Great service
I though I had a battery issue with my stick vac and got on line all set to by a replacement. The on-line chat operator asked me some questions and offered to troubleshoot my issue - turns out it was dirty filter issue and was rectified without a cost of a battery

Doesn’t work. Simple
Bought cordless vac - it doesn’t work. Surges on and off. Dyson says there is a blockage. Clearly there isn’t one, just fobbing me off. Same issue with same model in workplace.

Dyson Vacuum cleaners are NOT worth the money.
I have only had my vacuum cleaner for going on 2 years. Have done all the maintenance, but it can't cope with long hair. What vacuum cleaner can't cope with long hair? I spend more time cleaning out the swivel hear than I do actually using the vacuum cleaner. DO NOT buy one of these vacuums.

Dyson barrell cord vacuum cleaner
Bought a dyson barrel cord vacuum cleaner on reputation, everyone said they were great - NOT SO! One day post warranty run out it has just stoppled sucking anything, dust, fluff, nothing... really, really disappointing. What happened to quality like the old Elextrolux, lasted me 28 years. Doesn't this generation of manufacturers do quality? Will never buy Dyson again or listen to the rubbish that they advretise.

Amazing customer service
Have a v6 animal that keeps cutting out early after it being very good for a while. Rang their customer service line, they replaced my battery even though it was just out of warranty. Very pleasing

Regards to after service re spare parts. So quick with delivery. Very efficient.
Each time I have dealt with Dyson I would relate the service 10 out 10. And the product v6 animal brilliant. It is a pity other businesses are not as professional as Dyson.

Dyson Stick Battery replacement
I ordered a battery from Dyson for my stick vacuum and within 1 week it had arrived and was so easy to fit.
Im so glad i was told about this as it only cost me $80 instead of $500 for a new vacuum.

Poor Customer Service
Appearing care about you but offering you a lot of lines such as “polices, this is what and how we do”. The machine is a great product, no doubt about it, but do not count on customer service if problem comes up. That is all I am saying.

Fab product, amazing customer service.
DC59. Worked a dream, out of warranty, funny noise. Called Dyson, sorted over the phone with repair instructions. Now years later battery dying. Called Dyson, bought a new one over the phone, they messaged an instructional vid to install. Compared to all of my other household appliances, Dyson service has been outstanding for us.

Can’t live without it

Dyson repairs
We have a Dyson Animal Stick, about five years old. Recently it stopped working, and we contacted Dyson and they diagnosed that the battery had failed, and charged us $80 for a new battery, which we replaced the original, but alas that did not solve the problem.
We contacted Dyson and they requested that we send it in for repair, and they would pay the postage both ways! Which was a pleasant surprise. Dyson told us that they would provide a quote for any repairs and if we decided not to proceed, they would send back our Dyson at no charge, I.e....Read more

I had trouble with 2 batteries i called the help line both times and they were really great with send me 2 new batteries and no cost because the 1st battery died after only having the cleaner for less than a year. I would love my Dyson its the best vaccum cleaner i have ever had.

Too old to upgrade.
Have the V6 absolute vaccum. Wanted to upgrade but it's too old to be eligible. Disappointing to hear that you spend alot for a vaccum and not be able to trade in later on.

I wanted to write to you to and give you some feedback on the customer service that my husband experience with Madison at your Melbourne location
In this day and age customer service is often seen as something that we don’t have time for. My husband took our cordless vacuum into because it wasn’t working and Madison offered him above and beyond customer service. Told him how we could use the vacuum to get the best out of it, a timeline for it to be repaired and all of this with the best customer service on the side
Thank you so much Dyson, we already loved your product, but this has cemented our loyalty and we will be telling everyone

Dyson hair dryer
I want to highlight to all potential Dyson hair dryer customers that you will be paying 5 times more for your hairdryer than the mainstream brands but you still only get the same 1 year warranty. I bought my wife the hairdryer when it first launched in July 2016 for $995. Today it refused to work keep stopping after 3-5 seconds. So whilst they move corporate HQ to Singapore to avoid tax and put a $1 million jet in the engineering canteen to inspire the staff they have lost sight of the fact that it is the customer who funds the whole operation. V11 Lasted ONE Day
My new V11 absolute Pro arrived yesterday unpacked charged to 100% and used it this morning. Put away back on charge went to check on charge no display at all, I pressed the button nothing. Removed charge cable still nothing. No display and no go. Called Dyson no offer to send me a replacement I have to send it back to them.
Sent it back to Dyson this afternoon and I will update you with how they look after me.
Repaired unit arrived back today looks OK looks like they pretty well replaced the whole unit but very hard to tell from the generic information provided.
One week turn around allowing for freight and the weekend not too bad at all.
Lets hope I have no more problems.

Beyond terrible customer service/ post sales
I bought 3 dyson products last Nov2018. 2 of the 3 already broke (v10 and am09 in less than 8 mos! I have sent the am09 4 times back for repair - called and emailed customer service as it is no longer fair for me to keep sending the machine back to them coming back to me with the same issue! I was never offered any replacement but instead they kept saying it has to be assessed before they can make any decisions. not working. I can’t believe how inconsiderate dyson is to let us go through winter without any heater for 2 mos (as the machine keeps coming back and forth to them and us). Whenever we would receive the machine, I literally would have to jump on the phone to ring the customer service because the issue was not fixed. Given the amount of money we paid for the items, I would have expected more from this company. No escalation point or anything. It feels like they are leaving their customers after they have taken the money. They don’t care about consumer rights. They caused more inconvenience than benefit to be honest.2 comments

r the Australian Consumer Law - this is supposed to be within the "acceptable" standards. The vacuum is better than the customer care
My Dyson cordless vacuum stopped working with what I assume to be battery failure. A google search indicated there are 2 replacement options for my unit - either a 2100mAh and a 3000mAh. I looked to purchase the replacement on the Dyson website and noted hat the only specification offered on the website is the weight of the battery. After waiting in line on the “Live chat” I received this advice:

Approximately 1.10pm today being a Sunday, I phoned the customer care number, I hardly waited at all to speak with someone. For the last week my partner and I noticed the V6 was just not working properly (2nd time it has had a fault and needed a replacement part). I told her she is not listening to me and that she is being frigging rude. What is the point of saying to register your machine online when it clearly doesn’t work...have tried on several occasions and checked the serial number each time but it says it’s an invalid seri al number ..we bought a V7 stick vacuum from Aldi in Kingaroy on the 19/12/2019...serial number as I am reading it now is G3B-AU-MJR7927A.....can you help ???
