this review and do something about it as their product are expensive and when someone buy stuff from there people expect a good product in return
Very disappointing
I ordered over $100 worth of stuff online over 3 weeks ago and still havent received it, and nobody will answer my emails. Australia post have lodged an enquiry but that can take a further 3 weeks, and have tried to palm me off to the sender who will not respond either. They have taken my money but i have not received anything! Be vary wary about ordering from this company online!!
Never buying diffuser from dusk again
My husband bought me an oil diffuser from dusk for my bday. Wasn't cheap but I loved it. Didn't use every day but used the special oil diffuser oils from dusk and cleaned after each use. Not even 2 yrs later and the lights work but it doesn't diffuse. Expected it to last little longer for the price and amount of use it had
My daughter went and bought me another 1 for my bday from dusk. Year later this time same thing.
Way too expensive for 1 or 2 yrs use.
Wrote to customer support at dusk. Nothing!
Had few other issues with dusk products also.
Used to be a great place to buy candles and things. Apparently not any more.
Will be looking else where and telling family and friends also.
Don’t make online purchass
Do not bother making an online purchase, they are happy to take your money but won’t send the item. When you enquire about the items they avoid relying.

Broken products and no response
One of my candles arrived cracked in the mail and one of my mood mist oils had leaked through the entire package and was basically empty. I have sent 4 emails to Dusk over 4 weeks ago and have not even received an acknowledgement let alone a response! I have shopped at Dusk for years and safe to say that I never will again!
The ole Dusk range just ain’t what she used to be…
Let me start by saying that I’ve been a Dusk fan, member and customer since I first caught a whiff of their melts 2011. I have had pleasant dealings with the company both online and in-store, but I’ve decided to write this review in the hopes that it will help others.
I currently have 4 diffusers from the range, only 1 of which has the “no chip” design. Whilst the oldest of the bunch is a bit loud, they still work fine, but I am really annoyed that there’s no option to purchase replacement parts from Dusk, as the chips have chips in them, the
Terrible customer service. Will never shop here again
We are currently in lockdown with local store closed so I went to website to make a purchase. The website would not allow my transaction to process so I got in touch with live chat and asked if I can process payment over the phone. She said that I couldn't and that I needed to send a screenshot of the error and they will try to get back to me in 48 hours!!! There was no attempt to go down a different path to enable payment. They were happy to lose out on a sale than try to resolve in another way. No interest in the customer or the customer's needs whatsoever.
So disappointed
A month ago, I was given a Diffuser from my work colleagues when I left work. It is the most difficult diffuser to use with tiny operating buttons. It was working but now, 3 weeks after using it, I cannot get the diffuser to work at all. I have watched the online instructions on how to turn it on (lights and diffuser itself), all of which were working at one point and now after 3 weeks, it will not diffuse the oils. I left it turned off for 3 days (unplugged) and tried again, the light works but the whole point of the product, the diffuser,
... Read more is still not working and yes there is the right amount of water in it. The 3 essential oils purchased with the diffuser, are cheap and very watered down so when left on for a while, instead of the scent fading, it smells like cats urine. I am so disappointed that the girls wasted their money and I am left with an "unrecycable" broken diffuser.LOVE, cannot live without
I got given an oil burner from dusk for my birthday, to burn some wax melts. I love it. I use it every day, for at least a couple of hours, the melts last for hours and I haven't replaced one in weeks. It's amazing. Love the store

Dusk products are still good!
I've recently bought the resin mood mist diffuser and I love it! The LED lights are very bright and have a slow and steady change, which really adds to the beauty of it. At all the mist levels (high, medium, and low) it dispenses a very good amount of mist and fragrance. I also personally find it lasts for much longer than the product states. However, I do find their diffusers are much more sensitive than cheaper diffusers you can find. Overfilling even just the tiniest bit leads to no mist coming out, regardless of the mist level. It also very
... Read more easily messes up the air filter if you tip the water out the wrong side. I also noticed the dusk writing on the bottom began to rub off with slight pressure? I've had cheaper diffusers in the past and they definitely aren't as sensitive. However, I've noticed this diffuser will put out far more mist. It also says on the manual that the light will need to be turned off after the misting has finished, however, mine flashes red and then shuts off completely. I understand the power-saving aspect of this, but it's nice if the light could continue going. I also recently bought the mood mist fragrances. Much better than their essential oil range. The fragrance is strong at the start, but you begin to smell the softer heart and base notes towards the end which is nice.Dusk stores not what they used to be
when going to pay for my purchases at the counter I handed over my Dusk rewards birthday voucher to be told it had expired. Only have 30 days to use it. Will not renew my rewards card again or shop here again
False advertising
Both shop assistants stated that 'buy 2 get the third free ' applied to everything on the 2 tables. I decided to buy 2 diffusers. After choosing 3 diffusers and 3 oils, the sales assistant couldn't get the register to apply the discount. The manager then came out and told me that it is 'everything on the 2 tables were 'buy 2 get the 3rd free Except diffusers.... the sign was IN FROUNT stating 'buy 2 get the 3rd free.
