Got this upon many friends' rave. Dyson is just wonderful. I really use this all the time, under different weather circumstances.

This fan is terrific for heating. It produces a "relaxing" non-intense heat that I love. I am not a fan of most heaters because I don't like the feel of hot air blasting towards me, just as I don't like fans blasting air at me.

Big bonus is the air purifier. I have allergies so this really helps me to maintain the level in my room. I can monitor from the app very easily.

Love how I can turn on/off with the app also. Just wish this would get integrated into the Home app on my iPhone!

Can we get a big tower version please?!

So, I’ll start with a positive, the thing looks stunning. Yes it’s plastic, yes it feels flimsy, but if you look at it from a distance it’s gorgeous. Also, it’s shiny.

Now, I had purchased this unit from Bing Lee on the 4th of July and had it start making strange noises on the 10th of July. The first 5 days it had worked flawlessly, however, that came to an abrupt end as we are now unable to sleep with it in the room.

I can't get the app to work. The recommended position is on the floor. I can't tell whether or not the air is clean because from my height - bending down is a problem for me - I can't properly see the display. It is supposed to be picked up by the base, not the loop. Once again, a problem for me. The noise others have referred to wasn't a problem with mine, until I turned it down and it was noisier than before. Dyson helpline had over a 40 minute wait. I will keep it as I like its pure air, but in hindsight I should have bought a dedicated air...

Satisfied with the fan, heating and especially the air purifier. Could improve design by longer cord, bigger size indicator light (A) that turns green when air purifies and to make a larger model for open living areas. Heats and purifies my bedroom in less than 5 minutes then I turn off, but takes a lot longer to heat and purify my open dining, lounge room. I live in Sydney so not too cold. In saying this I am very glad I have it. I love Dyson products. P.S. After reading reviews of leaving the fan on all night for babies, I feel it may dry the air too much. Perhaps check with doctor.

Just got our purifier few days ago. It works well day/night, hot and cool option. Sooo quiet!! Love the auto/night option. The air circulation is very good love it!! Few things worth to take note of. 1 The system is super sensitive, a press from the remote control you are in for a cold/hot services(from low to extremely high temperature) ==> for safety reason it is good if we can have a key lock option for senior/adult/pets/babies. 2. Good if we can have a mechanism/GPS to some how press the unit to find whereabouts the remote control is, sorry...

We bought this year back... And loved it.
Not only because it's dyson...but also the fact it remove e.coli bacteria from air.
Also use as cooling fan it's effective for a standard room but not for big room.
It's not that loud... Little bit...but I don't consider it as loud.
Totally fulling the purpose...worth it
We want something to clean air around premmie baby..

I had read problems about it being noisy when on idle, but we never had issues until more recently. All of a sudden, it's making a loud whirring noise even when it's not in use. Things like this don't usually worry me too much, but this is pretty excessive. Not even going to bother contacting Dyson after my poor experience with them when I had issues with my vacuum cleaner!!!

My tip - if you want innovation and can afford to replace your items every 6-12 months, go for it. At this price point...I wouldn't bot...

Works very well and easy to use. Esp the App lets you to switch on the device remotely which is very handy. Couldn't ask for more. Bit noisy and priced too much. If you have infants in the home thn this is needed. I have owned this product for a couple of months now and it does exactly what it’s supposed to.

Had been pleased with all of my Dyson vacuum cleaners in the past and so decided to try the Dyson Pure Hot+Cool Link. If I had know about how defective this product was, I NEVER would have wasted my money!
Sent unit back twice for high pitched noise issues under warranty. The first time they admitted there was a noise issue and said that they fixed it, but had to send back again and then they said they can't figure out any issue, but that I should turn off the monitoring functions because that's known to cause high pitched noise. I then demand...

Bought this machine when it was on a big discount! really love all the 3 functions it offers. It purifies my room very quickly and makes my room free of dust. I know this through the number of times that I sneeze. I also love how it heats up my room during winter and cools down my room during summer! Strongly recommend it!

We baught this for our nursery to maintain a perfect temperature for our newborn and we absolutely love it!! There's various levels of heat, cooling, fan speeds and self-moving functions. The timer also comes in handy when I feed our little one at night. The best thing about it is that you can feel the difference in the room within 3-4 minutes. It works so well and so quickly. Highly recommend it.

