Fantastic - this is the most useful and versatile appliance I have ever owned!
This appliance has been an absolute saviour, no more back breaking scrubbing, high reaching, over stretching or smeared windows and mirrors. I has cut my work time for any one job by 50%. I use it for cleaning my; sealed cork floors, tiled floors, bathroom wall tiles, seamless shower screen, kitchen cupboards - inside & out, full mirrored walls, granite bench top, stainless steel refrigerator and laundry sink.
The absolute favourite use is cleaning the internal sloping car windows, This has always been my least favourite job, now I use the...Read more

Good and bad
I love the way it cleans floors, not so good on the windows. Not so keen on the way you have to put the cloth thingy on the head, it seems to want to come off.
I would love to see an indicator that tells you how much water is in the tank
It is easy to use, it was good arount the taps.
No indicator of how much water in the tank

I love it
This mop is so easy to use. My son purchased this for me for a gift and I love it, it is just wonderful. No more chemical cleaners. Easy to use and the floors are so clean now. Easy to put together and easy to store. I love the retro shape as well.
Light, easy to use, no chemicals
Need to top up with water.

Chemical free cleaning
The monster steam cleaner takes the hard work out of cleaning. It's so versatile - I use it to clean the floor (works wonders on dirty grouting), the bathroom (removes soap scum from screens better than any chemical cleaner), the baby's toys and as a garment steamer. It's safer than using chemicals with the baby and effortlessly and quickly cleans better than any chemical.
versatility - replaces so many other cleaners and equipment

No more scrubbing on my bony old knees yehaaaaa.
Love this product I hate cleaning but someone has to do it. The Steam cleaner is so easy to use it's bliss. I have a huge area of tiles and the grout was feral. I used the small attachment to clean it and it came up a real treat. My tiles have a rough surface and dirt gets stuck in the pores so with the large scrubbing attachment they came up great as well.so I'm a happy little camper.
Light to carry, easy to put together. Accessories all work great. I'm impressed.
Maybe if it could hold a bit more water.

Been waiting a long time for this!!
I have been pleasantly surprised how easy the product is to use and how efficiently it does all the different cleaning jobs. It is light to handle and produces a very high temperature of steam to clean compared to previous cleaners I have had. Actually made cleaning all my tiles quite an easy job.
Light and efficient, quick to get the jobs done

Very handy
This steam mop is Great for floors and grout! It Heats up quickly and is easy to fill. It comes with lots of useful attachments too. It packs away easily and is very light to carry. It can be used for many purposes and floor types. I find many uses for my steamer.
Easy to use. Quick to heat. Very light.
The attachments are quite hard to attach and remove and the towelling mop does not stay put on the head.

Euroflex Monster Compact (SC60-R)
We have a house full of tiles, didn't want to use chemicals to clean the floors and grout. The unit works well and is not heavy so can be used with shoulder strap to clean bathroom, splash back walls etc. We have even been using the unit to clean the windows with good results.
A good tip is to use distilled water, we have since purchasing it.
Have recommended to a few friends already.
Ease of use, lots of accessories that come with the unit, Euroflex based in home state.
Nothing, perhaps a longer warranty period.

My floor tiles looks like new!
My floor looked ugly with the grout between the tiles stained, and now it looks like new. It easily removes built up grime from kitchen areas and bathroom tiles and glass. The monster cleaner is easy to handle and takes away the tiring scrubbing I used to have to do.

