You have to manually remove the mop tank from the unit and drain the water when switching to carpet. I ended up just running it on carpet without the tank installed. It gives it a nose-down attitude since weight is missing from the back but it works fine.

It would be a good idea to go to the Ecovas - Deebot site and contact the tech people for Ecovacs and ask them.

Select the 600 follow the prompts and it will come up with the 610 model.

Their app was missing from the app store around the time you submitted your question. I was in contact with their tech support and during that time it reappeared. I think it's the Ecovacs Home app. I ran into the same problem as another reviewer on here - their app setup was very complicated and didn't work for me.

I am not sure; I have never had problem like that.
Deebot does warn however that they will not function correctly with WiFi signal from certain Netgear WiFi modems.
Deebot does have an Internet site and they have a tech online help.

610 Ozmo doesn't have a QR code.
I had the same problem, took me many attempts. Make sure the wifi is set to 2.4, turn unit on, press and hold the reset button until it beeped several times, hit go on the phone, sat my phone directly on-top of the vac and it finally connected.

Thanks for the info will have a look at it again when I have enough time and let you know if i am successful

I have found it cleans all the surfaces in our house.
However we only have standard thick pile carpet, not shag pile.
I am not sure how long the pile on your carpet is.
I think it would be a good idea to go to a shop that sells Deebots robotic vacuums and ask them whether it will work on shag pile carpet.
I am aware Harvey Norman sells Deebots.
