does what it says but there are better options
I mostly liked my ergo organic carrier when I first got it, but I had one of those deflated moments when a friend showed me her new manduca after I bought my ergo. She reminded me of that old song 'anything you can do, I can do better'! My little girl is comfy in the ergo, and it does the standard carry positions fine but I have some issues with fitting properly and my friend's manduca lets her cross the shoulder straps behind the back when in a front carry. That's a great option for a smaller woman like me. I thought the infant insert seemed a bit hot and I didn't like paying extra for this feature.
comfy for baby.
Have to buy an extra infant insert. Shoulder straps not long enough. Not great value.

This and the hugabub are what my husband calls his life savers. A quick walk round the block and our baby always falls asleep, or at least calms down as he gets to look at all the interesting things around him while listening to our heart beat and being swayed by the action of walking. I think where this product is superioir to others such as the baby bjoern, is that it encourages ergonomic hip posture that protects the growing sacrum from excess strain. Would definitely recommend. They are very sturdy so a second hand one used by one family wi...Read more
ll still have plenty of life in it, which makes it more affordable to buy. We travelled on three continents with this carrier for 1.5 months when our baby was 4.5 months old. It is easy to carry together with a backpack and you still have your hands free to do carry some more luggage, or at home to do household chores. It has a hood that can be fastened to protect baby from the son and to support the head and shut out light when baby is asleep. It's relatively easy to put on and take off, and most importantly, it is very good for your baby's hip development. Can be used for children up to 3 years old. You need to be a little bit flexible to close the shoulder strap by yourself. It's not cheap.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

A wonderful, easy to use carrier
I've been using the River rock green ERGObaby Organic since my little one was born a month ago. She goes to sleep almost immediately, especially if we're outside on a sunny day. It is great when your arms get tired after feeding or if you need to take care of some chores around the house. I even managed to iron a few shirts yesterday while wearing her. She was most content!
The sleeping hood is good for protecting from the sun and I really like how secure she feels against me. The carrier is super comfortable and displaces the weight nicely....Read more
As my little one is only a month old, we use the heart 2 heart insert which seems to be comfortable for her. Occasionally I'll take her out of the carrier whilst still in the insert and she will sleep happily in the insert in the bassinet. The only thing I would advise is to remember to adjust the back/chest strap up higher before you wear it otherwise it is really awkward to try and put your hands over your shoulders to secure it in the default position. I had a slight manufacturing fault with the first one I had, but the retailer took it back immediately, replaced it for free and paid for all postage. I was very impressed with the customer service. Comfortable, easy to use A little on the expensive side but worth it. She can get very hot in there if I'm out walkingSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

I love, love, love my Ergo baby carrier. It is the best money I ever spent, I still use it every single day even though my daughter is now two and a half years old.
This is excellent value. It comes in any colour you want, it is sturdy, it lasts and lasts, and it is super versatile - I have used the front, hip and side carry extensively.
This is probably not the best baby carrier for very young or tiny babies - I found it really kicked in in terms of usefulness for babies over about 4 months of age.

By far the easiest carrier to use, and I have tried a few!!!
I found the ERGO to be the first baby carrier tht didn't take forever to figure out! Very simple to put on and off, also very easy to adjust even whilst wearing. The zip pocket is brilliant for house keys phone etc so you needn't have a handbag hanging from you aswell, and the sleeping/sun hood is a lovely touch which i use often for my daughter. The infant insert is so snug that when my daughter fell asleep in the carrier whilst smaller i would remove her still in the insert to sleep.
The colour choices are brilliant, I have the galaxy grey w...Read more

The very best!
I love this carrier! It is by far the most comfortable, practical, and versitile carrier. I love that infants can fit (with insert) up to toddler years. I bought the Petunia Pickle Bottom design in Organic, and it's beautiful and stylish! I tried 2 other carriers without satisfaction before finally discovering this one. It's a must have!
Super comfortable. Easy to use.
My baby is still small so it needs a thick infant insert. Slight hassle but no big deal.

I bought this after having used the baby bjorn for the first few months of my baby's life - the baby bjorn got really hard on my back once bub got to around 3 months old. Very happy with my ergo purchase, use it pretty much daily, pram stays home most days! Fantastic for travelling.
Fantastic carrier, can carry my baby for hours in this thing! Durable, I use it almost everyday, it's been all over Europe and shows no sign of wear, except for some fading. Zip pocket handy. Really easy to get baby on and off. THICK shoulder padding.
Need to buy an insert for use with newborn age to about 5 months

Great product, much better designed than the other baby carriers that put the pressure on the shoulders. We really enjoy using it and it fit both my husband and I and there must be 20cms height difference between us.
The ergobaby Organic has such soft cotton compared to the regular ergobaby carrier. This baby carrier is s lot easier on your shoulders and you can carry baby for a lot longer than other` carriers
Is quite bulky
I havent used it in sumemr as yet but imagine it could get very warm against you but this is not unlike all baby carriers.

Well worth the money spent. We tried Moby Wrap, Nature's Sway baby sling and Baby First frontpack before we got the Ergo, but baby didn't like these quite as much as the Ergo. We should have invested in the Ergo from the start.
It looks really nice and chic. Very easy on my back, can walk a long way carrying my baby in it. Very comfy for baby too, at the end of the walk, she can sometimes fall asleep in it. Also the front pocket is very deep and can hold many things like tissues and keys, etc.
Nothing comes to mind.
