Unfriendly over rated
Compared to Qatar airways there is no comparison . Unfriendly staff fake smiles ! I flew Business class as I do with Qatar it was like a normal economy flight except you had a bed! Hundreds of people in business class not what I expected! Queuing for the toilet through the lounge bar! What I ridiculous layout! No privacy at all!
Bed not comfortable and narrow no room to put all your belongings . Limited films to watch or programs, food not great at all .. no service to speak of . On Qatar they are so lovely and attentive and come all the time...Read more

Terrible service and attitude from staff, extremely disappointed
Was flying from Shanghai to Dubai via the emirates airline, I’m a frequent flyer(5+ times per year). During the flight, the flight attendant were no where to be found, I waited patiently and asked a staff 3 times for a coke. I ended up going to the back and asking for it. Flight attendants are good looking but had attitudes, no smile, yelling at passengers etc.
I was very disappointed with the overall experience with Emirates airline, I’ll not recommend it to anyone and I’ll certainly not use it again ever.

Despicable treatment. .
Frequently use this airline. Ground staff at Sydney hopeless. Told to cancel a upgrade by airport staff. So to allow for a better upgrade. But once cancelled. Told no.we won't allow you to upgrade.

Emirate - top airline ?
We traveled on 5 flights with Emirates during Oct/Nov19 - only one flight was of good quality(Dubai to Milan).
Issues with Emirates
No communication when flights are cancelled
Cabin crew has moral/service/internal issues

worst experience one of booking partner of emirates :oppodo
I did a booking for 5 passenger in emirates flight from kochi to dubai through travel agent partner of emirates oppodo and requested for name change for one of the passenger. The airline name change
' fee is $40 whereas the oppodo service charge is $60. That's fine, I told them I am happy to pay $100. Then they told us that I need to $350as as one off payment and $250 will be refunded back to my account within 13 days. I don't have a choise and agreed to pay $350. Parents with children
On their website, Emirates states that they do not separate parents from children aged under 13. Unfortunately this is not true. I booked in online (47 hours before the flight), only to find that I was seated a couple of rows away from my children. This is in spite of confirming on 3 separate occasions that our bookings are linked. I rang customer service only to be told that there was nothing they could do, but maybe I could ask on-board to change. The thought of not being close enough to help my children if there is an emergency horrifies me. Not good enough, Emirates.

Good flight.
I have flown twice from Brisbane to London, and both trips have been good. The seats were comfortable with ample leg room.The food is reasonable and you get plenty of it, and also complimentary alcoholic drinks, including beer and spirits. The staff are also very helpful, and there is plenty to watch including tv and movies.

luggage delivery delayed
After waiting for 5 months, I was offered $50 compensation for personal expenses incurred for having my luggage delivered back to me after 35 hours, with broken glass contents!

The services on the flight were beyond disappointing. I was recommended Emirates by friends and colleagues, as the best business class from Sydney to Europe. many colleagues and friends. I was disappointed to discover that the 14-hour flight from Dubai to Sydney did not have a lie flat bed (nor did Rome to Dubai, however this was only 5 hours). More importantly, the service was appalling. My salad was rotting (attached photo) and my entre was still frozen (attached photo). My TV repeatedly broke down during the flight (attached photo). The flight was largely full, so we could not be moved to another two seats seated close to one-another. After raising this and the other issues with the airhostess, she became quite rude. Beyond our experience on the flight, upon boarding the flight at Dubai we were delayed as a result of poor organisation at the airport for the duty-free items we had purchased in Rome. We had to provide these to be boxed and sealed, which was not the issue. The person who was doing this task, kept our boarding passes for the purposes of printing the tags to put on the boxes. However, we saw people who arrived after us, receive their boarding passes and board the flight before us, notwithstanding repeatedly asking for the gentleman to return our boarding passes to us so that we could board. Eventually we were able to board, but only after first and business class had boarded and about half of economy. Finally, we did not receive any form of confirmation regarding our chauffeur from Sydney Airport to our home address, adding further to our stress as we were required to chase this to make sure it had been arranged. Having flown business class with various carriers, I was not impressed at all by the return flight to Sydney on Emirates in comparison. Business is not just about extra space, but about the extra service. The extra space was far from what is equivalently offered by other airlines, given the absence of a lie flat bed. Adding to that the poor service, I did not receive the benefits expected of business class, but instead economy. Since then, I have tried to liaise with Emirates to resolve the issue. After an offer of points which wouldn't even be enough for a single short-haul domestic flight, they informed me that they had made their 'final offer' and closed off correspondence. I would strongly recommend flying anything other than Emirates. Their service is terrible, before, during and after the flight and falls short of what is comparably offered.Similar opinion? Uncomfortable Flight
Flight from Dubai to Brisbane 14 hours sitting squashed up because the person sitting next to me was very large. This is unfair on me and also the large person as we both had an uncomfortable flight. All airlines should have a selection of seats available to cater for large people as it is unfair on the person sitting next to them if part of your seat is occupied by the adjacent passenger, after all we have both paid for one seat not three quarters of a seat and one and a quarter seats.All other parts of the flight were OK.