When it works its ok
This was an expensive machine for what it does. When working it gives a reasonable clean providing you change the cloths a lot during the process...otherwise it just moves the dirt around. I wouldn't have said it was any better than the Enjo mop and cleaners we had been using. The sales rep who sold it to me raved about how fantastic it was for everything from floors, to showers, to mattresses and lounges. I didn't find this to be the case. My husband loved it when we first got it but we found changing the attachments fiddly. It was ok for tile...Read more
s and glass/ceramic surfaces but would not recommend it for any soft furnishings...all it does is add moisture to them that takes days to completely dry. Similarly to what others said, the only way to tell if the tank was full was when it overflowed, having said that it did not take long to heat and it seemed to cover a reasonable area before running out of steam. The tubing was flimsy enough that it broke and had to be replaced under warranty and Euroflex were quick with this...however once out of warranty (which was only a year) it has been a whole different story. The steam connection inside the handle has broken. The only way to have it fixed is to send the whole unit to Perth (We are in Vic) at my expense and they will send me a quote including return postage. So a machine that cost well over $300 is sitting useless in the corner until I can afford to send it back...think it will be cheaper to go buy a new machine with closer customer service. compact expensive, short warranty, only serviceable in PerthSimilar opinion? Complete waste of money
Having researched steam mops from Choice reviews and also on the recommendation of a Harvey Norman sales rep I chose this steam mop as it was classed as one of the best. Unfortunately it has proved to be a completely inferior machine.
The plastic clips that secure the cleaning cleaning cloths continually spring off, and have to be re-fixed, a time consuming excercise. The cord also kinks as it does not a have a swivel action, which means the steam does not comes out until it is straightened, something that happens all the time while you ...Read more
are trying to clean the floors - very frustrating. It does not have a carrier handle of any sort, making it difficult to transport from room to room and as the power cord is not retractable it is difficult to store away neatly. Another disappointing feature is the small attachment brush and cloth for cleaning showers and other surfaces, it is not large enough to cover large areas such as shower walls etc. Also annoying iis there is no water indicator to show how much water is left in the barrel. For the large amount of money this machine costs, it is surprising that it has few redeeming features. When actually doing it's job without any hassles, it cleans very well Plastic clips keep springing off, hose continually kinks - blocking steam, non- retractable cord, no proper handle, cumbersome to carry around., no water level indicatorSimilar opinion? Disappointed with poor quality fittings, poorly designed accessories and the bad result
We got this by recommendation from the sales rep and I am pretty surprised how badly it performed considering the glowing review I got.
What I wasn't impressed with straight up was the mop handle is at a weird angle so I had to mop holding the handle uncomfortably low so the head would be flat on the floor, and the microfiber pad clipped on poorly, hanging off and making the mopping quite difficult. However, it seemed to clean the floors okay, but left them quite damp and slippery, something I don't want with tiles and a one year old.

wet floors
I would recommend that anyone considering a floor mop and steam cleaner combined, actually buy two seperate machines. One that does the floors and another for steam cleaning. Apart from this model leaving the floors wet, the hose really winds and twists and kinks as it is moved around.
We peimarily bought it for the floors. Sometimes it works like it should and sometimes it leaves the floor so wet that I have to use towels to mop up the water. When the floors dry, water marks are left on the floor.
This is not a model I would reommend for f...Read more

Don't waste your money. Might kill a couple of germs, but you still have to wipe.
To make you feel better the catches on the strap are made of fake steel, for me the unit was almost on the ground at the time when it just fell apart..

Quite excited really.
I bought this primarily to do floors, both tiles and floating timber floors. The first time I used it on the timber it seemed quite wet, but I've tried it again and found with the timber floor it's best to give it short bursts of steam rather than continuous flow. On the tiles I just let it steam away and it worked really well. You need to put a bit of elbow grease into mucky bits but that is the case with any floor mop. It does leave a bit of smeary marks on the floor but I think this is more due to the cloth they provide. I am trying differen...Read more
t cloths. When you use a mop and bucket you wring out the mop and go back over it to remove excess water. You can't do this so wiping with a dry cloth after helps. I have also tried the steam jet attachment and am addicted. I've done the seals around the dishwasher and also the join between the sink and the bench. It's awesome. Next I will try it on the windows. Thought I should also mention that one of the previous reviews on here is for a differnt model. The steam jet attchment blasts away grime in narrow places. The steam on/off switch, if it isn't on full it tends to click itself off.3 comments
Purchased this machine a few weeks ago and I absolutely love it. It steams well, doesn't leave any water on the floor and doesn't leave streaky marks.
Very helpful. We bought one yesterday and we will post a report after we try it out.

Good
I tried this and it was great for shower, grout, walls, oven, windows and mirrors. I knew it wouldnt be the best as i had researched steam cleaners before i brought it. It is on the cheaper end of cleaners so dont expect it to be brilliant you do have to scrub really hard stains. But I still found it great value for money.
Great for cleaning without chemicals, streak free windows.
I wouldnt use it for mopping everyday, It is great for the amount of money I paid. If it were more expensive I would have expected more options like being able to see how much water was in it, bigger water tank etc.