The manager said....no sorry the diffusers are not in this promotion.
I stated that this is false advertising and the manager said that this was the case.
I left the store very unhappy, without a gift and not wanting to use DUSK again. I now want my membership refunded!

Mutton dressed as lamb
I was gifted the mood mist fragrance oils for Xmas. They smell really nice in the diffuser for all of five minutes, then nothing. I feel bad for my sister who spent a lot of money on these. I understand they are not essential oils, however they are a lot more expensive than various essential oils which actually last until the diffuser stops. Why so expensive when they are not pure? I still have them, and even the scent from sniffing the bottle is all but gone. Cheap product with an expensive price tag!
Fragrant candles with burnt bits everywhere!!
I was given a large Dusk Candle as a gift. While I love the beautiful perfume when lit I am very disappointed that the burnt black wick disintegrates into the candle. This spoils the look completely and even the cheap candles in a jar from Woolworths don’t do this. This certainly is a problem and would stop me buying Dusk candles in the future.. they just look shabby with burnt bits in.
Just lovely staff and beautiful products
I do all of my shopping online so it's very rare I step foot into a physical store. The Stocklands wetherill park store always smells divine and the staff are so knowledgeable, its become ritual for me to visit here every fortnight for a beautiful new scent for my home and also gifts for colleagues and friends. I am never bothered and always greeted with a lovely smile and expert advice.
Fantastic customer service !!!!
Every time I go in the Epping plaza store I have to say Julie is the best . She always welcomes you with her beautiful smile and so friendly. She is also very helpful. Love going to that store............. Grace
Moodmist diffuser
Overly priced and low quality. Better off buying a diffuser for $30 on eBay. Dusk customer service is woeful and they refuse to replace under warranty
Ayla Black MoodMist® Diffuser
Love my new Moodmist, the smells are divine! It fit perfectly with our room! Love the colour change its make the room look really cool. I can smell it throughout our loungeroom its really strong and perfect.
Where has the smell gone?
Terrible product. Paid the big $$ and it was lucky to smell for a day. Save yourself the money and buy one from Aldi instead! A 10th of the price and doesn't lose it' scent like these ones. The reeds are bone dry up the top, they dont allow for the moisture to travel up and release.
Disappointed
I bought a set of 8 on special for $110.. I wasn't happy with any of them.. very little smell... so I thought I would read some reviews... I havn't read one good review... will not be purchasing anything else from there.. Very disappointed.
No Scent in Mood Mist
The oils for the Mood Mist about 3 years ago smelt amazing. Now I add 20 drops and still does not smell. I'm now looking into Doterra. Lost customer here.
Overpriced and toxic
Was gifted a Dusk oil burner and Dusk Melts that smell so bad and triggered my asthma I threw them out. Their website states they contain essential oils, but having worked with essential oils for many years I know cheap fragrant oils when I smell them. I’ve had toilet cleaners smell less toxic than these products.
Very dissapointed
Received this diffuser as a gift. I have several diffusers in my home and have never had an issue with them. The mood mist diffuser is pretty but has never actually created a mist . Unfortunately I received this as a gift and the purchaser did not keep the receipt as it was $120
Poor oils from Dusk
Hey guys I thought I’d share with you my experience with dusk essential oils. I had to use over 5 drops in my diffuser to actually smell the oil, I have now switched to the brand called Young Living which is actually “pure” essential oils and I only need 3 max drops.
Why does the colour of my purple mist diffuser come off when it’s wet. So does the buttons.
