Ive not had that error. But i googled and found this. Hope,it helps

If the washer has an F8 E1 error or LO FL error, the lid will be locked, and the control will be unresponsive. Press the power button, and the washer will start a drain routine which takes approximately 8 to 10 minutes, during which time the pump will run continuously. The control will not accept any input during this time. Please wait 10 minutes before trying to perform any functions. Once the drain routine is complete, the washer can be powered on and operated.

There are several possible causes for an F8 E1 Code:

If F8 E1 or LF (too long to fill) appears in display, it means the washer is taking too long to fill. It's possible the drain hose extends more than 4.5" (114 mm) into standpipe. Check plumbing for correct drain hose installation. Use drain hose form and attach securely to drainpipe or tub. Do not tape over drain opening. Any of these drain hose issues can cause the washer to siphon (fills and drains at the same time) and the washer never fills to the expected level.

Either the F8E1 or the LF error codes may indicate there is some problem with the water supply going to the washer. Please make sure both inlet hoses are connected and both hot and cold water supplies are turned on. This washer has sensors which detect the water supply, and requires both hoses to have water going to the water valve. If it does not detect both water supply hoses are turned on, the control detects a problem with the water pressure sensor. The lid will lock, and the machine will enter a pump out mode for 8 minutes. Ive never

Yes it does. A nifty little one similar to a clothes dryer filter, on the inside of the bin . easy to get in and out and remove lint from the screen.
Im extremely happy with this machine,so quiet and runs smoothly. Easy to choose wash cycles after using a few times now and gotten used to it but a menu is on the top left side to remind you
