Persistent volume issue
Purchased this TV in April ‘19 for our Portsea residence where we reside over summer. In May ‘19, after approx 1 month of use the volume began fluctuating on its own. I called JB and was advised to monitor the TV and to call back if the problem persisted. I was told they would honor the warranty. The problem persisted but only at a minor level for the next 3 months hence I did not call JB. Upon returning to Portsea a month ago the problem continued and worsened. I would have the volume set at 15, would go into another room and the volume would ...Read more
go up to 30 by itself. This is after approximately 6 months of actual use. I was informed by “Customer Service” that even though I had reported the problem after 1 month of use the TV is no longer under warranty and I would have to pay for any repairs myself. This will be the first and last FFALCON TV I will ever purchase. Really not happy about this!!!Purchased in April 2021.

Goes bad over time
I purchased my Ffalcon about 2 years ago. I was impressed with the superior quality of the picture. The TV worked flawlessly for about 1 year and then all the problems started. I turn on the TV and it blinks all the time. I have tried everything to correct this and nothing worked. I tried contacting customer service for some sort of help, and I was told I would have to pay for that. Are they joking? A lot of money is spent on a TV and I know I am not the only one that thinks they should last more than one year!!!

Green screen of death!
Unfortunately this TV has green screen. I do not recommend buying an this 65" Ffalcon. After 2 years there is a green blob radiating from the middle of the screen turning anything that displays a yellow colour into green. Contacted CS and their response was, "Sorry, can't help. Warranty is only 1 year." This is unacceptable!!! TV that is 2 years old!!! DON'T buy an Ffalcon TV. You've been warned! I'm not the only person this has happened to and they won't help you.

So bad with apps and other features
I bought this smart tv thinking it would be good... It doesn't like YouTube or Netflix, it stutters on both and doesn't allow you to add play store apps. This is so bad. I've had it a month and pretty much is so bad I had to go out and purchase another TV. Don't waste money on this. They are rubbish. It connects on my network and to internet but you can't use screen share to access anything etc. Dumbest smart tv ever - not really smart at all.

Good cheap TV. Does what it says on the Tin. (Almost).
I paid $299 for this from a factory seconds place, still has manufacturer 12 month warranty.
Out of the box, needed some fine tuning for a good picture. I'll admit it can be a little dark in scenes but can be adjusted to some degree. The inclusion of smart "function" is good, there's no real app's (This isn't an Android TV, this TV runs a modded Linux/Web based OS) here so I'm focusing on what this TV does well - Netflix, Stan and Youtube and anything on HDMI input. Free to air is pretty average to watch in general .

t stream for me, there was an issue with older firmware on my unit, but I emailed Ffalcon and they sent me a download link and I updated the firmware myself. Easy instructions. Fixed the A20 error code I had with Stan. Since then, flawless. I haven't had any issues with the remote response as mentioned here. Ownership is roughly a month, so far 4K content (Youtube and USB stick) is excellent. "HDR10" is displayed on some streams and the quality is well beyond what I considered possible for this cheap TV. I haven't experienced the "poor" picture quality some people have mentioned, but I have a feeling this is a result of possibly watching heavily compressed free to air reception. I have a Hisense 65" and free to air TV looks rubbish on it as well, everything else is great though. Understandably faults happen with people's units, and from what I understand, the retailer has a right to repair over replacement. Thats a bummer in reality but this decision wouldn't affect me all that bad given this isn't my primary TV, but buyer beware obviously. if this happened more than twice I'd never again. (looking at you Samsung.. three panel replacements in three years).Purchased for A$299.00.

TV turned off out of nowhere and smelled burning
Buyer Beware. Purchased a Falcon 65” Flat TV. For ages the tv has been playing up, but then the screen-time would become shorter and shorter eventually the TV would turn off. Two weeks ago, the left panel of the TV was blurred. Then started to smell burning... Unplugged the TV, contacted JB to discover the 1 year warranty has expired. Interesting that Falcon has burning issues with their TVs. They won’t stand behind their product. Buyer Beware... Do not go here!

Cheap price. Cheap product. Cheap customer service!
My husband and I purchased a FFALCON 65 inch HD Smart TV in March 2022. Just after only a bit over a year the TV shuts off after a few minutes. Tried reseting the software, and troubleshooting what we could. We're pretty tech savvy so wanted to try ourselves first. NOTHING WORKED!!! We then called customer service only to be belittled and talked down to. We are very very upset and will NEVER EVER buy a FFALCON product again. Please do not support a company that would treat their customers this way!

Cracked LCD panel
Took delivery of FFALCON 55 inch LCD TV. Box and TV appeared to be undamaged. Plugged the TV in and discovered the LCD was cracked. Filed warranty claim. While they acknowledged TV was damaged during shipping, they refused to replace the TV saying warranty does not cover damaged LCD panel. I did nothing wrong but now I'm out a lot of $$$ for the cost of the TV. So not cool!!!