Disappointing service- outsourcing through Flydubai
I was flying to Brisbane form Prague and booked my ticket through Emirates website directly. I booked this flight few times in the past and it used to be always good. This time, Emirates outsourced the flight from Prague to Dubai through Flydubai and the experience was very disappointing. appen if the flight was serviced by Emirates). The fly attendants did not offer any snacks or drink during the flight. The majority of people in the plane did have have any food, so I assume this flight was a low cost version flight to Dubai. However, I did pay for the service a reasonable price, and I don't think flying with the low cost provider was something I paid for. I always used to choose Emirates when flying to Australia but if they will outsource their flights to low cost provider, this is not going to happen. I am not going to pay so much money to receive such service, Huge disappointment. Would want to request the refund for the cost as this definitely was not service that was supposed to be provided for the price Emirates is charging. Worst airline I have ever flown with!
It all started at check in. Had myself and my 73 year old mother sitting separately. I offered to pay for upgrade and was told NO. The service in flight was terrible and non existent. One flight attendant dropped hot food on me in flight and I was burnt. No apology, was thrown napkins and he walked off. The food and alcohol cart Usually stopped about 3 rows in front of us and never came back, several times. The flight crew were not attentive at all and could not care less. I flew to Europe the year before with Qatar airways and they were amazing. First and LAST time I ever fly with this terrible airline. Getting ready to book my next trip with Qatar airways. So as far as Im concerned, shove it Emirates!!!

Happy with the service
Just travelled from London to Perth, the Emirates A380's are reasonably comfortable in economy. Food was pretty good too. The in flight entertainment was also pretty good. Overall a good experience.

What's happened Emirates
You were the best airline once now I will be looking to fly with someone else. Your planes are overcrowded and although your staff are nice my service button was not answered both to Dubai and back. Meals are ok but movie selection has dropped considerably

Worst inflight service
Boarded EK 432 form Dubai to Brisbane via Singapore. Food tray broken and gum struck at the back of seat number 42A economy. Staff told us to remove the gum. Food tray no problem. Hold the food in hand and enjoy. Never recommend.

Flight from Melbourne to Rome was the most uncomfortable flight I have done came of the a380 with a very painful low back pain as did the other 12 friends we traveled with never ever will fly with this air line again

I missed my flight because misguiding from Emirate airport staff : on connection arrival the monitor showed my next flight on gate B6, so I went to this gate and waited. At 7:45AM a little before the boarding time on my ticket I asked the emirate staff at the b6 desk, if it was there for Phnom Penh, she answered clearly « yes it’s here, just wait we will board in few minutes. » When entering the gate at 8:20AM she checked my ticket and saw that she was wrong and send me to the Emirates counter instead of sending me to my gate b3! they refused to help me and ask me to pay one more ticket 287$ and fly 24h after, something totally unacceptable. They refused to look for this lady who misguided me and of course she disappeared. It’s an absolute shame, I will never fly with this airline again. I choose to buy a 380$ Ticket from another airline with departure the same day. My worst airline experience ever.Similar opinion? I strongly recommend against Booking a ticket on Emirates' website because of personal experience. While comparing fares, Best price icon popped up on emirates website. There was a much cheaper option available for the same flight on flight365 but because of price match I opted to book it on Emirates. In order to price match, I was bound to buy it first on Emirates and then lodge a claim. I fell into the trap. The claim was subsequently rejected by Emirates citing one of their many hidden 'Terms and conditions'.

No service!
I flew with this brand a couple of years ago and I must say I was left thinking what was all the hype I had heard regarding the excellent service. Airline hostesses at btimes no where to be seen and most importantly once summoned through airline assist button, the average time it took to receive service was 15 to 20 minutes. This was on every flight, (4 legs) and mediocre half baked smiles with no passion in their overall delivery of service or attention. Cheap often does mean nasty, this is no exception. Fly with the ones who are always rated up there with the best. Spend the most you can afford on enjoying your flight, remember your holiday does not start when you touch down!!!

9.2.2 You will be entitled to choose one of the following three available remedies if we cancel a flight;

destination; or cause you to miss a connecting flight with us or with another airline for which you hold a
through booking/confirmed reservation and adequate time existed to make the connection after the
scheduled time of arrival of your flight
9.2.2(a) Remedy One - we will carry you and your Baggage as soon as we can on another of our flights
on which space is available and, where necessary, extend the period of validity of your Ticket to cover that
carriage.
9.2.2(b) Remedy Two - we will re-route you and your Baggage within a reasonable period of time to the
destination shown on your Ticket on another of our flights or on the flight of another airline, or by other
mutually agreed means and class of carriage. We will also refund you any difference between the fare,
