Cooked a chicken and a leg of lamb at the same time both were perfect all how ate loved it very easy to clean up had no complaints at all

Best BBQ I've Ever Owned
I purchased an Everdure 4K BBQ for myself for Christmas after watching a couple of the Heston Blumenthal cooking videos. It is without doubt the BEST BBQ I've ever owned and I can assure you I've owned a few. Not only does it cook meat and seafood perfectly it is also a breeze to clean. Highly recommend.
Purchased in December 2021 at Harvey Norman for $2,500.00.

Purchased the new 4k Everdure by Heston late last year. The expense was justified because the flavour of cooking over charcoal is simply inestimable. Friends love the smokiness and char the Heston delivers on a wide range of food - everything from vegetables to meat. My favourite is a boned, butterflied marinated leg of lamb, served with seasonal vegetables cooked in olive oil in an earthenware dish on the Everdure. Friends, as I say, rave about the flavour. zza stone also makes great crispy based pizzas and flat bread. Trick is to get the temperature really hot. And that's dead easy. Use a little more charcoal and controlling the temperature through the airflow dials. What's more the design of the Everdure looks really good. It looks more like a high class garden furniture than a BBQ. Lighting the Heston is dead easy. Its up to cooking temp in under 15 minutes. And the temperature probes are brilliant. When it reads 55 degrees internally for meat you are guaranteed medium rare everytime. Just make sure you let the meat rest before carving! Cleaning the Heston is no real drama. Simply a case of emptying the ash - of which is there a tiny amount - on the garden and washing in hot water and detergent, the grill drum and plates. We chucked everything at this bbq over the Xmas and Easter holiday season and it has come up a winner every time. With kids around as well the outsdie of the Heston doesn't get super hot, because it is double skinned, and have had no issues with rust etc keeping it outside under a cover.

Everdure Heston 4K Simply Awesome
Purchased last year in time for some outdoor entertaining and what a belter of a BBQ. In constant use especially with this extended summer weather and looking forward to the cosy winter feasts. Smoked briskets, grilled steaks, ribs etc but what’s also amazing is cooking pizzas. Found it easy to clean and operate but the performance really blew me away and there was no need for too much charcoal.

Poor Build Quality - 2 complete failures in 3 months!
I purchased the 4k in January 2022 with great expectations. I so much wanted to love this BBQ.
Firstly the associated app needs lot of work and doesn't work as advertised. After a few cooks I stopped using it. Its Bluetooth range is poor at best. It offers very little value as an app. This was not a deal breaker and the BBQ does give very good results.
Failures.... On cook number 5 the button to open the hood melted and looked terrible. After cook 7 or 8 the power when out and the 4k had a power overload. The after sales servic...Read more
es was great and a technician came and changed the faulty element and replaced my button, this time with a metal one. I was back up again but after the 5th or 6th cook a complete failure again. Rather than replace the unit or refund my money as requested, they are now choosing to change the element again. I guess it will be another 1/2 day off work. My brother in law also bought a 4K at the same time and his was completely replaced after the same complete power failure. Also the meat probe cable after 2 uses has frayed at plug point. Obviously poor quality as well. Great BBQ when it works, but poor build quality and clearly faulty elements make this a frustrating $2700 purchase. For a luxury brand like this, I believe the service should be much better. After only 12 uses and now 2 repairs this is not what I was hoping for.Purchased in January 2021 at Harvey Norman for $2,700.00.

My 4K and iPhone won't pair. iPhone doesn't recognise existence of bbq, and connectivity button just tells me that I need a 4K with Bluetooth functionality???
Cooks well so far, as long as I don't won't to use Bluetooth! Help please.
