Worst Service
First came across the business last year. Asked a question on a product. Staff had no idea. Referred to the online brochure, which did not have the answer to my question.
Fast forward to 2020. I needed to buy an item sold by Edisons and another online retailer based in Vic with bad reviews. Chose Edisons, being Sydney based and to reduce purchase risk by going through Ebay and paying a bit more. in Sydney. It takes one week for delivery through their courier, based in Victoria, who are very difficult to reach by phone. Edisons only communicate via email and it can take 3 days to get a response. Edisons promote a 15% discount on the first item, if one has subscription with them. What they do not and can not clearly say, even after several emails, is whether the discount applies to the original listed price or the latest webpage posted price. Their staff do not understand simple questions and over the last few days has not been able to give me a clear answer on the simple question: Is the 15% subscription discount applied to original listed price (which is what I think is the case) or to the current posted price? The staff keep mixing up the issue with an item already purchased and the question relating to the subscription discount on an item not yet purchased. Summary: Edisons.com.au staff have no idea of what they are selling. Staff do not understand the simplest of questions put to them, which is most annoying. Response to emails can take 2-3 days. Pick up of items is inconvenient with the warehouse open for a very limited few hours Mon-Fri. Edisons use a delivery courier based in Vic and their 1300 number will place you on lengthy hold, repeating a prerecorded message.2 comments

. Edisons can not even get the invoice right. I paid an amount and got a different amount on the invoice. Explanation given: discount was involved. That would never pass proper accounting. Excellent trolley
When ordering the trolley I compared the Bullet brand of Edisons to others for price and quality of workmanship. On arrival my thoughts were confirmed as it was even better than depicted.
My only concern was that one of the locking swivel casters was missing. Edisons were quick to rectify that omission.
All up well worth buying.

Great products with fast delivery
Despite being on a rural property in the Hunter Valley, the welder was received in less time than anticipated - very impressed with the very quick processing time and super fast free delivery. Bought a few things from Edison's, and they have always been of good quality and fit for purpose.

Customer service matters when there is issue or problem. Most of people who wrote positive review, actually, wrote about product rather than edisions. It is like giving positive review to dealer if your toyota car runs fine.

JetUSA 3800PSI Pressure Washer
This is an excellent pressure washer. It has fantastic power and I really like the different knobs you can attach for different jobs. Its built very well; steel connections, strong hose etc. Mine came with heaps of attachments and 20 meters of extra hose. So that gave me 30m of hose! I cleaned my whole roof and the pressure washer stayed on the ground the whole time. It cut through the grime and algae like butter! The photo shows the before and after.

Greatest heap of s??t I have ever bought.
As I am 78 years old and still mobile when I saw the Powerblade self-propelled mower for sale I jumped at it. Delivery was quick but that is the only positive I have. After one or two jobs mowing the lawn I had trouble starting the mower. True, you were quick to give me the name of a mower repair person in Brisbane who fixed it. After two more mows the fuel line became ripped so petrol was not getting to the engine. ight. As stated this is the greatest heap of s??t I have ever bought. Given that I bought this thing in November 2018 warranty has run out. During the time I had the mower I spent three months overseas so the number of times I used it was not often. I would not and could not recommend this range of mower to anyone. The best thing you could do, even though it is out of warranty, is to give me my money back.2 comments

Value for money
The 82cc chainsaw I bought is great value for money. Does a good job without the massive price tag of leading brand chainsaws. Edisons also offer super fast delivery and have good backup support with other products I've purchased.

Excellent Pump
Appears to be a well built submersible pump. Very good pressure for what we are using it for. Our last pump had apparently stainless steel screws which rusted away within 12 months. So hopefully this will not be an issue with this pump. Time will tell.
However, on appearances alone, this seems an overall better quality product compared to our previous pump from another supplier.

Does the job well.
I have been after an impact wrench for quite a while, and when this one came up at a good price, I jumped at it. I thought this larger model may be too big, but having used it a bit (I've only had it about a month and a half) I've found that the extra torque settings are needed for tightening larger nuts & bolts. This model is big and heavy, so it would be awkward to use under a car or in other confined spaces, so the smaller model may be more suitable.
All in all, I am very happy with this impact wrench. Having struggled with tight fasteners for years, I finally bit the bullet and bought this wrench and have been very happy with it so far.

Easy to assemle and really easy to operate. The hopper is the perfect size for a single bag of fertiliser.it has cut my time taken down by nearly 2 hours.

Painful purchase experience, go elsewhere!
It is hard to believe that Edisons actually has positive reviews.
I purchased a petrol pump which was too heavy for Australia Post to deliver so I had to drive 40 min round trip to the post office to collect it.
Pump was faulty and another headache to get Edisons to arrange courier to pick it up as it is too heavy for Australia Post (28kg)
They then delayed providing a refund for over 2 weeks after receiving the pump so I phoned ebay to step in and provide the refund.
I would not reccomend Edisons to anyone after this experience.

When I checked the reviews on Google and this website it appears that many of their reviews are very recent but are very general. For example, they do not state the product that was purchased and they also state that the customer service is great! When you investigate further and check reviews with specific products you will see numerous examples of no contact from Edisons. Despicable conduct and I have requested ASIC and scam watch to review the Company. This is especially pertinent give the headline on the company website regarding selling fake Toyota snorkels and being ordered to provide full refund. Depends where the delivery address is. Did you purchase directly from Edisons or through Ebay? Within Greater Metro area? If so, you should already have emailed Edisons. What I have learnt is that it is better to buy via Ebay, so that Ebay can get involved in solving problems. I am guessing that Edisons will say they are going through a very busy period, hence the delay. In that case Edisons need to adjust the expected delivery dates before an item is sold. Customer Service at Edisons is very bad. Makes me wonder how it is they are still in business. Edisons management obviously do not care. If Bluestar is being as courier, ringing them is a waste of time. You will be on hold listening to a pre-recorded message for who knows how long. My advice: keep emailing and asking questions.
