Ok on floors and quick carpet touch up but don't expect too much.
Purchased this (the plus version) so that I can vacuum the floors (epoxy - flat) in the kitchen and dining instead of sweeping. It's ok. It doesn't get everything from the edges or corners as well as I expected (I expected everything to be picked up without having to undo the hand held and bending over to do it) and obviously doesn't do the skirting without undoing the hand held and adding the attachment. On the plus side, I can whip off the handheld and give the chairs a quick once over as I'm going past.
I'm glad I got it on special as payin...
Fantastic
Love it! Previously had a vax but the battery wouldn't recharge after a year of use and we were told it was cheaper to buy another vacuum then a battery! Anyway was given he Electrolux and boy do I love it! Great for all those little messes of toast crumbs on the couch and dog hair on the rug. I even use it to vacuum my whole house when I can't be bothered dragging the big vacuum out! Love the light on the head so you can see the dirt in dark corners and very easy to manoeuvre.
Swivel head, suction, detachable dust buster.
Won't stand up on its own (leaning against a wall etc) unless it's back on its base.

Easy cordless vacuuming
I live in a small apartment, and it is a great vacuum for using several times a week. I like how there are no cords to get in my way, and can move about freely and finish the apartment in about 5 - 10 minutes. The power starts to fade around the 7 - 10 minute mark. It picks up the usual debris and is easy enough to empty. The round plastic ring broke after a month or so, but you don't really need it. I bought it at a good price on special.
Unfortunately my ZB2902 stopped charging a few days ago (03/10/2012), and it has only been about 2 year...
Read mores 1 month (bought on 29/08/2010), which is only a month over the warranty!!! Hopefully I can send it for repair and it doesn't cost too much. Edit 22/01/2014: Found out around Oct 2012 that the adaptor didn't work, so I bought a cheap eBay replacement. The unit now charges, but only lasts for about 1 minute before stopping. Cordless, easy to empty, LED lights in front Stopped charging only few days over warranty
Hi Sylvia, I just noticed your comment. I emailed the customerservice centre, hope to hear from you.
Loved this product, but it doesn't last. Do not buy!
I purchased my Electrolux ZB2901 as my first cordless vacuum cleaner and I was really happy with it but eventually the on and off button started to play up. When I turn it on, a few seconds later it turns off by its self, not only that but the suction power has also reduced a lot even tough it is on recharge all the time.
Would not recommend this product if you want a cordless vacuum cleaner for long term use.
Easy to vacuum around the house, rather then taking out the bigger vacuum.
Keeps turning off, constantly need to press the on button but even then stops after a few seconds. Suction power has also reduced. Not recommended!!!

Extremely Dissapointed
My vacuum model zb2901 worked great initially, but don't be fooled you will be lucky to get a years use out of this before the on/off button plays up, mine is always on re-charge stand but when in use I push the on switch and not long after it turns off by itself. I had recommended to my mother and sister who both brought one and now my mums is playing up with the same problem, lucky hers is under warrenty. I would not recommend this again.
Doesn't last
Hi Jane,
We are sorry to hear you are experiencing problems with your ZB2901, and would appreciate the opportunity to discuss them with you.
Could you please either email your contact details and best...
Same issue with mine too. It was given to me as a gift as the person didn't use it. This product didn't even last 12 months.
This issue should have been resolved by Electrolux as soon as the problem was recognised by your customers.
Great Vacuum, we have 6 in our family, but now starting to have troubles
Electrolux Ergorapido ZB2901, we love these vacuums in our family, we all have one in each of our houses, we rated so highly (after mum brought her one) so hardy for small cleans. However her one is now giving her troubles.
Power on/off switch seems faulty, when we push the button to start cleaning it just powers off, she had to start holding the button for the entire vacuum session, now that doesn't seem to work for her, turns off whenever it likes, she has to press the button heaps of times, then it goes, then dies.
Shame as she really lo...

Zb2943 18v Electrolux vacuum
I purchased Zb2943 18v Electrolux vacuum 3/5/12, on 10/1/13 - 7months later it does not hold charge. In less than 12 months it's broken. They won't give me a replacement. I'm not impressed with Electrolux's service. Holds charge for 10mins not 20. I do not recommend this product! Electrolux in Melbourne do not care about keeping their customers happy!
Handheld
Not hold charge after 7 months old, when working vacuum for 10min on high.

Read moreacement, at their discretion. In your case there would be no need for a repair, as the only problem you are experiencing is battery life this can be easily rectified by a repair agent.I just bought it on 28/4/2013, sales girl told me, if fully charged, it can holds for about 30 min., but i keep it charged for more than 13 hrs, overnight, it holds for only
10 min, what should i do ...?
Apparently it lasts 30 mins on min power, but only about 12 mins on max power. Min power should be fine for tiled/timber floors; max for carpet.

Cheap rechargable vacuum
This one is actually a replacement for a faulty ZB2904B. My ZB2904B's battery died after 6 months and Electrolux replaced it with the ZB2942. So far this current model is great. it sucks well and has this new feature that can help to remove hair from the rollers. That is a handy invention that saves me the need to cut out the hair with a pair of scissors. All you have to do is step on the brush roll cleaning button for a few second and the hairs disappears from the rollers. However I'm still worry this will have the same battery issues as the Z...
Read moreB2904B. Its worth the risk as I was told that I'm the only that reported this battery issue and it is reasonably cheap. Cheap. sufficiently strong, great for small apartments, no need to cut hairs from rollers. May have the same battery issue as my last one- 4 reviews

Excellent product
I just bought the latest 18V Lithium version (model ZB2942) and it charges to full in 4 hours. This is an excellent secondary vacuum cleaner and its design is meant for light tasks but it really is very useful as a standby to pick up small spills, crumbs, hair etc. The vacuum suction is more than sufficient for such jobs. The battery is the lithium-ion type and lasts about 20 minutes using the higher power mode. The fact that the smaller handheld can be detached makes this a very useful duo cleaner as this means my car is now spotless inside! A...
Read morell in all, if you buy this as a secondary cleaner to complement your main vacuum cleaner, you won't regret the purchase as it really is a very good product. I recommend it highly. It is designed to be good looking, something you won't mind to be displayed in some corner of the living room. The only thing that can be improved in future is for a better longer lasting battery. Excellent design for duo-use. Good suction and very handy for small jobs. great design, practical and good-looking Now, if only it can run for an hour...- 5 reviews

Excellent
It's wonderful.
As soon as I used it, I wanted to get another one.
I'm totally amazed at it, especially since I heard a lot of critisism about cordless vacuum sticks.
I love vacuuming, it makes vacuuming a joy, fun and so easy.
I was amazed. It's wonderful.
It arrived in the mail today ($165 including shipping) in a nicely designed box. It worked straight away.
I vacuumed my room and was astonished at how much it picked up.
It's easy to remove the dirt.
It's so lightweight and easy to maneuver
it has lights so you can see what you are vacuuming

Love it, cuts my time and place is clean
I purchased my 18w ZB2907 2 in 1 as a spare cleaner for newly installed timber floor over four months ago, since then I haven't used the old one at all. It' very light and easy to maneuver around furniture, I'm able to finish whole two bedroom unit and battery still last for an other job. I did my homework and got the best price of $220 at Good Guys and it's well money spent.
Price, light weight, small light on a brush makes dust easier to see, 2 in 1 design
Does not come close enough to walls or furniture for the dust to be picked up