Had this Dyson for just over a year. Mainly using it for the purifier due to my asthma. Heater is great, in summer we use a normal fan because this one hardly touches your skin. A few months after we bought ours, a continuous high pitched whine started from the unit. I have returned it to dyson 3 times for them to fix it. The second time they lost the remote and had to order a new one which I got after the third time I returned the unit for fixing (after having to email them about it numerous times). I have purchased two of these for bedrooms, 1 as a gift for an older child moved out. We all love these Dyson's! They've stopped overnight wheezing. No you can't clean all of the air all of the time, but overnight in your room you can have 8-10+ hours of allergen free breathing, allowing healing and rest, causing inflammation to reduce. This works perfectly as described. I'm thrilled with these, added benefit of the room warm. Love! Only 2000kws. Money well spent. An exceptional preventative.

It’s ok . I had higher expectations for this product! It works more like a glamorised fan than a actual heater/cooler. Nice design, the air filter works well but for its price I was expecting a more powerful heater /cooling power. Overall ok, but for the price you may be better off getting an air conditioning unit.

I got this DYSON Pure Hot + Cool Link Purifier & Fan Black/Nickel 308397, through my Flybuys and it's amazing. Works so well in the heat and cold. ATM it's getting cold here in Melbourne so instead of me lighting the fire, I just put this on and it heats up my lounge room (plus my cat & pug love it too).
Love the App, pretty easy to set up everything. The timer is cool, I just set it then go to sleep.

Unfortunately Dyson jumped the gun with their definition of the hot+cool link; no doubt is a great heater, even greater air purifier but the COOL part is defined as wind passing through your skin or something like that... In other words is just an overly expensive fan that will blow air without cooling it down. Actually I don't know now if this is actually a redefinition of cooling or a smart way to technically tell the truth. I have different Dyson products and have always paid top price for their products but this one is actually a No No.

A recent customer Bec commentee that the product doesn't cool. This is correct. Dyson responded that 'the cooling refers to the affect of air passing on the skin'. This is not correct. The fan, during this very hot aussie summer continuously blew hot air around the room and on to me.. in fact not cooling at all as the hot air 'passed my skin'. Really a very poor excuse for the description guys, and way to try and tell your customers who are buying your expensive products that they are wrong.. really disappointed.

I've read a few reviews and people seem to be happy with the purifying function. I didn't purchase it for that reason although it was a nice to have.

To say it's cools is misleading. It really doesn't. It's just a fan. We we're hugely disappointed when we gave it a go. For such an expensive item expectations were high. They really shouldn't be allowed to continue to market the product in this way. I haven't used the heater but I'm sure that's fine and we'll enjoy the product more when we can use it across seasons.

Yes, it looks nice and the app feature that allows you to turn on and off remotely is good. But I've had about as much joy from a $15 pedestal fan from Kmart.

My son has some sinus problems particularly during the night. I had read some reviews that indicated that the Dyson purifier actually works. I was a little sceptical, but wanted something that would help my son sleep a little better at night.

I am happy to say that the purifier does help my son sleep at night. He sets it for about an hour using the remote control that can magnetically rest on top of the unit. As an added bonus it is a fan that can either heat up the room in winter or cool down the room in summer.

Most useless fan ever. I bought it and it was already malfunctioning within under 3 weeks. I admit it looks awesome and has a modern look but it has definitely been an unhappy purchase for me. I read a few reviews before purchasing this product and it looked promising. Too bad I can't say the same.

Basically I leave it on my son's bedroom as he has a bad hey fever and this fan can pure the air which is good for him. And it does not make much noise and very useful both in winter and summer. And it is very safe for kids too.

This fan has both hot and cold air conditioning which is good to use. It is quiet small and can be put in a single bed room for one person using. The fan doesn’t have much noise but still disturbing me when I sleep at night. As for the price, it’s cheaper than target

I purchase the Dyson Pure Hot + Cool Link about a year ago. It is an excellent fan design ever and I use it for the kids. It is very safe before it doesnt have a blade. Although it is a bit expensive But i think it is well worth the price.

While the cooling power in the summer isn’t as good as other fans, it is one of the best heaters on the market. Additionally, the air purifier provides me with relief from impurities in my room while providing me with interesting information. Where I was once kept up all night from nasal problems, I am able to sleep well again.

The Dyson pure cool link appliance does not live up to advertised functions. It hardly blows any wind and certainly does NOT “Intelligently purifies and cools you.” - to quote the proclaimed edict in the box. For the price of the appliance, it was certainly not value for money as it has not done the job of cooling.
