Does what its designed to do- really well
Replaced our previous electrolux oven, which was ok, . This one is Much better . Seems to get hotter at same temp settings, which in turn seems to cook better . Makes us think the other ( ex store display) was a dud.. First roast pork had better crackling than any previous attempts.
Stays cleaner for longer, But as yet not needed the pyro clean cycle. The previous oven had catalytic cleaning system, absolute rubbish, and made normal cleaning more difficult. (read - hard and time consuming.)The pyro clean was a big selling point, if its as g...

Much better than our old oven
We bought two of these because two single ovens were cheaper than a double pyrolytic oven. We mounted them one above the other, and then switched off the clock on the bottom oven. The clock keeps it time during short power outages, but the "clock off" setting is forgotten and we end up with two clock displays...
Our older oven that we replaced used to burn food at the back and be raw at the front. These ovens are a major improvement - it cooks food evenly and is easy to use. I like having a choice of timer or auto-turn-off.
We have only needed...
Read more to use the pyrolytic clean on one oven and only once in the six months that we've had them. The oven nags you if it thinks it needs cleaning. The shelves and runners are fairly easy to remove, and when the cleaning cycle was finished there were a few small piles of ash at the bottom. No breakdowns or any issues at all so far, and we're happy with them. .
Purchased in September 2018 at The Good Guys Physical store.
Questions & Answers
Mine comes with two extensions rails and is recommended to fit on the bottom and third rail up BUT this really leaves no space for the third manual rack. Kinda disappointed as there is a lot of space unused because of the height of these extension rails when installed. All I could come up with is extension rail 2nd from top and extension rail second from bottom leaving space for the manual rack on the bottom. A bit of a disappointing design fault really. Yes it does work out too small for my needs. New one week old.
Does any one else have issues with the sliders falling apart?
Like the little clips that attaches to the rails falling off.
evep616sc Telescopic rails now flying out / sliding out of the oven when you open the door - even with a rack of food, the rack still flies out to meet you. The oven was installed in the cabinet and is set high with spacers underneath it already, and it can't be moved any higher up. How can we solve this issue ?
