Brilliant
I brought this Vacuum over a year ago, but given it to.my daughter as she has 3 children, 2 dogs and 1 bird. So between snacks on the floor there is dog hair and bird feathers. I got myself a Kmart one. Each time I use the Electrolux at my daughter's, I miss it because it is light, funtastic suction and easy to use. When finish vacuuming, the dirt stays inside. With the Kmart one it always falls out. Defenitly recommend the Electrolux. Looking around at the moment for good deals to replace my Kmart one.

Brilliant.
Lugging a very good but heavy vacuum cleaner around became a nightmare and I investigated the cordless stick style vacuum cleaners and haven't looked back. The ease of use is unquestioned and I no longer feel exhausted after vacuuming. It is excellent on both tiles and carpet. The length of time it can be used isn't great before recharging is needed but it is so easy to use and does such a brilliant job that I'm happy to live with that. I can usually manage most of the house before the charge goes. The fact that it is so simple means I am prepared to use it until it needs charging and then finish later.
Without doubt, one of the best purchases I've made.

Battery didn't last..
I have two of these appliances, one for upstairs and one for down; the battery in this model has started to cut out after about two minutes, even though it is fully charged at the start. The battery in the older appliance holds its charge for much longer and both appliances are used every day. I can still get ten minutes of vacuum time out of the older appliance. The cordless stick vacuum is a brilliant concept and very handy and simple to use for a quick run around the tiled floor or to pick up dry spills and cleaning the car. I liked the first one so much I bought the second but I will have to rethink whether I buy another one or try different brand. Replacing the battery is uneconomic.

Brilliant little machine
Love this vacuum cleaner. It's lightweight and easy to use. For an inexpensive cleaner it does just what I need and has quite a decent suction on it. I have always swore y the brand I was using but I would not use any other cleaner now. Cordless means I can run it around the house easily and it has a decent enough battery life to do whole house in one go.

Junk Do Not Buy
I’m not happy with this product at all. I regret spending the money on what I believed to be a better product. Can’t get 5 minutes out of it before the piece of JUNK dies. Save your money! I thought Electrolux was a good brand and have had 2 that lasted 30 years between the 2.

Works well!
We living in a city apartment that is carpeted/tiled. We like this vacuum as it is doesn't take too much space and it is easy to use. We don't think it would work well for those living in houses or have a larger space to clean. It does the bare minimal.
We find that the vacuum is not the most strongest when it comes to picking up crumbs etc. off the ground, so we need to vacuum over the same spot twice sometimes and the vacuum bag fills up quite fast. It does a better job cleaning tiles.
The thing I like most about this vacuum is that it is lightweight, its not too noisy compared to the bigger vacuums and you don't have to worry about tripping over cables.

Very happy with this vac !!
I purchased the Electrolux Ergorapido (2 in 1) approx 5 months ago after reading its review in Choice magazine online. It is so easy to use, lightweight, quiet with two speeds and extremely flexible to manoeuvre around furniture. I use it on tiles, floorboards and rugs so in other words my whole house. It is easy to empty and because it is a 2 in 1 the smaller unit that can be detached which is great for cleaning the interior of the car. I did test out another well known brand before I purchased the Electrolux Ergorapido but I found it to heavy for my semi arthritic hands. I like its look colour and it sits in my laundry on its charging mount for ready use on a daily basis. Great for dog hairs also

Can't fault it! Don't use my Philips bagless anymore!
Bougth it couple of months ago from Briscoes for $180NZ and I've been extremely impressed with this little fella. Been cordless was the main reason I bought it and it does a brilliant job in picking up all the hairs from our pooches and all other rubbish that you usually find on the floors, corners etc. It does surprisingly great job in corners and leave nothing behind. Been new battery always last longer than I need for vacuuming couple of rooms. Great feature with the stand and LEDs letting you know how much of juice is left in the battery and how long until full charge. Brilliant little vacuum.

perfect for bedsitters
they did a very good on this vacuum cleaner for a cordless upright. it picks up everything it has good suction and its pretty quiet too.
it takes up next to no room to store which is crucial if you live in a tiny home.
it also swivels well, i used it on my short to medium height synthetic carpet.

So disappointed
This is the second version we have had. The first one was fantastic and lasted 4 years. The one we have now, like the other reviews, the battery doesn't last long enough for me to do two rooms. For the price I think it's a rip-off. I guess we will have to find another brand. The convenience of a cordless that actually picks up everything whether hard surface or not is fantastic. I wish this one would have lasted because, apart from the battery, it's a great product.

Weak on suction and batteries
I am quite disappointed. Vacuum does not have good suction.
Batteries are weak, not enough time for 10 minutes to work!!!
Yes it's good for people with spine or hip problems but still is not convenient to charge after short period and plus suction is not working well on carpet floor.
I am looking now for something stronger vacuum with similar stick futures.
Would not recommend.

Handy vac for small spaces
We use it for our houseboat, therefore being 18v makes sense.
It does Not have a great battery time, however its all we need.
the Fittings make getting into small places a breeze like window spaces
lightweight easy to manoeuvre nice colour
Fits nicely in a small corner
thank you

this vacuum doesn't suck... literally!
The way Electrolux are willing to forget they made this model shows their commitment (or lack there of) If you are considering purchasing a similar model - see yourself in 2 years time this expensive purchase will no longer charge properly ie. run for about 5 minutes (no joke) and hardly have any suction as the filter parts are impossible to get are fully clogged so the motor has overloaded at least a year ago.

I was told always leave on recharge, never switch recharge off unless going away for a few days.
I don’t think it’s the battery
It has been unplugged now since Xmas and still starts and works fine using the handheld part
It’s just when I try and use the stick that it stops
See if the beater bar brush is clean. Mine was wound up with thread and a dryer laundry sheet. I cleaned it off, put it back in place, locked it in and presto! It works again!

What difference zb3107 vs zb3114?
1 answer
The Zb3107 is a slightly older model and have less power. Zb3114, is one generation after that. There are various improvement, especially in terms of suction power. I have the Zb3114. However if you compare it to other brands like dyson, it still lacks abit of power. The machine is also quite chucky and not good with tight places like behind and under the couch.

Only just over a month old, suddenly cut out after only 10 mins of vacuuming, bottom orange light flashes quickly for a few minutes, popped it into the recharger, been there for over 14 hours and still nothing, when you press the start button the orange light flashes quickly again (bottom one) then goes out after about 30 secs. Tried taking it out and reinserting into recharger a few times with no difference. Please advise?
