Is Dux dependent on mains power?
1 answer
Dux C.Dux
Hi Walter,
All our Continuous Flow units require a power supply to operate the electronics and anti-frost heaters, power is supplied by a 10A weatherproof GPO.
To our understanding other manufacturers might make a Continuous Flow water heater that doesn't require a power source to operate.
Should you have other concerns, you may email [email protected].

Just wondering what the average life of the Dux Endurance Plus 26 is. We have had ours for coming up to twelve years. The ignition spark has stopped working, is this something that can be replaced as the unit seems to be in excellent condition apart from the ignition spark.

What price range
1 answer
Hi Christine T. I am unsure of current pricing, but I purchased my system in January 2022 and from memory it was $1710 for the 17L unit. I have had no issues at all with it and highly recommend this product.

Can this be installed outside

Hi Christine, I believe it must be installed outside due to the nature of the product. Please direct this question to a supplier/installer.

My Dux system doesn't work properly during winter. On the cold mornings, it wont heat up. What is wrong with it?
1 answer
Hi Del, this could be due to a number of factors. Are you on bottle gas or main supply? If you are on bottle, check your levels. How far does the water have to travel? Give it time to heat and reach destination. Has the power starter been turned off? If none of these suggestions help, contact your installer for further advice/help.

The 17L was around $1700 from memory. Absolutely brilliant.
I have a Non-C 26L NG $883 from Bunnings, they also arranged for a local installer, who was able to come the same day, total cost $1,132
