The item I bought worked well and at a good price. My only issue was the time it took to be delivered. However it was essentially my fault as I didn't realise what pre-sale meant. Overall I have no problems with the seller.

Depends where the delivery address is. Did you purchase directly from Edisons or through Ebay? Within Greater Metro area? If so, you should already have emailed Edisons. What I have learnt is that it is better to buy via Ebay, so that Ebay can get involved in solving problems. I am guessing that Edisons will say they are going through a very busy period, hence the delay. In that case Edisons need to adjust the expected delivery dates before an item is sold. Customer Service at Edisons is very bad. Makes me wonder how it is they are still in business. Edisons management obviously do not care. If Bluestar is being as courier, ringing them is a waste of time. You will be on hold listening to a pre-recorded message for who knows how long. My advice: keep emailing and asking questions.

I agree. Will give you peace of mind, and you may even get to talk to someone. Unlike Edison's.

Update: since my last review Edison’s reached out with a phone call and Facebook message. After a simple online product return submission process I took the mulcher into Edison’s seven hills location where the booked service technician quickly repaired and handed the mulcher back in under an hour. All good and happy with the Edison’s experience. Tip: check your spam email folder for Edison’s correspondence.

Hi Alan, would be interested to know if they ever resolved your problem. I had an order cancelled with no correspondence. Trying to contact them to enquire about the product or a refund as I was charged.
I have checked a lot of reviews and there seems to be a lot of reviews in recent months with 5 star ratings, but no product description.

Check the exhaust pipe or muffler, it could be blocked with a build up of unburnt carbon. I have taken the mufler off before and started the saw without it on. (you will need earmuffs on)

Hi Joe,

I haven't struck this problem myself with this particular piece of equipment, but sometimes my brushcutter does the same thing if the throttle control on the handle has slipped down the shaft and causes it to tighten the throttle cable, therefore upping the revs. It will also rev faster if it is not getting enough air, so check the air filter. That's about all I can offer, as you have already tried the obvious.

Yep the throttle mount isn’t screwed on probably and moves up and down that’s what caused me the same problem Ps be very careful with these units mate they are very poorly made and very dangerous trust me!

Gee you say that after i have contacted your customer service department many times only to be called a liar and to be told you won’t honour the warranty because you blame the user and now your telling me that it’s not advisable to write an honest review is that a threat???? So it’s very important for me that I let everyone know who’s thinking of buying one of your dangerous products please don’t because your polesaws are so dangerous I fear something will get serious injured or killed you people should not be allowed to sell these dangerous dodgy products...... Please don’t be fooled by there fake reviews..........

Now a day later Nothing ?just in case you people fron Edisons are reading its a 15 drawer bullet brand chest .
Used for 1 day the lock came out in my hand and the chest is locked off,and the 9 drawer unit above has a badly mfg runner .

Hi I’m sorry but I have not purchased any DJ equipment, but if if it’s anything like the items that I’ve purchased so far it will be fine.