My diffuser was purple but when I wet it, it’s colour just came off. I really need an answer please
Dissatisfied would never even rate them
Had a serious complaint with these candles over the Christmas period, had discussions with Dusk and NOTHING was resolved. Very disappointed in their products and after sales service, will never buy again.
What a dud!!!
No fragrance AT ALL!! Looks pretty though. That's why I give it 2 stars. Ecoya or Glasshouse from now on.
Mood Mist diffuser refill smells chemically
I purchased the refill for my existing reed diffuser. It let's off a chemical type smell which is really horrible.
Diffuser moodmist
Stopped working second use first week of purchase. Taking it back for refund. Let’s hope this won’t be as hard to get as the operation of the product has been.
Made In China
Received a Belle Jasmine Dusk gift pack for Christmas. Very disappointed to see it was made in the PRC (Peoples Republic of China). Dusk proudly state on their website they are an Australian company, but then go and get their products manufactured in China. There are some really good companies here in Australia that do candles and oils that are an Australian Company, and which do produce their products here in Australia. I would rather support these companies, than Dusk, a company who produces their stock in China. Start reading the labels.
Extremely Disappointed
Always wanted a mist diffuser & got one for Christmas finally! It mists - sort of - but it spits water all over the place from where the mist comes from. I spoke with Dusk but without a gift receipt I can’t do anything and I don’t want to tell my friend it doesn’t work properly as she’s a kind person and she’s not well - I don’t want to bother or stress her. My $20 Kmart mist diffuser works far better than the $100+ Dusk one. I’m so very disappointed.
Over powering smell..made in China but disgised as PRC...the reed infuser in Strawberries and cream is a fail.
Really stay away from the strawberries and cream reed sent..i had to move it t o the spare room..so overpowering and little like medicine on the aroma..
Waste of money
I bought a dusk steam diffuser for me and my neighbour, as Christmas gift this year.
I realize the diffuser is well packed, but the inside plastic is really soft and not reliable.
Also, I can's smell any scent oil unless I sit next to it.
After hours, I see a lot water on the table. I have to mop it off.
Now it just become decorative light for me now.
And it cost me $109 (origianl $139).
Not happy
Just checked on my soy candles from Dusk Australia&have seen that they are made in China.l won’t be buying these again.if l want crap from overseas l can go to kmart&spend a fraction of the price.candles from Dusk are not cheap, way overpriced for cheap imports
Read the label guys when purchasing from Dusk Australia
Member rewards - rip off
Signed up a few years ago for member rewards. Went to buy an item yesterday and was told my membership had expired so if I wanted the discount I would have to pay another $10 for membership. So I put the item back and will buy elsewhere. How is that for customer loyalty?
Its a SCAM!!!
This company is the biggest online scam in today's date. Doing product dropshipping from china and selling it at 20times the prices. Funny people are still buying lol.
Dusk rip off
Came here to see if it was just me. Purchased candles from Dusk that have no smell, checked with the fam to make sure. First and last time. Hate wasting money like that and miss out on a nicely fragranced candle :-(
Dusk melts that don't melt - Bad quality & expensive
Recently purchased a candle burner and melts for a gift for someone (buy 5 melts for $20 deal), then sales assistant did the upsell to buying another 5 for extra $10 (total 10 melts for $30). Out of the 5 melts I kept for myself, 2 of them do not melt! I have had the burner going for around an hour each time to find the wax is barely melted. The photo attached is the second melt i tried using, had been "melting" for 45 minutes and found it still solid and slightly melted underneath when i moved the melt with my finger. I have been using melts f
... Read moreor years and have had no problems until now with the Dusk melts. I use to buy my candles from Dusk back in the early 2000's, and hadnt purchased from them in the last 10 years until now and notice the quality has definitely changed for the worse as i noticed they are now made in China. I will go back to buying from local candle makers that are better quality and better value. Waste of money, do not recommend buying Dusk candles. No smell
Used to love Dusk! Its a waste of money as the candles and oils dont smell very strong at all anymore and havent for a while. I have wased too much money on this minimal smell product. Will not be buying again.
Diffuser stopped working
I have the same problem. Mine is over a year old and then it just stopped working. I talked to Dusk and they said they can't replace it cuz it's over a year old from purchase and they don't know what's wrong with it. So basically, yeah, that's it. Stuck with an expensive, non -working diffuser. I don't think I will get another one. :(