Good
overall i do like the euroflex monster SC60, i use it on everything and love the fact that you do not need to use any chemicals so in the long run it works out cheaper i think and healthier
i love that is versatile, you can use it in the shower on the tiles,on the shower screen, in the oven, on the stove, on the floor tiles, on the car wheel, the uses are endless,
you do not know how much water to put in as there is no indicator, so if you have to refill halfway through then you have to wait for it to cool down before refilling then to warm up again before starting again

Bad
I think it was a waste of money overall but if you want to use it for cleanin the shower and walls it does the job. I really thought i could at least steam my clothes and steam clean my couch and roman blinds, it didnt really do a good job. It only left water marks on my couch and didnt really do much to the blind. Theres tooo much steam and no head to try it on my clothes. Thought it did everything around the house but i thought wrong
It works in the shower, cleaning the corners and shower handles etc. Worked really well in the shower and cleanin dust off the walls.
You dont know when you over filled until it overflows. First time using this in the shower worked really well second time it seems like the pressure died really fast

Questions & Answers
Colleen W.asked
I have learnt to clean my floor until the steam runs out, I leave it and go and so some more vacuuming. Sometimes when I go to start using the mop after 10 min and the green light is on, I go to use it and nothing comes out. Not water or steam, nothing at all. I am so over this, and very disappointed with this product. What is going on?????
1 answer
Euroflex A.Euroflex
HI Colleen, if the green light is on, then it is heated and up to the correct steam pressure and should work as per normal. If steam is not coming, the inner tube that carries the steam (inside the external coiled hose) may have twisted inside and therefore stopping the steam from coming out. When this happens again, turn the steam switch on and try turning the steam gun 1-2 full turns to the left, if no change try turning to the right. If this does not solve the issue. Call our Customer Service line on 1800 66 38 66 (toll free) to discuss having the product serviced. For easy reference our Customer Care number is on the silver sticker on the product. You can call us for any service issues or if need any replaceable accessories such as the floor brush pads.
Tricieasked
I just purchased the steam cleaner today. I used it throughout a 3x2 yet the green light never came on letting me know it had reached temperature.
3 answers
I have found on mine that the green light comes on when I let it sit and reach operational temperature (takes about 10 mins). Once I commence using it and steam is coming out the light remains extinguished.
The green temperature light is most probably set to a higher temp than 100°C which it will/should get to as water boils at a higher temperature under pressure, and the higher temperature creates the pressure to force out the steam.
When you use the wand the pressure drops a bit, the temperature in the boiler also drops which makes the heater unit switch back on & the green light goes off while it heats up the water again. If it is steaming & cleaning properly you may just have a faulty indicator light.
Yes it does take a while to initially build up the pressure & reach temperature.
Euroflex A.Euroflex
Hi Tricie- depending on the amount of water in the boiler the unit can take 7-10 min to heat up and then the green ready light comes on as an indicator that the unit is ready to use. If the green light is never coming on then it can just be the case of a faulty light not working. Please contact our Customer Care Line on 1800 66 38 66 and we can look after that for you. Also for future reference the Customer Care number is also on silver sticker on the unit.
FYI for all customers using this model- wait for the green ready light to turn on after every fill, once you start using the unit, the green ready light will fluctuate on and off as the internal thermostat turns on and off. The green ready light turning on and off during use is not a fault, it is the way the unit operates.

Can we clean velvet?
1 answer
Euroflex A.Euroflex
HI Mackay, sorry for the late reply, we seem not to have received this question. I would say NO. Steam is used to clean sealed floors and surfaces in place of harsh chemical based detergents. Given that Velvet is a porous fabric, we do not recommend using a steam cleaner on it. Like other fabrics, the velvet may need a shampoo or a delicate detergent to clean it.
Please call our Customer Support Line anytime on 1800 66 38 66 for assistance. For ease of reference our Customer Support number is found on a grey sticker on the unit, please call us for assistance.