Don't waste your money
Sound on the FFalcon is ok for a TV. Obviously better if you have external speakers/amp etc.
The picture quality is really bad. I have basically downgraded. I didn't have a smart TV, had to connect telstra box to get netflix, youtube etc on my previous TV. I wanted a smart TV (for convenience). So I bought the FFalcon. The picture quality on the FFalcon is not adjustable from any app (netflix/youtube etc). You have to be on free to air TV to be able to access the picture settings (well, any settings).
To give you an idea of what the picture loo...Read more

Really unhappy with this one!
Poor quality visuals. Bad software (hard to use). I thought this was supposed to be better than what I got. It wasn't even that cheap. And horrible to watch sports on. No way with one of with these brands...not ever again.

Absolute crap! Going back to Sony.
Two months old and already kicked the bucket! :( Price was awesome, but I guess that doesn't really matter now. Out of nowhere the screen started flickering and over a four week period bit by bit stopped working. No such thing as a free lunch aye! Very disappointing! The people at JB said it was quality and I trusted their advice. Customer service is a joke too! They said they can fix it, but now I gotta be without a TV for a few weeks. :( Just gonna stick to the big brands from now. I'm not gonna go with these cheapo brands ever again!

You've got to be joking!
Bought this about 3 weeks ago as the price was just too good to pass up for a 65 inch tv, and like I totally understand the concept of sacrificing a little bit of quality and going with a no name brand in lieu of an awesome price, but for a brand new TV to just totally stop working after 3 weeks is a joke! About 2 weeks in out of no where the screen started cracking and freezing up, and then it started happening more and more each day until the whole thing just stopped working and now it doesn't turn on at all! Like what the hell! Now I have to take it back to JB so they can send it off to get repaired. Means it's a few weeks without any telly for me. If the footy was on now I'd be fuming! Swear I'm not buying from these guys again.

So bad
Absolutely horrible and they will not listen. TV looked ok in the shops - don't know what games they're playing but it looked crapped when I installed it at home. Had a technician out and everything and the picture quality is crap. Not on my watch.

Rubbish product and customer service
The Auto dimming feature does not turn off. There is a constant fluctuation of the brightness according to the amount of darkness on the screen. It makes it unwatchable. It is most noticeable during end credits. Forget it if you watch anything with subtitles especially night scenes. Every subtitle changes the brightness. I have called customer service 4-5 times, and they are hopeless. I have replaced the unit for another at JBHIFI as it was agreed that this was a faulty unit but the replacement has the same problem. The only solution offered is to get another brand. The remote is very slow to respond. Very poor.

Definitely has issues. Wouldn't recommend
So update of this TV review now we have used it for awhile - So the first thing we noticed about this Tv is that it is slow to react to remote. Channels do not show correct information right away either. Sometimes you have to wait for channel info to change, other times you have to change that channel and go back into it for it to change. It has Mostly overseas apps which don't work. Tv often freezes if channels are changed too fast so have to turn wall power off and on to unfreeze. TV often just goes black, looses sound for no reason so again ...Read more
have to turn wall power off and on. Sound is Ok. Sometimes seems to have a kind of muffled sound, not quite clear, so have to turn it up very loud. It is depending on the show/movie. Picture is good. Nice and clear. Netflix, Youtube and Stan work fine when not experiencing above freezing issues. I wouldn't really recommend this TV to anyone unless you really can't afford anything else. If you buy just be aware of issues and learn the fixes.Purchased in February 2021 at JB Hi-Fi for A$379.00.

Definitely not what I was expecting!!!
I was wanting to purchase a good but affordable TV for my mum for Mother's Day coming up. Went into the store today get some help as I am not very savvy with technology. The worker for some reason raved on about this one and I thought it was a good buy. Long story short, went over to my parents place and set it up... The quality is no way near as crisp as I thought it would be. Definitely didn't look this bad in the store, and in many instances the image is very choppy! On top of that, she's finding it really hard to use the control and switch between things. I specifically asked the store clerk if this was easy to use for older people and they said yes. Not happy Jan!!!

Poor picture quality but good price
I bought this TV thinking JB wouldn't sell rubbish but you get what you pay for. The price on the tv was pretty good and the image quality is ok but not good enough to enjoy sport. I would not buy this brand again.

Hmm I guess you get what you pay for
Bought this a couple of months ago from JB-HI. Was cheap for what it is. Same issues as other posters. Remote/channel change is slow to respond and channel isn't actually what is shown. Also if you do too much with it, the screen will often just go blank and we have to turn it off and on again to get picture back. Also have found sound is often hard to hear. Son in law bought one the same time and seems to have had no issues l Luck of the draw maybe.
